Have you ever bought directly from NIS America? They have, from my experience, hands down the best packing and shipping of any company I’ve ever ordered a game or collectible item from.

i never got my pin ether its out of stock day game out i got email its sucks

Did anyone else who picked up the AC:O Dawn of the Creed CE find that attaching Bayek's accessories to be pretty annoying/difficult? I was afraid I was going to break something.

 
Not related to video games or collectors editions at all but since it was mentioned in previous posts, to those that ordered the on sale play arts kai figures from the square enix store, has anyone’s orders been shipped or at least gotten tracking numbers? My charge has been posted but nothing yet :/

my order from friday night shipped, I got tracking and will be delivered tomorrow

 
My NNK2 from Amazon UK arrived this afternoon, it is supposed to be April 5th. They use two boxes and some paper between them. The outside box is heavily damaged, the inner one looks fine.

 
My King's edition arrived quicker than I thought and in mint condition. 
Meanwhile, the Best Buy collectors edition has a crushed corner but regardless was going to return it anyways. I think I will wait for a price drop.

I ordered a figure at 9 am on Monday morning, and I got a shipping confirmation email on Tuesday at 1:30 pm. It's supposed to be delivered today!

 
Got my NNK 2 Kings Edition in today from Amazon. The outer box was absolutely destroyed. I wouldn't even call it a box as it was barely together. Luckily the Kings Edition was inside another box. Unfortunately the outside of this box had a gash in it and it went right into the bottom of the Kings Edition. The bottom Left Corner is destroyed and there is a hole. 

Just put in for a return / replacement and it gave me a shipping label so no cost out of pocket.

Have you actually mailed it back? The only reason I ask is that I've done Amazon.UK returns in the past and the label they send is just an unpaid return label. Once you get to the post office you will need to pay the postage. If something has changed recently and they are actually able to print a pre-paid return label, that would be awesome to know as the last time it took me almost an hour by chat to submit the postal receipt and get the credit applied to my account.

Well I got my PC Assassin's Creed Origins Dawn edition, and like other people on the thread, discovered there's no actual game voucher in there, it's automatically tied to your Ubisoft account? Well this is a bummer, as I had only bought it for the statue and extras, and was going to sell the code to recoup some of the cost (I already have the Xbox One Gold edition which I got for $30 at Target!)

So, is there any way to get this code to someone else? (I am not a PC gamer at all, I have zero clue about how this stuff works or Steam accounts etc).

 
GameStop has 25% off Collectibles if you spend over $100. I picked up the Trunks and Vegito Master Stars statues and the Star Wars Rebel Storm Trooper Maquette. The former two are very hard to obtain without resorting to Amazon 3P and Ebay and many of those sellers are peddling bootlegs.

I went to the Post office and shipping was going to be $85.08. I already got Amazon to ship me a replacement yesterday and expedite it by the 5th for me. This is already on the way to me with tracking so I was worried what would happen. I contacted support and told them of the crazy cost to ship it back. They asked for pictures of the damaged product, I sent them and they told me to keep it for free and hope the replacement arrives in much better shape.

Thanks for pointing this out, been eyeing some of those figures myself and wish I knew about the sale sooner. Now if some of them actually ship and what condition they'll be in is a whole other issue.

@usflegend - glad it worked out for you. Now you can mess around with the wrecked one however you want!
 
If you’re talking about the figure’s boxes, Gamestop actually packages fairly well, a lot of paper generally to limit movement in the box.
 
Got my NNK2 King's Edition from Amazon UK and while the box was destoryed... the CE itself only had a small dinged corner. Amazing how it's much so much better shape with my Namco Store order. 

Question for anyone who ordered the SAO Fatal Bullet Phantom Ed- is the game that's part of that edition the same as one you'd pick up at retail? I'm thinking about just dumping the game for now and picking up later.

Not pre-owned, but some of the stores will open several and display them (in locked glass cases). Having said that, I don't think I've received one ordered online that had the tape broken around the foam trays. Although I have done it, I'm always a bit leery of purchasing open statues only because employees have thrown away the inner wrap at times and I'm not sure how careful they are generally.

 
i bought a bishoujo statue at a clearance online. came in as opened. i see dust and dirt on the statue. definitely opened. possibly from the open box that was displayed in the store.

Ah, that's no good. I'd be more concerned with dust/dirt on resin than vinyl/PVC, but neither is ideal certainly. I haven't seen any Bishoujo stuff on Gamestop - just ArtFx - which did you get?

 
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Special Edition is available from Amazon's warehouse deals for $56 shipped. Here's the description, though:

Has anyone had experience with ordering from Amazon Warehouse? If it says there's large cosmetic damage, should I definitely expect that to be the case? Or is it one of those "situational" things?

Definitely situational, but returns are typically free or cheap. I purchased maybe 3 of these and all arrived in great condition. On the other hand I've received some AWD items with game cartridges missing or even fake amiibo figures.

Amazon seems to rush the review of returns. Best case you'll get an item that got dinged when it fell off the shelf. Worst case you'll get return fraud that you're checking for them.
 
The digital deluxe had an error on bb for a quick minute, looks like someone from marvel follows wario and caught it real quick tho

I wish Sony would've done something similar to the Last of Us SE and just included the full art book (I assume there will be one). These "mini" art book samplers make me wonder why they even bother. Another minimalist steelbook design, too. And a sticker?

These statues must really work for people since they seem to now be almost a requirement for a CE.

 
Chatting with some folks I know at gamestop, I found out the Ni No Kuni 2 CE is quite unpopular. Most stores are holding on a lot of stock, my closest having 9 on hand. Best Buy stores are restocking as well. Either this isn’t really a limited edition and the sticker is a lie, or no one wants to pay $200 ($160) for this.
