now im torn.. should i cancel my zavvi order and buy another raiden limited edition figure separately?

the UK limited edition is limited to 10,000? right? but theres another figure thats limited to 1,000, and the color is black/orange. i guess its the inferno armor figure.

oh and i read comments on some european gaming sites a while back. most of the people wanted the lamp more than the figure. its pretty funny lol

The red/black figure is selling out. I'm not sure what stores are selling it, but on Big Bad Toy Store it's sold out. I pre-ordered mine the day it became available.

The European LE with the white Raiden is limited to 25,000 pieces. The figure is also available in Japan so I'm not sure what the final production total is though, but I can't imagine it's much more.

I double-checked and thankfully they didn't add the game to my order, though my steelbook's price is 15.60 EUR instead of 20.99 EUR (I guess it was on sale when I preordered it?).

EDIT: It's a good thing they didn't bundle the game with it, because I just checked my email and there's a shipping confirmation for the steelbook. :lol:

FYI, songbird is still up for :360: at GS, OOS for :ps3: and :pc:

Also just notice a Denmark seller moved three of those on eBay for less than MSRP, don't know how he manages to profit on that.
 
I waited far too long to preorder the Songbird edition. I planned on getting it from Best Buy till I saw they were sold out. I went with Gamestop simply because they were the only one left with preorders for the 360. I've been beating myself up about it. I know I shouldn't drop $150+ on a game, but ah what the hell. It's just money, I'll make more!!! What the hell am I working for? My fiance rules btw. She told me to get it :D
If you want the Songbird edition...get it now from GS. There can't be many left.
 
I'm trying to pre order Naruto from club namco but wondering if anyone has any free shipping codes. I wasn't able to find one
 
Don't know if this was mentioned already, but I noticed Bioshock Infinite Ultimate Songbird Edition was available for 360 only on gamestop.com. Called in store, and the manager said it was online only.

You know, I would preorder the :360: now,
(1) You might get a 360 when BF comes post 720 announcement
(2) The statue is display friendly, so just swap out the game if you do not insist on keeping it sealed.
 
^Hmm...Decision time: Should I preorder that at BBY for the $20 in RZ points even though I've only beaten GoW1 (own the Saga and already DLed Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta)? Will there be single-player DLC (which would justify the season pass in my eyes)? Where would I put that statue?

Yes, announced today. I just put in my pre-order. Steelbook for 60 MSRP and the exclusive DLC sealed it for me. We'll see if they announce a PS4 version, otherwise I'm probably keeping this pre-order.

Nope. Only the DLC is Gamestop exclusive. The steelbook and other content is available at all retailers offering preorders.

I just can't decide whether to get it or not, only thing that interests me is the season pass, and I doubt I'll even be playing the game THAT long.

The wording makes it seem that the steelbook is pre-order/limited exclusive (a la Dragon Age 2 Signature Edition) and the DLC is the only actual gamestop exclusive part.

It's definitely priced right. I'm not a huge fan of the steelbook design, either. It has the same minimalist design that the Uncharted 3 steelbook had. I prefer the art on the standard edition, although I guess the CE still has that artwork even larger on the outer box.

Correct. They even separated the two things in the press release and GS is not claiming anything but the DLC is exclusive on their website.

I just realized I had forgot that the new GOW was going to have multiplayer. Which IMO is a epic fail for a franchise that is highy praised for its single player campaign.

I just can't believe they will use seasons passes like they do in new FPS games. So you'll basically be paying subscriptions fees to play online?

If I ever have to pay any kind of a ongoing fee to play a game it's going to be world of warcraft.
 
It's just buying DLC ahead of time for a discount. I don't see why people complain about these things. Many games have been releasing multiple dlc packs for years now. It's nice to know about it upfront, and be able to get them day 1 at a discount. The season pass trend is actually a good thing.
 
i wish they would release some actual gameplay of beyond two souls, because if it plays like heavy rain. I will pass. I am very interested in this game beyond, and remember me

For me I wish there was a discounted season pass for just Single Player DLC.
 
I would love to see a tracking thing graphic prices on collector's editions on Amazon, so I could see how often they drop and how often they become unavailable on Amazon. Is there a site with this? The price tracker doesn't consistently have all the collector's editions separated out.

I was able to pre order The Last Of Us survival edition and Dead Island Riptide Rigomor Mortis editon today in store. Just looked them up under the kiosk the only thing that worries me is that the receipt didn't say the games were part if the victory can be pre order program. I know we can still get the points for the limited/collectors edition, but I hope I doesnt cause any issues.

I've had this preordered for a while now. Thanks for the video.

Too bad it doesn't come with a normal case as well as a steelbook, but I guess that's pretty typical. I just like getting normal plastic cases so they don't stand out in my collection.

It's only 600 PUR points which is worth far less than $3. The point is that Best Buy, Amazon, Target and many other retailers where people may have reasons to preorder are also going to give the same bonus less the DLC.

From everything I understand, the multiplayer is pretty solid. Though I do understand the trend with some of these single player only games, popping up with Multiplayer. I might try to give that and Tomb Raider's a shot though.
