I through of the same thing and list mine for 180. Some people confuse thinking it was a system. There was a interested party or 2 but no sale yet

 
Looks like Bestbuy is the only retailer that didn't get any CE or Apocalypse edition. Every other retailer has it in stock, even Amazon have it prime ready.
 
My Apocalypse Edition did not ship yet either...got an e-mail saying there was a delay. If they fuck me out of it, I'm gonna be raising hell about it. I'm already pissed off that they basically force-canceled my Wolf Amiibo. My local store was affected by Florence, and so all of my pre-orders for store pickup had to be changed to ship to home or get canceled. Never mind that the store re-opened the Friday before last...but Wolf was sold out and now I'm screwed out of a hard-to-get-without-a-preorder item that I pre-ordered right after E3.

But, after 2018, my Best Buy shopping is largely done. Without GCU, and no more CDs in store OR online, the store is virtually worthless to me outside of the occasional overpriced Steelbook movie that piques my interest.

Edit: to clarify, I'd be pissed if they cancel it because 1. I could have ordered from somewhere else, and 2. I used my farewell GCU coupon on it; could have used that elsewhere. I will fully expect a GC for the amount of the couppn discount if they don't fulfill the order.

Man that Apocalypse Edition $400 is a TON for a CE. Even as a collector, I could never bite at that price for a forgettable title, unless I had a ton of money to burn.

I'd consider that for some special FFVII Remake CE that was limited in quantity and had something like a super high quality statue set of all the characters in the game, plus an exclusive to CE only steelbook and full soundtrack plus something else like a highwind replica lol. Or another series I love. But for Darksiders 3? Man, that's a lot. Price of a damn Xbox One X lol.

After cancelling from BB and ordering from Target, I got a delay e-mail from Target with a 12/12 estimated delivery date.

Might just be a delay with the manufacturer, I suppose. Shouldn't be another Arkham Knight fiasco, because there have already been unboxings, but you'd think they would have had everything ready in time...


And to keep on topic - looks like DMC5 CE is either already sold out on Amazon, or the option to order hasn't been opened yet. Either way, I'm not feeling it.
 
The option to order was indeed there, I ordered one when I posted it.  I kinda dig it.  Although a Dante statue would of been cooler.

Wonder how long before Bethesda is sued over bait and switch tactics. I may not agree with all the hate this game is getting, but that response is unbelievable. Then again, so many people will probably end up suing for their refusal to give a refund that they may not even care.

 
This is most likely a YMMV regional, store-specific deal, but I found a couple Collector's Editions marked down at Best Buy.

MvC:I for PS4 at $64.99 and Call of Duty WWII Valor Collection for Xbox One for $59.99. Not that great of a deal on the COD one as it's $70-80 most places.

It's going to be a sad day when BB finally stops carrying CEs.  Stores can't move that old shit.  The people working there especially hate them.  I miss my old manager that used to clearance that stuff out for 15-20% the original price just to get rid of it.  But yeah, those boxes are a huge waste of floor space and people hate them.  I'm surprised that they still do the CE thing in stores. 

 
Man this is a long shot, but anyone have a NEW Black Ops 4 Mystery Box Edition for PS4, and doesn't want it?  I actually like the game and was looking to score one for myself since I had no intention of buying the game when it came out.  Got a cheap vanilla copy from a friend who works at Treyarch, and now I want the whole shebang.  Hit me up via PM if you are looking to sell yours.

I wish I could decide on the Darksiders 3 Apocalypse Edition. I got the CE pre-ordered at Target for $103 on the Cyber Monday deal - but those statues look really well done and the whole package is just really impressive. But it's also a lot of coin to drop on a random game. Best Buy only showing PS4 version in stock though and the $80 off the price from GCU would be nice - but still $344 after taxes.

Decisions decisions....

 
Hmmm since the Apocalypse edition is back in stock, I decided to stack my 25% off GCU expiration coupon with GCU, came out to $259. Looks like this and Smash Bros Ultimate edition will be my last GCU purchases. End of an era.
 
Picked it up at lunch...I had to put the back seat down in the Jeep, so it would fit, lol.  They kept it in the Cardboard box it was shipped in, so I hope everything is OK.

 
Smash ultimate special edition is available on GameStop.

I'm thinking of cancelling my preorder. I decided to go digital and don't really need this. If it was discounted like the Super Mario Party bundle, then I'd be in for 1 just to get the controller.

That being said, if anybody in LA/OC area is still looking for Smash Brothers Ultimate Special Edition at cost, let me know. I will keep my preorder open until Monday.

Well when you add the coupon code it automatically discounts another $80 after $320 from GCU. Yea I was shocked they stacked

Has anyone here picked up and opened their Apocalypse Edition? How would you comment on the quality - does it seem like it's worthy of the price tag? Tentatively placed an order for one for the time being from Best Buy since they are sold out on XB1/PC and figured PS4 can't be far behind, but gonna be grappling with this one and if I should let it ship or not!

They were showing out all day - I checked back on the site an hour after I had placed an order for the PS4 version, and when I saw it in stock went to cancel the previous order and.... couldn't. Contacted CS and they claimed it was already awaiting shipping, tried to explain that's a mighty huge box and I imagine substantial shipping costs to get me something I would bring back to the store to return (to get the Xbox version) but no dice they claimed they couldn't do anything.
