Anyone know when these come out? I thought the release date was September? But I see people already having theirs shipped.

I honestly think because of how limited it is and the fact that it’s a PS4 pro I got all the scalpers out and people who wanted to upgrade finally jump in for a pro
 
Standard black edition PS4 works for me. Was happily world questing away in WoW last night, oblivious to people being swindled and thinking they missed out.

 
sneaker bots were monitoring for the ps4's it seems, you were almost completely SOL unless you were there the second things went live

I get it, I just feel if sony never said "50,000" were being produced, it wouldn't sell out this fast. Seems a lot of them are scalpers and not people who actually want it. I tried to get one, didn't. Not the end of the world though.

Announcing how limited it is definitely brought scalpers in droves. I was trying to buy a 2000 unit Funko pop last night at hot topic, site crash and burned, now all I see on twitter are sneakerheads bragging that their bot 'copped' 20 of them at once

I just don’t get why people say this. Do people give massages to their consoles? Who cares if it’s glossy and a “fingerprint magnet”? No one should be touching the console except for the power and eject button.
 
Been trying for weeks to get the Spider-Man CE on BBY. When it has popped up, I typically get it added to cart but then get the yellow, no-longer-available for shipping notice, followed by the red out-of-stock notice. For those who have had success, do you just keep pressing the yellow checkout button and hope for the best? Any other tips?

And is it worthwhile to leave it in the cart after getting the out-of-stock notice, or do I need to start all over again? Have these in cart now, but, if I go to another browser, the product page is back to coming soon.

I was there live for every retailer website with three devices.. iPhone, iPad and a desktop. They never really went live except for apps or bots.

Only listing I was able to purchase (and didn’t) was the scammy GameStop $750 bundle.

I think this console is pretty cool. I prefer black for my consoles, but I also prefer glossy and the traditional PS4 pro color scheme doesn't really do it for me. I don't collect consoles either, and didn't have a Pro, so I decided to plunge on this one. I just think it's cool, even though I'm not a huge fan of the color blue on consoles, it's not "blue blue" it's like futuristic translucent blue. I think it's pretty cool.

FINALLY got one! Going to answer my own question for anyone else trying--I left the item in cart after getting the out-of-stock notice and basically continued pressing the checkout button for the better part of an hour. Then there was a longer-than-usual loading icon, at which point the site made me sign in again. Other times when I did this, everything was automatically removed from my cart; but today, I actually made to the "Place Your order" page.

 
The classic systems from nintendo are being reproduced and ebay listings have dropped dramatically. I think owing this console Color and limited edition, as it's not going to be reproduced. At least not in the same variant.

You still have to unbox it, and set it up. Even wiping those fingerprints off with a microfiber cloth is going to leave micro scratches on a glossy finish. Most wont see it, but they're there.

They all went live my guy. I got mine at Amazon, had Gamestop in cart non-bundle, had Walmart in cart non-bundle

It's all a matter of preference but this is my favorite LE PS4 that Sony has come up with in terms of looks.

Other than the nostalgia factor, I personally wasn't a fan of the 20th anniversary ones. Didn't like the color scheme on my PS1 all those years ago either TBH.

That's why you never remove the protective plastic on the top and bottom. Only the sides front and back.

If they are indeed just "micro scratches", they wouldn't bother most people I would think. At least not me I can say.
 
I got the controller and am really tempted to get the headset too buuuut i dunno if i should just get the regular since its 20 bucks cheaper right now...

I'm having a similar debate with the controller. It looks nice, but do I really want to spend $65 when a bunch of the colors are $46 on Amazon

Yeah this one is (probably?) limited and is my favorite looking one so I jumped on it, but it doesn't have any special features so if you're interested in literally any other color you might as well get that instead!

The headphones are also sooo good looking but I can probably get a similar quality one for half the price on sale.

Ultimately, IMO, not worth it. Not only is this CAG, but you could put that $18 towards anything else and your experience wouldn't be any different.

 
Wish they wouldn’t announce how limited they would be but at the same time they have to or are required to. Why’d it have to be online only ughhhhhhhh

Idk if they HAVE to say there’s only 50,000. I guess since they’re numbering it makes sense, but like spider-man one says “limited” and there’s no official number for that one
 
Sorry to derail this riveting ugly console pre-order excitement, but I got my store pre-orders in for the Metro Exodus Aurora edition and Sekiro CE at gamestop today and they are both only $5 down.  I put $10 on each, but still got the Hitman 2 CE to pay off before the year is up.

You get a Sekiro poster for in store pre-orders. Both sides are nice, but doubt I'll really use it.

 
BB order shipped as well. My story is that i added it via app and checked out on laptop before Wario64 and CAG tweeted it. I actually got two orders in, as I knew my friend would fail.
 
See now I actually do wonder how many Spider Man Pros are there. Is it that much more made compared to the 500 million edition? Interesting that theres 5X more 500 million Pro consoles on Ebay vs Spiderman.
 
It's crazy how Sony cleared out all their stock of Pros at the various retailers, next they put all of their production into the new 500mil LE and blitzkrieg sold them all, and now the way is paved and clear for Sony to do whatever they want with new PS4 bundles for the holidays.  Aside from the 500mil, nearly every other LE model has been readily available at retailers on launch day, and then gone shortly after that.  They seem to be managing their stock quite well. 

100% sell-through and you don't even really hear much about the stock shortages.  Everybody has PS4s now and they just got everyone to buy into their latest LE models again.

My GameStop order for the headset bundle just shipped. Tracking shows 18.4 lbs, so it looks like both console and headset in same box

My BB order just shipped via UPS from Louisville, KY. 17.20 lbs. Just wondering if your gamestop order was also shipped from the same place?
