That Assassin's Creed statue is huge! Especially for something packed in a video game. Didn't they do this last time too? As in; announced it first for other regions, then announce a US version? Pretty safe to say we're gonna get a version with a statue as well (Tomb Raider's CE was also like that, announced everywhere else and then a few days later the US got announced).

I hope we get the one in the Buccaneer edition, it doesn't have the ship's hull, so it looks way better.

Yes, we did get a CE of Assasin's Creed last time, but they waited a really long time to announce it. It was literally months after the Euro announcements. They also clouded things with their own store version and a Gamestop edition.
 
As Cartman would say, the Black Chest edition is definitely tits.

The jumbo Steelbook kind of reminds of the Prey CE tin from the outside.

IMHO, Ubisoft is committing a cardinal sin by not including the Steelbook in the larger CEs.
 
It looks like, for now, the super badass CE is the only one with a steelbook. I hate jumbo tins, does not fit well with my display setup.

I'm thinking perhaps $200+ for this thing, I don't see it up on the uplay site yet.

The Skull Edition also has the steelbook. Also, these editions have only been announced for EMEA, so you won't see any on the NA uPlay site until/unless it's announced for us too.

The problem with preys tin was that it came with the game in a paper sleeve. Hopefully the jumbo tin will be hollow enough to house the whole game box.

Hmmm....I thought the Prey tin had a nub for the disc (like the Halo 3 tin). It's been so long since I've opened mine that I can't remember.

So according to testyourmight, the Injustice Battle Edition is close to being sold out.

Now I was planning to cancel my preorder of that edition since I'm importing the UK CE, but this info changes things now...

But I feel like they're going to sell the stick separately. I remember the tournament edition was claimed to be limited, but then the fight stick could also be purchased separately without the game... Hmmm

Ugh, still cant decide if I want it or not. Still have a self modded brawl stick and an MK9 stick I hardly use.

If the parts were decent I'd have ordered already

How much is it to preorder anyway? 5$ or more. Pretty sure I'm moving the same week as release anyway

Yea I bought the MK9 tournament stick and I eventually sold it since I never used it. I guess I'm cancelling my battle edition preorder.

No point in keeping it since I know I won't use it.

IMO, I think a fight stick will be infinitely more useful for Injustice than MK9. Injustice uses 6 attack buttons as opposed to four and there's an option to use Street Fighter style inputs. That stick was cool but the button layout just wasn't designed for a modern game. You might know this if you read fighting sites, but this is just a PSA of sorts.
 
Still, if you want a stick for a fighting game like this you are better off just buying Injustice somewhere, and paying an extra 10-20$ to get a top quality one. (Considering your basically paying 90$ for the Stick in the Battle Edition)

Did they specify what's in the stick and is that deemed not of any quality? I can't tell the difference and I don't need to, so that particular doesn't matter to me.
 
We just know its made by PDP, who isnt know for making a good stick. And the parts are likely low quality.

If your buying it for a collectable, then thats cool. But if your actually planning on learning to play with it and use it, you'll just be handicapping yourself for no reason. (When you can pay the same price for better)

Doesn't come with a hard case, it'll be a drawstring pouch. Per Amazon's description:

i preordered the last of us survival edition and dead island rigor mortis edition. i still need to pick up tomb raider CE, metal gear rising CE, aliens colonial marines CE, bioshock infinite songbird, and catherine CE, mk9 KE and ac3 CE.

i have an interest in them. im not really a collector. the only CEs i have are uncharted 3, resident vil 5, and persona 4 golden. i just think the collectors editions are cool as hell so they are worth extra.

Anyway quick update... The Skull Edition is up for preorder on Amazon UK and is currently 'importable' to the US. Converts to about $90 USD. (Haven't noticed any others up just yet.)

Are you sure it is improtable to the U.S.?

I was able to successfully purchase the Zombie Bait Edition earlier this week but I get the following error with the AC Skull Edition:

This item cannot be shipped to the address you selected. (Learn more.) You may either change the shipping address or remove the item by clicking Delete.

I was able to yesterday when I posted it. I am sure that come closer to release it will be importable again. Just like Injustice took a while etc,etc...
 
Amazon Italy has posted their exclusive version of The Last of Us for preorder. This version looks to be the Ellie Edition plus the metal water bottle and a PS3 skin. Converts to $117 USD.
