Guess PS4 turns out to be the platform of choice then, if that's the case. Let's hope it's not MGS V PS4-only DLC and it's PS4 games in general that have it, if it has to be platform-specific.

That's the real trick to check for. I think Wheeler was more thinking about the MGS V PS4 moreso than handhelds, though you're right about the AC adapter.

I know. I was just giving the first example I could think of that was different.

Edit: When I went abroad, the only thing we took that didn't work on 220 V was the 3DS/DSi chargers. So we bought third-party ones that worked.

I got one when I walked in to pick up my CE. There looked to only be 6 or so and I was the first one at open. But the guy behind me fi signed processing before me and he didn't get one. I actually asked because I saw them. So YMMV is my answer. Depends if they have them left when you get there. It's nice and weighty haha.

I preordered online but I didnt get a medallion... Plus my steelbook had two dents and paint wear on it.... Its just not moticeable enough for me to put an inquiry... :(

The statue is extremely low quality too

Yeah. I wasn't one of them (never been a fan of megaman) but everyone has passion for different things. I love Castlevania and as a collector as much as a gamer having the slipcover and bonus content on disc is worth it to me. Especially when I'd just be purchasing it day one Kickstarter or not.

 
I have the Batman Ps4 pre-ordered at Amazon, when's the latest I can cancel it? Not sure if I want it and want to cancel before it ships. Also with the new 1tb ps4, I wonder if the Batman one will be cheaper?

If they do announce a Metal Gear ps4 for NA, I'll gladly preorder one of those!

The safest I would say is next Tuesday or Wednesday. Sometimes they charge early but don't really ship it until Sunday lol

Okay that works. I'll decide after Sony's e3 conference then. Maybe they'll lower the price if a 1tb ps4 is announced or maybe they'll announce the MGs5 PS4. If they lower the price I might keep it, but if they announce the MGS5 system, I'd prefer that. Also if I do decide to get it, I might switch my preorder to BB, might as well work towards that elite plus status again.

I was in the amiibo chat group and someone posted a link. You can also get invited by any member that is already in the group through a link, QR code (I'm not sure if this works for group invitations though), or directly by another user if the other 2 methods are blocked or don't work.

Sometimes invites are blocked because we've had trolls come in and try deleting entire groups. They open up, but only for short spurts them are closed again. It sucks but some people have get off on trolling.
 
I was able to obtain an ESO Imperial Edition at Best Buy ($20 savings) brick and mortar on release day.  I will be returning my online Gamestop order when it comes in (which should be tomorrow-Thursday).  Let me know if you are in the Lake Mary, FL area and want to be at the store when I return.

Is anyone else missing the pre-order bonus code from BestBuy for the Elder Scrolls CE? I only see the imperial edition code... Made the order online for the PS4....

 
I've never played FFXIV before, but I'm going to buy it so I can play Heavensward. Question:

the CE bonus items. Are they level restricted?

The Griffin Mount probably would be restricted. Not sure what level though, you could use mounts starting at 30 in the base game. But to enter Ishgard you have to have finished the story, requiring Level 50 and a bit of playtime.

The Helm, Minion, and Fantasia would all be usable instantly I believe.

No. being in a free company doesnt really help. You're looking at around 50 hours or more to finish up the main story. Tank or healer will likely get you through it faster for when you have to do dungeons and trails but they are changing it so if you havent done the trial or dungeon yet you get pushed in front of the que.

The nice thing for you at least is that doing 2.1 to 2.55 will grant you exp so when you get to heavesward youll be past 50.

No Free Company needed, though it always helps. As far as length, your basically going to be intertwined with the story during your whole grind to 50.

Given all the dungeons and primal fights and such, I'd say around a week after you hit 50? Not sure whether the influx of new people would make it easier or harder to clear. Depends on how quick you can catch on and how much you play.

 
Thanks. I hope it's worth the investment, because MMORPGs are really hit and miss with me. So many I just can't get into. I stopped playing them because I find they aren't worth it unless you can put a ton of time into them and I can't really do that.

With the CE, the code for the CE content unlocks the explorer pack. I found that out after getting a spare code off a buddy, ended up giving that to another guy
 
REALLY surprised no one else seems to be complaining about the fact that the ESO Imperial Edition comes with a G1-sized Steelbook!!  I've got a few other X1 steelbooks, but I snapped this photo yesterday...
