I do start to wonder if game companies had started to adjust production numbers on CE releases lately after so many CEs were overproduced and sit on retailer shelves until they get clearanced out during the last gen. Unless a game totally bombed (Order 1886). Seems like CEs these days are more likely to sell out or close to selling out before release (MGS V, Pipboy, Juggernog, Mighty no 9, Taken King, Majora's Mask, Witcher 3, Elder Scrolls online) than hitting clearance (MK X and Arkham Knight seems like the only really overproduced CEs for big titles this year)

Amazon really has no control over ups or weather.

Could also be their location. I live in Indiana and stuff gets sorted and shipped insanely fast here for me most of the time. I just imported something from AmiAmi and it got here like 3 days before the estimated date.

The only thing that matters is that your item arrives on or before the estimated delivery date. If I just chose standard shipping (which I did) and I get mine before yours, it has more to do with location, then amazon playing favorites. I live near the eastern seaboard and close to a customs hub. These are coming from one location and one location only (France). It's not like amazon.com orders that come from strategically located warehouses.

The mentality of "I paid more so I should get it first...." is pretty childish with something like this. It went UPS; there are only one or two viable shipping speeds for UPS mail coming from an international location and knowing this I knew it was kind of stupid to pay more since they were most likely going to ship them the same method regardless.

Those who paid more will get their consoles on or around the estimated delivery date and those who choose the standard shipping will make out and get it before the estimated delivery date. No one is getting screwed.

But again... it's August 31st and you're complaining because?
