Really hoping the Fire Emblem SE restocks at BBY. Really want it with the GCU. I'll keep an eye on Amazon too though just in case. At least one of them has to restock right? They couldn't have sold out in like 5 hours right?

Its this version or no version for me unfortunately. Seeing as how this is really the only complete version out there. It really is crap how they split the game up into 3 friggin different parts and sold them all separately. 

 
Is it possible to change payment method on BB website? I had to use my BB credit card since they didn't have a release date listed. Now that Fire Emblem has a release date listed, I'd like to change it to my normal credit card.

It's pissing me off, because I don't think you can manually. I need to change so many buys off of my American Express in March. I hope they don't expect me to cancel orders just to change payment methods.

you will have to call and have them do it on over the phone there no way to do it yourself

$300 is what its selling for on eBay. Prices are slowly coming down from $400-360.

im fairly certain the same thing happened with xeno x when it first appeared. i think retailers are showing small inventory because of the chance of an oversell. but FE might be just that popular.

Damn. I wanted the FE LE, but was hoping it would stay up until Monday...maybe it'll come back.

By the way, when BB does the auth charge, how long does that put the funds on hold?

Not entirely. Sometimes BB does revolving auth checks throughout the interim between order placement and shipment. So the initial authorization hold will fall off in a few days, but then the system will periodically re-authorize the card every so often, creating a new auth hold, which will then fall off a in a few days after it was created.

 
i cant believe it IT CAME TODAY!!!!  so not only did target give me a 30$ giftcard for cancelling the pipboy for xbox one but now they just sent me today the entire thing free!!!!!  i thought the email was fake at first but this just made was crazy happy gamer!!!!

does it depend on card or something? Cause I always use discover and never had that happen once even on pre orders that don't Come out for long time

I've never been able to figure it out either. I never used to see it happen when I ordered with a debit card or my AmEx (despite seeing people talking about it happening to them here on CAG all the time). But I've seen it happen quite a bit recently on my Visa and MCs. Not sure how it's determined.

 
I have Star Craft 2:  Legacy of the Void CE on hold at GS, and I was wondering if anyone has an idea of the scarcity of this.  I can't get it at BB at all (online or in-store within 250 miles) but a few GS stores around me having "Limited Stock."  I've never bought a Blizzard CE immediately after release before so I don't know how they behave.  Can we expect a restock?

I've definitely seen BB have Blizzard CEs well after release date but honestly I don't see why they would be holding them back at this point. I think I would put one on hold at GS, try to put in an OMS order at BB if possible, and then go from there.

Or wait a while and get them cheap off eBay. There isn't anything really unique from this CE (like those dog tags from WoL), so I don't see the price being above MSRP.

What is odd is that Best Buy's eBay store shows most of my local Best Buy stores as having them in stock, yet when I call one of them they are completely empty.

I've seen the Heart of the Swarm CE at stores recently, but not the original Starcraft 2 CE. However, I did see it in stores long after release day.

The only recent Blizzard CE I can think of that was a challenge to get was the first Diablo 3 release.

I think what I'll do is go ahead and pick up the copy that is reserved at GS and maybe when the holiday return period is close to being over I'll check stock and see what things look like. I'm in no rush to play it because I haven't even finished the story from WoL yet, but I don't want to miss out on the CE. :)

Even Diablo 3 was pretty readily available well after release. I believe I picked one up for $40-something when Amazon clearanced them out on a lightning deal.

 
Has anyone had an issue returning the Pip-Boy Edition?   One of the two I ordered showed up with the outer plastic slip cover cracked all to heck (thankfully the other one showed up mint).  I'm concerned that BB will give me a hassle returning it since there is no shrink wrap or seal anywhere beyond the little clear stickers holding the slip cover in place.

Both of my credit cards do not expire until the end of 2016, yet neither work. It's because Best Buy's website is garbage, not anything wrong my cards really. If they fixed the damn release date for the listing, it'd probably let me pre-order.

I am going to take a swing at buying a gift card to do it. Thanks for the tip!

EDIT: Well that worked pretty smoothly. Bought a $50 card. I used a $25 cert for the PO plus covered the rest with the GC. All set it seems, no VISA needed for the Pre-Order.

GCU > all. The only real perk of Amazon is their CS is much better than BB. If you receive a damaged CE from BB they usually give you the run around or take forever to respond to emails. Amazon will usually just refund you your money right away.

I don't have too much experience with damaged items unless they can fit into a bubble mailer. For Xenoblade, it will most likely fit into a box.

Took mine back, the only part of it that was a hassle was being told by the BB employee I should sell it on ebay instead of returning it in store.

BBY's website is kinda crap and their order management is garbage. I recently activated my new chiped credit card. Its the same thing, just with a 1 year later expiration date. Ive been getting order billiing errors CONSTANTLY for my preorers that have been coming out at the end of last month and this month. Its getting really annoyin. I Have to go in and manually change it for every order when the error comes up through a special link they give me. And sometimes it gives and error again and wont update. I actually just had Sword Art Online Canceled for some reason because of this.

I should just call and tell them to fix this crap but a few of the preorders i have i dont want them to screw up and cancel
