Mugen Souls (PS3) has been delayed till October 16. Now I might have the chance to buy it since it's not int he same month as Dead Or Alive 5 and Borderland 2.
 
Atlus announced the Persona 4 Golden "Solid Gold Premium Edition" $70 & Limited to 10,000:

I cant seem to find anywhere that has it up for order yet. $30 for stickers, pouch & a case seems kinda lame, but ill still get it for the collection.
 
Gah, of course a LE for P4G gets announced when I ordered from Newegg w/ a $10 off code for just the game. Well, hopefully they'll carry it & have another code I can use.
 
Amazon is taking pre-orders for Assassin's Creed III + SteelBook again. Either people are canceling their orders or Amazon is really good at getting more SteelBooks. Any ways, order now while you have the chance, again.

It never was. You're probably referring to the original image I posted. That one only had GS branding because it listed the GS exclusive bonus content.
 
Looks like Blops 2 is reverting to the 2-tier CEs. Only thing of real interest to me is Nuketown Zombies and the steelbook. No elite pass in either edition, so pony up peeps.

The Prestige Editions have been $150 in the past. I doubt $100 for the care package version. It looks really huge. If anything the Hardened may be priced at $100

You can buy flying saucers for $20 at most big box stores, but that's with one rotor not four so adjust accordingly. I also think this thing will chew through batteries like there's no tomorrow.

Supposedly it's 80/180 but I'll think of it as 80/clearance in a few weeks.
 
Wow $180 for the care package edition? They better announce later that it comes with a year of elite membership, or there is no way it is worth it. $100 for that remote controlled drone and a box is just ridiculous.
 
Yea, the price of the prestige is insane. Looks like retailers have the listing up on their sites now. Well BB and GS at least.
 
Just remember that Best Buy clearanced out the same type of package as the care package for either MW2 or Black Ops for $15 at some point in the past couple of years.

Very few "big box" CEs don't go down to cheap as they take up more and more space at retailers.

Recent ones:
Infamous 2 Hero Edition
Killzone 3 Helghast Edition
Skyrim CE
Uncharted CE

And so on.

Correct, although it maintained its price for a long time and you had to be extremely lucky to find one on clearance and even if you did, the chances are that the box was pretty banged up. I think this is overpriced, but I also don't see this one being easy to find on clearance, especially if they don't go crazy overproducing it.
 
This also seems to be bigger than any of the aforementioned CEs too. Amazon has it 24x12x11 (rounded for simpler figures) and at 9pounds... The question does boil down to: How many will be produced and stocked? That's pretty big (presumably because of the drone) for retailers to stock plenty of on hand. And big to produce itself.
 
Nobody is excited about the drone...? I see some stores sell the standard version of the drone in some high end malls, always wanted one...
 
The only thing I've liked from past Prestige editions were the night vision goggles. I didn't buy them, but those were the only ones that really ever had me interested. The video recorder car seemed cool too, but I just heard bad things about it (quality wise).

The money would be better saved up towards a real Parrot.AR, since I bet this is a $20 item to make and mark up 5-fold.

I thought it was just one of those really well made $100+ "official" ones they sell at the mall, but with a custom paint job.

While that's pretty awesome, I am still on the fence on this. I just don't know if I should spend the $120 on this. If it were $99.99 I probably wouldn't hesitate much, but spending $120 on the LE and then dropping another $40 (unless I get it at Amazon) for the LE guide for a "complete collection" I just don't know. :\

Maybe it'll be in Best Buy on clearance or overstock in like 6 months, like the usual other AC CEs have been.
 
It's getting a steelbook from Futureshop. It looks really nice, too. That's my favorite type of CE, so that'll do for me just fine!

Ugh. I really want it.. but ouch $150. That's almost all my GS credit. I do love the statue and metal case though. It's a very nice CE.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of Final Fantasy. And what better way to say Happy Anniversary than with a FF box set? That weighs 11 pounds? And costs US$445?
The box includes the PlayStation disc versions of all the numeric Final Fantasy games from FFI to FFXIII. It also comes with a Crystal ArtWorks art book, special music CDs, a movie showing 25 years of FF, among other goodies like a Moogle in-game earring for FFXIV.
The "Final Fantasy 25th Anniversary Ultimate Box" box will be out on December 18 and is priced at ¥35,000 ($445). Pre-orders end on September 30.
