Yeah, I laughed about it when I got the email too. These seem to be hitting every snag possible since it's their first release in the limited edition line. Limited Run games had these problems in the beginning too in other countries, but they have had them sorted out for years now.

I would assume the figure diorama is the key price point there, FWIW I've heard pretty good things about the statue/figures bandai has been putting out lately, probably helps that they come from a spot where they have been making them for awhile for their various properties outside of just making one off videogame bonuses

I actually still have an order for the CE with Best Buy too. Just got the update the other day that the release date changed to 10/19. Mines a CC order, so I guess his being PP isn't the reason his order is still around.

Is your order a store pickup order or shipping order? When the mass cancellation went down I believe I heard that store pickup orders were safe but all shipping orders were cancelled.

Did you also get quoted a price of around 69 pounds? I'm also considering cancelling mine as well since the shipping is so outrageously high.

It really was a dick move if they're not planning on releasing it in the US as well but I'm somehow not surprised. Even though I dont really need another pro, why wouldn't they release it to the rabid fan base in the states? Blows my mind.

I don't believe they've said either way at this point. People are just assuming because pre-orders came and went on the Japanese version. I fully expect that it will at least be available as a Gamestop exclusive as there is clearly demand for it.

 
The only reason I'm still getting the US Tales CE is so I retain my complete set of US Tales CE's. But if the European one goes on Amazon for a good price, I'll happily cancel my US CE for the European one.

 
decided to cancel my Valkyria 4 memoris of battle order since my backlog is still too large, we'll see if amazon even cancels it before shipping, lately I've had 0 luck at getting things cancelled  guess they are just hoping people will say fuck it and not deal with a return

In other news I still have like fifty copies of the persona dancing collection at $60 in, if they ship and someone wants it cheap I'll be happy to oblige
 
I placed two orders for the $60 glitch. One had 2 copies in it, they reduced it down to 1 copy and kept both orders open. Kinda silly but hey, 2 copies for $60 each is still great for me.

Wow, that’s pretty crazy, especially if Amazon credits you... If you do get them, though, I’d be glad to purchase a copy since I missed out by a few hours.
 
Square finally got back with me on my Tomb Raider CE.  They sent a shipping label for the steelbook for 1lb and didn't mention the statue.  Good thing I am happy with how the glue worked and it was just the bow.

You're trying too hard to rip off Amazon. Just buy from Amazon Warehouse, take whatever you want from what you bought, and send it back If you feel any guilt about it just remind yourself, "Bezos is worth 150 billion."

Another one of my favorites is the old fashioned switch a roo. Buy item from Amazon, replace it with your old broken one. By the NINE GODS YOUR ITEM HAS FIXED ITSELF!

Saw a youtube video of someone with Forza Horizon 4 early. Glad to see the ultimate edition does have a steelbook.  Odd that no sites list it as a included though.

I don't get mad about wastes of space and oxygen, no. It's simply not worth the effort.

Just another reminder about what a great, stand-up guy you are when it comes to fleecing GS and Amazon and being ever so smart to not keep things to yourself when it would be best.

I'm sure there's plenty of other people that pull that kind of stuff, they're just smart enough to keep it to themselves. You should use that brain of yours for something other than balance weight for your feet, might do you some good.
