One thing I am wondering however, is if I can just swap my 2TB hard drive in my current PS4 to the new PS4 without any issues.  It has PT on it so I don't want to lose that lol.

Has anyone tried just swapping the hard drive into the new console?

you'll have to do a backup to an extra external drive with enough space on it, swap the 2tb drive into the mgs console then do a restore onto the 2tb hard drive. this is what I'll be doing as well.

if you try to just swap the hard drives the PS4s won't recognize them and will reformat them, erasing all data.

Won't I lose PT if I do a restore? Sorry for the noob question, just trying to figue it out.

 
I think a lot of people are purchasing this thing simply because it's perceived as hard to get. But really... everyone is getting one who is trying.

Eh, it's cheaper than buying a non-LE in the states, and I was planning on getting a PS4 this year anyways.

If they announce an LE I want more here, and/or have a great Black Friday sale, I'll just sell this one.

Just wondering do you think this system will still be around in October? I have the glacier white and would love to jump on this one. If not I'll just have to see if any CAGs will be selling one for a reasonable price down the road.

I honestly doubt it. Same thing happened with the MGS4 PS3 console. Plenty to get before the release, then nothing. They now sell for a premium online, $600+. Luckily I have one lol

 
Gotta switch to Capital One. Anyone know how much wells fargo charges for conversion?

I'd also like to know if you can transfer PT to another ps4. And you should be able to add extended warranty from ps store to that ps4 from france no problem eh?

Well, but most retailers are $399.99 still + tax will be about $432 here in TX even for the non LE models. Yea I know there are often sales and stuff but in general an LE design console for $415 ain't bad.

P.T. transfers when you use backup and restore to an external hard drive. Mine initially showed a lock symbol and wouldn't work. Then it magically worked after about 3 tries to open. Not sure what happened.

I somehow doubt it, aside from previous MGS systems being gone right after release. We also saw the same thing with the Arkham knight LE console. Looks like Sony just likes to overproduce on Destiny stuff.

So I'm confused. Is halo 5 coming out on 10/20 or 10/27. I'll be halfway around the world all month until the 28th and I don't want to lose this order since I preordered during the half off glitch :(
 
As a big Star Wars fan, I wish I liked the Darth Vader PS4 more. The console itself is kinda underwhelming and looks like a simple decal slapped on a standard black PS4(other than the Star Wars logos). The controller is ugly and the reason it looks that way is irrelevant, it's still ugly. I think it would have been better if it was white with a stormtrooper theme, empire logos, etc.

I ordered a MGS console as it's imo, the best looking limited edition console we have seen and the controller is equally nice. I was out when I read you couldn't play Region A Blu-rays, but as long as you can change the region without a hassle, I don't care. Anyone know if this bundle uses the newest model of the PS4 and would the DLC be usable on a US PSN account?

wouldn't that be false advertising on their part. Picture and description show the LE version, not the standard black with the game. They do gave a separate page for that.
 
I'm trying to decide if I should get mkx kollectors right now or wait for it to become cheaper at gamestop and use my 50 points. I see a few available at gamestops near me so I can afford to wait.
 
I might have an extra Pip Boy Edition should I not decide to keep it.  It will either be a PS4 or XBOX ONE copy, or I might just return it.  Waiting on a buddy to see if he will trade me for his PC copy.

I actually just bought mine a few months back. I never expected to actually get a MGSV console, so I got one from Best Buy (The Last of Us bundle). I will probably end up selling the one I have now once I receive the new one.

Yes, a few popped up at the Bethesda store earlier. Lasted maybe 3 minutes, seems like Bethesda just put up a few orders that got cancelled. Now if you have a Citi rewards credit card and have 16,100 points to burn, then you may be in luck :)

If you're importing that PS4 then you probably shouldn't assume that you will be able to change the Blu Ray region. That one youtube video seems to be the only confirmation of anyone being able to change movie regions. Even in the comments there is someone who couldn't change the region of his French PS4.

That being said, Blu Ray players are cheap anyways so you shouldn't let that deter you.
