Samsung Spinpoint 2TB M9T Mobile SATA Drive ST2000LM003
Got it from Amazon for $85.75 from Price Slayer seller. Now I see someone selling it lower price for $84.99 by Hard Drive Geeks seller.

I'll use the 2TB in my PS4 and use that 500 stock drive as an internal if i ever needed.

This is the exact same one I ordered last week, even the same seller, & just swapped to yesterday.
 
After installing MGS5 and MadMax my 2tb currently only has 400gb free.

The Seagate external has the Samsung Spinpoint inside it? So not sure what you mean.

I came here to see if anybody else is having an issue with amazon. did you order the MGS CE for ps4? cause i been complaining to amazon since yesterday about this. they emailed me today saying they're sorry that i wasnt notified sooner, but they never received their CE's and are expected to receive them on the 6th, with expected delivery on the 7th. they gave me $10.00 credit and extended my prime membership for a month for the inconvenience.

Nah I got US versions for everything, and a Euro copy with the console. I want at least one Japanese one for the larger arm as it would make an awesome display piece, but it will probably be priced so fucking high.

Also, my console came out to like $416 and change with the shipping and Foreign transaction Fee.

Got my MGS PP CE from Amazon yesterday. Opened it this morning to find it in perfect condition so I was happy! Also confirmed that I received the DLC code for the CE about 24 hours after I received the game. 

 
Just received my MGS EU Playstation 4 console. I will say the shipping box was jacked up. Also it looks like customs must've opened my system box up. So heads up to anyone out there wanting theirs pristine. Can't wait to fire this sucker up!!

Just got mines too. The shipping box is a bit beat up but not ripped. My MGS console box got a small hole at the top.

BBY sometimes reuses boxes from other product that was shipped in when shipping things back out. Some of the more common reused boxes are Mac and Ipads as they are exceptionally solid, both of which have those stickers on them.

Only problem is that the drive won't have warranty unless it's in the external enclosure and once it's cracked open, it has no warranty. Just something to keep in mind if you go that route.

And PS4 still won't read as HDD larger than 2 TB I believe.
 
What's the fail rate on a hdd these days though? I've owned multiple internal and external drives in the past 15 years or so and only had one go bad. And that was an external I dropped on cement.

1.5TB does work on the PS3, as my PS3 has a Hitachi 1.5TB drive in it that has been working great. 2TB, the PS3 tells you to go fuck yourself and won't format.

If you read reviews, more than it should be, as people get DOA drives and short-lived drives often enough to be annoying. The "regular" version of the SpinPoint 2TB routinely goes on-sale for $100, even as cheap as $95, so I'd rather get the bare drive and make sure it's warrantied for 2 years without issue.

 
On a funny note, the dude that I presume we all bought our MGSV consoles from no longer ships to the US, and jacked his price up by $160 bucks lol

So glad someone here posted that Ebay auction with the MGS V Shinkawa art EU steelbook for $24 last week. I managed to snag one and just got rid of the NA steelbook for $30 making it kinda like an even trade. For all the talk about how ugly the NA steelbook is, they seem to be selling like hotcakes on ebay.

That is not really that accurate. The max size for the 9.5mm is 2tb right now. There is a device out there, nyko puts it out I believe, that will allow you to use a larger 3.5" drive. Also, you could fashion a cable setup up hook it up outside of the ps4. I think I saw it was 4tb that I saw.

I meant what fits inside the console, so my bad for not being clear with that. I tried myself to use a 2TB with the PS3 and it fails to format every time.

Better hope you get a honest buyer and not some scumbag who says it didnt work after redeeming it. I had that happen to me a couple of times but they were for under $5 so I didnt really care.

Have you tried playing the Beta? Once I get far enough into the game to see the Queen of Blades, the game stutters so bad that it takes me several minutse just to shut it down.

I'm tempted to snag one of those Steelbooks....except they are now $45 bucks. Ugh....might just pass lol

No, I'm planning to play it tonight. I'm guessing this happens in one of the prologue missions? Let me know which one and I'll get back to you :)

 
Steelbooks are awesome.  But I don't go out of my way by paying more than $20 for them.  There's infinite LE steelbooks you could be importing from Zavvi at premium prices.

I only collect steelbooks 'officially' released in NTSC with the game; e.g. Thief PS4, Assassin's Creed III, etc. because there are way too many.

I didn't get my $10 My Best Buy for the CE of MGSV, ordered that back in March... Anyone else?

Also kinda bummed I spent more for shipping on my MGSV Console but some who paid for middle or the cheapest got their console before me. Oh well.

I'm pretty sure they wait 15 days before giving you that $10 rewards certificate. In case there are returns.
