Best Buy holds some blame, especially since people who ordered later than others got their items first. I had ordered in April on the 4th and people who put in orders during July got theirs last Friday. I didn't get mine until yesterday and it was fucked.

 
For those who have the game is all the season pass content available already or will it trickle out? That’s one of the reasons I usually stay away from season pass versions of games unless it comes bundled in an LE or SE, because when I move onto a new game, I usually don’t like to go back to a game a month or two later just to play an hour or two of extra content.
 
I got my Tomb Raider UE. So not only did my statue come in broken, but they sent me the Xbox One version instead of the PS4 version so I can't play it :/

That LE is dead to me, I've lost total interest in it, and IMO the game was a major disappointment. Not sure why it got such good reviews, compared to some many games of its type of genre these days it pales greatly in comparison.

It's fucking dumb. Like take for example, Bloodborne Special Edition. PERFECT edition right there, with a Steelbook and artbook in a box. Europe got a Spider-Man Special Edition with the Steelbook and artbook from the Collector's Edition, but the US didn't get that shit. Blows my mind.

 
Well, you guys know the answer to the question, right? If you want big bloated CEs to stop, you gotta stop buying them. Not you you, the general public. Almost all of Square's Exclusive CEs sell out. So they have no incentive to stop doing them, they are making money hand over fist. These CEs probably cost them very little to make.

I have high hopes that a sequel of the game will correct some of the nuances in the first. As for the LE, its a bit late -- game was already released and also on sale both physically and digitally. They should of partnered with a Limited game release company to push this out rather than selling it through Retail.

Last one (excluding Spider-Man because that shit arrived busted to all hell) was God of War. I have stopped buying them going forward though, with the hopes that Publishers take notice.

 
I was really looking forward to playing tomb raider tonight. This sucks.
Feel worse for you guys with jacked up UE versions though.
 
Just now got the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Special Edition in my cart at Best Buy, but it won't let me checkout. I will keep hitting that checkout button till it hopefully happens.

 
What is the difference between the Gold & Ultimate editions for Assassin's Creed Odyssey on PSN? Was only planning on picking up the base game but now the season pass with AC3 & Liberation has me interested. Is the physical Gold Steelbook edition equivalent to the digital Gold or Ultimate?

I've been doing this almost everyday since it appeared, with no luck and my gcu ending tomorrow. Sometimes it'll let me get past the cart and into checkout, but only for store pickup and I can never find the zipcode that might have it. If it ever does allow me to choose shipping as an option in the actual checkout, then if I try it the game gets removed from my cart and I have to repeat the process all over hoping for the pre-order button to show up again.

Damn, that sucks. It never showed add to cart for me until today and I was hopeful I was getting somewhere.

Wait wtf, the $110 gold edition doesn't come with the deluxe pack too? Lmao nevermind, I'll wait until $30 at Target.

Edit: I guess most of the deluxe stuff doesn't make a big difference in the long run, it just seems scummy though.

I just don't understand how the deluxe pack could possibly be worth $20. It appears to be cosmetics and maybe a couple (temp?) boosts

 
Ubisoft is like the shittiest publisher out there. They recycle 1/2 the assets of their previous title in their "new" games as they come out and then re-charge top dollar for them. The only thing worse is the Destiny shit.

Wait so without the season pass I won't get the whole story? Already don't care for assassin's Creed anymore but dlc is supposed to be extra missions that isn't needed for the story, not the other way around.
