I love when the steelbook is sold by itself for 10 bucks like this. That way I can pick it up and then I don't have to buy the game day1 for full price.

I mean, with the $10 value of it and the $10 rewards even without GCU pretty solid deal at $40 essentially. If you REALLY want to get technical, pre-orders also get 500 atoms for the cash shop, which my guess is $5 in value on paper. Personally counting the days now as we're fully addicted to the game.

The forums are filled with crytits complaining about their lone wolf experience because that's how they chose to play the game. That game was released already: Fallout 4.

I only saw the one copy. It was on top of a stack of games in the game cage. I saw it out of the corner of my eye and asked to make sure it was the MHW steelbook. Employee got it and said if I didn't buy it he would since he didn't even know it was in there.

Grats on the awesome find! I got screwed out of that steel too lol. And of course it's an amazing looking steel for a game I played a bunch. I'm going to be near a BB tonight. I know I'll never see it, but now I'll have the compulsive urge to check.

Easy pass at that price. Publishers have been slowly but steadily raising the prices of their CEs over the years and for the most part people have been buying. I think we are getting to the point now where people are getting fed up and will not be paying these ridiculous prices anymore.

Maybe some of these publishers will get their heads out of their asses and start offering simpler, more affordable CEs again. Steelbook, artbook, soundtrack, maybe one more unique item to the game. $20 to $30 over the base price.

I got the SNK 40th Anniversary Collection collector's edition yesterday. It's pretty well done. The hardcover book is short, but nice. The soundtrack is a double disc, and the inside of the box has a full color print which matches the exterior. I haven't opened the art cards, they'll probably stay wrapped indefinitely, but the rest is well done.

I also like the big FOR HYBRID DEVICE (RED) sticker on the shrink wrap.

Thank you for this. The unboxing vid showcased the items pretty well, but I just felt the helmet had plastic-y look to it. This cements my reasoning and glad I didn't bother getting one from the hype.
