So I just got my fallout 4 collectors guides. I ordered both the hardcover and the ultimate vault dwellers bundle from Amazon.

The regular hardcover is for me to use. I wasn't sure what to expect on the bundle. But being fallout, figure reselling would not be an issue given I paid amazons discounted rate. Anyways, this thing comes in a gorgeous large box bearing the fallout 4 guy. This thing is beefy. Haven't taken off shrink wrap off yet, not sure if I will. I personally think guys would look awesome on display. If your a fan. Check it out.

Lol exactly...anyway, I got the amazon bundle as well, but I actually enjoy the series so I opened it up and plan on keeping it. Its beautiful, the guide itself comes in a unique slipcover, comes with a Nuka Cola patch, bottle caps and bottle opener and comes with some cool lithographs of the perks. I got mine for $77, retail $130. So, for a little more than the normal copy of the CE guide, figured why not. The giant outer box with the power suit armor is nice enough for me.

Get outta here with that nonsense. Not sure what your definition of "fan" is, but I'm fan enough for me, thanks though. In all seriousness, seeing you are a true fan of the series then you really should check it out. I just love the box art. I am hearing reports of missing eGuides but since I didn't open mine I cannot say for sure. People gave it a lot of flack for the price tag. At $130, no way. At $78, albeit still high, it is a bit easier to purchase as it would look awesome on a shelf.

Shipper damaged my package. Guess it was so bad that Amazon refunded my order back to me. :( ugh.

I think you have to understand the insanity of some of these fans. It's like a medal they wear, that no one appreciates but themselves.

They go onto all review sites, amazon, best buy, wherever... to write 5-star reviews on the game for every console to showboat their fandom. It literally does nothing for their lives. They get up from their computer after the heat of the moment is over. Grab their cheezy puffs, and go on..

That power armor box art looks nice but it's too pricey of a upgrade for me given what is just included.

BBY's website is kinda crap and their order management is garbage. I recently activated my new chiped credit card. Its the same thing, just with a 1 year later expiration date. Ive been getting order billiing errors CONSTANTLY for my preorers that have been coming out at the end of last month and this month. Its getting really annoyin. I Have to go in and manually change it for every order when the error comes up through a special link they give me. And sometimes it gives and error again and wont update. I actually just had Sword Art Online Canceled for some reason because of this.

I should just call and tell them to fix this crap but a few of the preorders i have i dont want them to screw up and cancel

Wow, that was disappointing. Is that the same guide you can buy for $40, just with a sleeve on it? I don't see how they justify $90 for the rest of it. If it's the same guide that runs $40, this ting should have retailed for what the guy says he paid ($78).

Honestly, has any of the extra stuff for this game come out as worth the money? Between this, the scarcity of the Nuka-Cola (and subsequent price gouging), and the horrendous build quality of the Pip-Boy, I'm legitimately asking if any of the extra merchandise has been of GOOD quality/value. I guess the free socks in the Gold bundle?

Well, I mean, they're free. Can't have a bad value of free, especially since you also got $10 off the Season Pass (or, if you were lucky, it popped for free).

 
I am not really a fan of CoD, but so far this year I would I have to say the Juggernog CE is the nicest CE this year that I have a chance to own. It's pricey even with GCU but all the stuff that was included felt and look like high quality products, even the coasters were pretty nice. I heard the Witcher III CE was pretty nice too.

I'm still waiting for my replacement. I wont be ordering from UBISoft again until they dump digital river as a shipping company. Mine came completely destroyed because they didnt prepare it for shipping at all. Then to top it off UBISoft doesn't give refunds so I am at their mercy.

I think others had some damages done to when they received there's so if that the case I wonder if these could be the damaged ones that got returned then?

Possible but if they get mine they will be very upset. It had a broken statue and broken game case along with the box being crushed and torn. Hopefully my replacement is better. The guy I talked to last night said they are shipping the replacement from Ubisofts office so Digital River wont be touching it.

I sold my game and season pass but I agree about it being a great CE. I am very pleased with the contents and yes the Witcher 3 was excellent also.

 
I thought the Pip-boy was okay, it's not as bad as some of the comments made it out to be. I think it's unique and better than a regular old statue. It however would have been nice if they included the season pass in the Pip-boy edition.

The lack of a season pass was so disappointing. I thought it was safe to assume any CE would include a season pass but I guess not.
 
to anyone who got the juggernog ps4 edition, was the game sealed?

I got the xbone from BB and the steelbook was sealed with the microsoft sticker right where you open it. Opened up the one I got from gohastings ps4 new and it didn't have anything.

It really doesn't matter what their return/refund policy is. If you paid w/ a credit card, file a dispute to get a charge back. If the item is clearly broken due to bad shipping packaging, you are within your rights to exercise. It's not like you are trying to commit a fraudulent transaction. Send it back, file a dispute and be done with.

Yeah, I knew it wasn't supposed to be in, but since the socks version had it, I thought that they might have added it. There's a card inside that looks like it's a code for the pass, but it's just an ad. Definitely was disappointed when I flipped it over without finding a code.

I didn't get the Juggernog but the Witcher 3 wins this year for me. The fact it came with 2 steelbooks went a long way.

LOL to the morons who didn't think this wouldn't happen and paid $50-100 for a bottle. Such is reality when you have dirtball hoarders working retail and showing up early.

What's funny is that after a week to process it, $3 is a rip-off, and I honestly am not sure I'll even bother paying that price when it's restocked.

 
So my GoHastings Juggernog came in and wow.  The box had a hole on one side of it.  The hole was bad enough that the damage went through the retail box and it made a fairly sizable crack on the side of the fridge.  The box wasn't as well packed but since the hole was on the center of the shipping box, I'm surprised how something like that could have punched all the way through.  Returning to GoHastings now.

 
Also didn't get the witcher but am very happy with the juggernog, a little sad the steel book is smaller than the previous ones one, have all the black ops stewlbooks

that 10 days is stretched though i dont think on pre-orders shipping methods matter. Any pre-order i done with them i always chose saver and it will always arrive either on release day or one day later at most. It only on items in stock to ship already that shipping methods really have any effects.

That's because the previous Black Ops games (I assume you played on 360) were DVD sized Steelbooks and these are Blu-Ray sized Steelbooks. Most collectors HATE when Blu-Ray media is put in DVD sized Steelbooks (see the Target exclusive cases for Lightning Returns and Tomb Raider in 2013, etc.)
