Agreed. The guy explained it around page 814 or 815 and an OMS order pulls from the regional warehouse that supplies X amount of Best Buys around you. As far as I understand, I don't think the regional warehouses ship to each other.

It was as of a couple days ago. Just be aware that they may send it to you without a shipping box (as I received it, as well as at least one other CAG) so expect the CE box to get damaged and hope it doesn't get stolen (if you are not home at time of delivery).

Went ahead and ordered M#9 from Square Enix store, didn't have to pay for tax, so if I can't grab it with GCU, shipping from the SE store would have equaled AMZN anyway.

Hopefully it wouldn't be too difficult to cancel the order..on the confirmation e-mail it says they don't charge until your item is preparing to ship and they will notify you before they charge. I used PayPal.

WTB Fallout 4 CE of some kind dang it.  Come on Bethesda... none of that "CE Without A Game" crap.

Oh, and that MN9 Signature Edition sure is nice.  Definitely hoping to snag one of those if it shows up elsewhere.

Expectations are high since the Alduin statue is still my favorite of CE item.

 
I pulled the trigger on M#9SE for :xb1:.  Odd because I had to create a new account, and also odd because I wanted to pay with an AmEx associated with my PayPal account but I wasn't given the option.  I can't wait to cancel this order. :)

You might be right, I don't see anything in PayPal or on my AmEx yet, and when I ordered Type 0 there was an immediately authorization for $1. Only time will tell at this point. :D

This is the first time i reserve on Amazon, so do they ship on the date the Game/item comes out, or do they before for the person pre-ordering to have it on the day of release?

Depends on the title. You are only "guaranteed" to get it on release day if it says "Release Day Delivery" on the item page. However, I've gotten some non-Release Day Delivery games on release day as well, so it's kind of hit or miss there.

A flag will show up on the item page under the price that says the item qualifies for release day delivery.  Then it will also show up as one of the shipping options during checkout (like one-day shipping, two-day shipping, Release Day Delivery).   I think it shows up on your order details page then afterward, but I don't recall that part.

I checked but since i'm International, pretty sure that i can't recieve it on realease day. I mean, i can't even get 2-day free shipping with Prime ...

 
Does anyone have tips on how to get notified ASAP when a Collector's Edition of Fallout 4 is announced?  Just subscribe to Bethesda's Twitter feed, or is there some better way?  I keep thinking there should be some website that alerts users when CEs of games are announced, similar to how NowInStock.net works - but that site is really only useful for people who missed the original announcement.

I think the best way to achieve that is to be a part of the Line group that has been mentioned lately. Unfortunately, following the game dev doesn't guarantee that you'll know when retailers list the game on their websites.

CAG CE/LE General Talk:

  • Any General CE/LE Talk or questions
  • If a alert was posted in the alert thread that alert could be discuss in this group as to not clutter the alerts group burying the alert

So when you PM me your Line Username to be added specify which group you want to be added to or even both if you desire.

Again im doing this as a way for Cags to help other Cags like a buddy system so therefore just 2 simple rules: (Breaking either could result in termination from group)

  • No Trolling (Meaning do not post a false alert just to be trolling to get a rise out of others)
  • No Bragging of Reselling or Hoarding Multiples for profit

Really hoping for a Skyrim-level Fallout 4 CE ... A statue of  Brotherhood of Steel power armor  or an Enclave soldier would be amazing, but at the very least I really want a full scale Fallout art book that's on the same level as the bound Skyrim art book. Fingers crossed ... just no Pipboys this time ...

 
For those who were able to order the Batman Arkham Knight LE from BB when the price was messed up, Does anyone know how or if you get the Harley Quinn DLC? I thought the HQ DLC came with it but it doesn't say it anywhere on the page for the LE.

jusr grabbed arkham knight le on amazon, too bad as I wanted the red hood missions, retailer exclusive content is ruining the triple AAA market

I picked up my ps4 Witcher 3 CE and it was in perfect condition no dents or anything. Had an OMS ship to the store. Thanks for the help again.

Did yours come in a huge outer box as well? I had this gigantic cardboard box with "don't sell before" stickers on mine then the smaller but still large actual box inside it.

No they just had the CE box behind the sliding doors were they put all of the online orders. They did put a sticker on the box but it wasnt pressed so it came off easily. I had 2nd thoughts after I saw the comments stating they had big dents.
 
My xb1 Witcher 3 CE I ordered via OMS came in a shipping box. It was well padded inside and the CE came in pristine condition. I guess I got lucky that BB didn't just slap a shipping label on the CE itself. The only time that's happened was when I snagged the Titanfall CE for cheap at BB. The outer sleeve was torn in several places but I didn't mind since I had no plans to keep that gigantic box.
