Ni No Kuni II CE from Bamco store with the exclusive map is 10% off, I think its safe to say this CE has went into free fall. Will probably be around $100 or lower in a few months

Every edition of this game has been on sale everywhere and this game launched a month or two ago.

That's a pretty cool Blazblue collectors edition and exactly how releases should be done.   That's something that would have sold for $120-150 at retail stores so you shouldn't feel bad about paying $99.99 direct from their store.  That's a good value with a nice assortment of components.  I like the figures and the steelbook. :)

Don't care for the statues but appreciate the effort and the game is likely ridiculous value. It was a touch decision but I went with switch because I'll likely want it on the go rather than in 4K or whatever PS4 will offer. Like that they call out the soundtrack at least has 12 tracks on it.

 
they just acrylic stands. not like actual figures like them toys. not exactly sure about the steelbook. if u click switch version and click on the steelbook pic, it says PS4 version. maybe they dont have switch steelbook case.

Yeah, not the best CE to me, especially when its store exclusive and I can't even get 20% off with GCU. And yeah, just acrylic stands, so plastic 2D stands, and not actually a figure. The last 2 came with mini-nendos. Not to mention the game's MSRP is $50, so you have to pay $50 for all the extras, and Gamestop Preorder bonus gives you a 7 track disc also. Plus, softcover artbook, when the previous BBCF CE was hardcover. Also, the last 2 CEs had better laminated cardboard boxes that opened up.

Even though this is the first Blazblue CE with a steelbook, it's also the first one to go over $90, and imo the value is disappointing.

Anyone seen the Dragon's Crown Pro Battle Hardened Edition steel case?  Curious if I should cancel the one I have on order and wait for a price drop.

 
So question: a friend of mine told me that if I pre-order ESO: Summerset CE for console from anywhere then I get ESO and ESO Morrowind for free. But I can't find that listed anywhere. If that's the case I'm definitely gonna jump on getting it but can't find that info anywhere

I think that's only for the digital CE. The physical CE you get the original game but not the Morrowind expansion.

Hmm that still doesn't sound awful. Do you know if that's via a digital code or does it come in game? Also if you've played before is Morrowind worth picking up as well. Never played ESO but with my friend encouraging me it just seems like a good time to get into it
 
That $16.90 include taxes? If so then is that really that bad?
Still, probably worth holding off till its available elsewhere.

If that is what everyone will be selling it for then I'll stick with the standard edition for $23.99. No way that extra stuff is worth 50 plus dollars. Only thing that may change my mind will be if Best Buy gets it - but I really doubt that will happen.

My understanding of what you get with the physical CE is that it comes with a disc that contains the base game and a download card that unlocks the Summerset expansion. I'm not 100% sure on this because I haven't seen an unboxing yet, but that is how it was with the Morrowind expansion physical CE which I did purchase and play.

Morrowind is worth picking up if you enjoy the base game. It's not too different from the rest of the game in how it plays but you do get a new class and a new PvP mode. The additional explorable area in the expansion is quite limited compared to the base game though so I would definitely recommend not paying full price for the expansion.

Yup, but it's more like $100 ($99.88 after shipping) versus $24. It's not even a nice CE either; it's all papers, coins, and stickers again.

Yes this is correct its part of the pre-order bonuses. It includes the base game no matter when you order and Morrowind if you pre-order.

I know, seriously? Atlus has had steelbooks before, not sure why they couldn't use another one for this game. Could be because of all the embossing, but steelbooks can be embossed too.

Nevertheless, it still looks pretty cool to me! Well, except for that spine.....

Honestly, digital collectors would be the way to go if you're jumping in. This kind of games is just made to be digital, you'll load it up often and randomly and it will always be ready to go. There are no physical editions of Morrowind or Summerset, so the base game is all you'd ever have on disc if you're worried about collecting. Plus its an MMO with ever changing patches so that disc of the base game is also useless. Not to mention that the game will one day be unplayable when the servers shut down so a physical copy means even less.

If Morrowind does come with the digital collector and not the normal thats even more of a reason to choose digital. No reason to pass on that additional content for essentially free.

Its a fun game that I go back to frequently in between noteworthy releases throughout the year.

So the Owlboy CE went up on Amazon early this morning - maybe around 3AM (my order was at 3:30AM EST).  They were $69.99 for each version.  Noticed it while I had some downtime at work.  Would have posted it on here except CAG is blocked from work.  I figured I would put in an order for each one in case I regretted passing on it later.  Knowing that Amazon allows easy cancellations, figured it was a good insurance policy if I had second thoughts.  Well I checked a couple hours later and they were sold out.  So, really not sure if they were only up for a very limited time or if they will get more and put them back on sale.

Those were limited to 6000 copies for each platform worldwide. I highly doubt they’ll come back in stock.

Hope you don’t care about the outer box getting crushed and/or get extremely lucky with Amazon shipping.
