This is 100% not correct. There are some drivers that get into the $80K range in certain metro areas with OT. The typical driver doesn't make anything close to that. Moreover, during the holidays, UPS uses office staff and temps to assist with deliveries which is where many of these deliveries without signature seem to happen. In any event, there are dishonest UPS, FedEx and USPS delivery personnel just like there are in any profession. It doesn't change the fact that most are honest or that a signature won't protect you if someone with good feedback claims they didn't receive a package.

 
I feel we need to hear from a UPS driver to clear up this issue.

Also, I'd like for my mail carrier to learn how to close my mailbox.

 
Here in Northern California, my brother in-law makes $33.00 bucks an hour as an UPS driver but hes been with them for 10 plus years.

 
I see Bamco also has a LE for AC7, which also appears to be sold out.  :(

What's funny about the ToV LE for the Xbox is that it says Preorder (instead of wait list) but then when you go to check out it says OoS.

They were obviously responding to the part talking about long haul truck drivers. Not UPS.

UPS package drivers at least in NY make between $36-37 an hour and can easily make $100k a year due to the fact most work more then 8 hours a day. There is no typical 9-5 schedule for them and if 1 person has a bigger load then someone else or is not moving timely then another driver who may have a lighter load that is done can help to pick up the slack if necessary.

I think one of the reasons delivery companies like this (and the USPS) pay so well is to keep people honest - meaning they would have something good to lose if they do something to get fired. I think that's also the same reason that most of the news stories I've read about drivers stealing packages have been with Amazon's own delivery service - kind of hinting, to me anyway, that Amazon doesn't pay them that well, and they don't give a shit.

I learned about the AC7 LE it late as well but honestly it's so overpriced I don't mind. Just with steelbooks weren't being held hostage in these more obscure LEs.

I agree. I’ve been wanting to get my hands on the God of War steelbook yet don’t want to double dip since I own the LE GoW console. Even when the CE dropped to $60 recently, I just can’t do it. Don’t need the statue or the extra copy of the game.

This is the last thing I should be buying - but it looks awesome and way better than the other one while being $25 cheaper than the bandai store one that I previously cancelled, so THANK YOU!

Switch one was unfortunately sold out already by the time I clicked the link but I got in an order for the Xbox version.

(Was $81 shipped for me not $75, but still a good deal!)

Thanks, I got in an order for the PS4 version. It'd be even sweeter if the European version ends up having a separate trophy list.

Steelbook maybe, if you're a collector. Judging from past posters like that I'd say definitely not worth it fOR KH3 if you can get an actual discount.

Just got an email from Bethesda regarding my Canvas Bag replacement.  I have been approved to receive my new canvas bag once it has been manufactured.  I must wait 4-6 months for manufacturing and delivery.

...I'll probably forget about it by then.

I think ebgames Australia exclusively had the spyro reignited steel, too. Im wondering if anyone knows of a way to get these shipped over. I'm sure some aussie collectors would like to know the same for u.s. exclusives. Otherwise your relegated to high markup prices on ebay.

A few tips from my time of Steelbook collecting in another life:

-Use the forums at collectorsedition.org for group buys and general information.

-Many regional retailers will ship worldwide, so keep track of which ones do.

-When looking for a regional exclusive, go to that region's eBay. Many, many sellers don't set up listings with worldwide shipping, but many of those are willing to do it if you just send them a nice message asking about it before you bid. This allows you to only compete with other people from the region where it was actually available, and it is therefore much less desirable and expensive.

I got a Xenoblade Chronicles steelbook from France that way for $35 when US listings would usually go in the $80-$100.

 
Seriously debating canceling my Resident Evil 2 CE. I just can't justify paying $200 for very little unless the statue is really good quality.

Did you get an option to pick USD or EUR? Mine just seemed to go through with EUR, which is what I'd prefer, but I thought there'd be an option during checkout like when I've ordered from Amazon Japan
