I can confirm. I was one of those who received the $30 credit and mine came with everything except the game. Statue along with the styrofoam (with cutout) in a brown Capcom box that was then packaged inside a larger Amazon shipping box.
 
Just opened mines, it's worth the price I paid. Double discount & the $35 back. #Winning

eTank is very light, and I don't like the fact it has to be touch his leg to light up & plugged in. Happy with my purchase tho.

So i wanted to share this, like many other my mega man statue with game was stating it was shipping but never updated. i called Amazon and the lovely lady I talked to apologized for the issue and put me on hold. After a few mins she got back to me and let me know I would be getting a full refund for the entire purchase. Now again like many others I got the double discount but no 35 coupon of whatever people received. I explained to the customer service rep that I wanted the statue and I didn't want a refund, she then explained to me I would be getting everything I preordered plus the refund. Came home tonight from work to see the package waiting for me. I'm a happy camper.
 
Figured I would share this here since the guys who frequent this thread would be the only ones who could appreciate this.

So I went into the BBY near work to renew GCU.  While I was at the counter, I spotted a Witcher 3 PS4 CE sitting pretty in a corner with a few other CEs (Elder Scrolls Online, Watchdogs XB1) right by where they hold all the items for store pickups.  Luck was with me though since I decided to ask an associate if it was for store pickup or for sale.  The guy had to ask some others who were hanging around in the area and like 3 of them said it was store pickup, but one other person said its good for sale and that there were none of those pickup stickers on it.

The others all looked pretty disappointed as soon as that was brought and I was checked out right away.   Most surprisely was that despite it just sitting around, the box was near mint save for a little shelf-wear and a scratch on one side of the box sleeve.

All the contents were inside so I'm glad I decided to walk in yesterday of all days.  One question for those of you who have it, does the game not come plastic wrapped in the CE?

TL:DR - Walked in for GCU, walked out with Witcher 3 PS4 CE.

I snagged one HOPING that the boxes for the PS4 and XB1 are the same and I can just swap in my PS4 copy and have a complete CE, OR trade it.

If you watch this unboxing, the box looks like either copy of the game can fit into it. If that is the case, I might just swap in the Gold Edition of the game and slang the XB1 copy.

I ordered mine from Target a while ago. Albeit, all I had was the 5% Red Card for a discount, I think that the Game, Season Pass and Watch make it easier to justify.

I'm a sucker for Game Watches...I still have my Growlanser Generations Deluxe version sealed.

There was just nothing there to get me excited about it, so I had my moment of weakness last night and fixed it this morning.

I'm guessing you have 1 or more copies of Zero Escape 3 pre-ordered as well?

That's a really good idea, to buy the XB1 version now and then sell the game and swap in a PS4 copy if you really want the CE. I'm just not sure the cost of the CE + cost of the game swap is worth the hassle at this point. But you could probably sell the game for $40 and then buy it again.

Amazon cancelled my Zero Escape 3 preorder a while back with no email or anything, still salty about that I hope they come back for preorder soon

Only thing I am worried about is if there is an outer sleeve on the box. I doubt there will be one though.

Is OK game. Still too pricey for CE. I may waits for $20 or less on Reg. version :)

 
They cancelled all of our orders from the second listing from amazon.com, and then relisted it for sale under the primary listing.  Not that that makes it right, but that's what happened.

Also they did it because people were able to pre-order 2, 10, or even up to 99.  So they probably just mass stealth cancelled all orders to give people a fair chance in their mind.

Yes, but I had GCU so not really. The Witcher 3 CE's are sold out pretty much (sans resellers) everywhere, not sure why you would think they would get clearanced.

Just checked mine as well, it's the same. Also just got done chatting with a rep on the matter, basically was told here's $5 as compensation. Basically told them to stuff it and keep it, I didn't want it. I wasn't pissed that the item was canceled because they couldn't get more, it wasn't going to ruin my day not getting one. I was pissed how they handled it, that they did it after I was given a delivery date, after they put up more for sale not $40 minutes earlier.

The rep apologise but his hands were tied and ask to give the company another chance. I told him that I didn't blame him, it wasn't his individual fault I understand. It was the company and why should I give the company another chance when instances like this is becoming their standard?

I chatted with CS about why my order got canned and they were like,sorry it's outta stock your SOL..5 mins later "instock"...If I missed out I woulda been PISSED..I hope everyone who pre-ordered one got in on the restock..Pretty shady amazon..Still love you tho
 
Amazon's really been messing up on the ball lately, don't get what's up. I found out my Mega Man LC statue order got backordered, and I'm still waiting. They gave me the chance to do one day shipping on another order though. Any recommendations? I've been interested in getting Rayman Origins and Legends

On the other hand, Best Buy charged me for Twilight Princess HD w/ amiibo. Guess it's shipping soon.

Yea I gotta wait and see some unboxings closer to release to see how it actually looks before I go through all this hassle. This is one CE I am actually pissed I missed out on.

 
My card has been charged for the Fire Emblem SE and Amazon says it is shipping today. Wow a lot of you have a serious right to be pissed.

Maybe I should pre-order Braveky Second CE from Best Buy as a backup just in case? Amazon always cancelling damn CEs. I guess these assholes are going to ignore emails because everyone been blowing a gasket at them about it today. Corporate probably sent a memo to ignore everyone

What ticks me off more is not the cancellation, for me it was the sudden cancellation and not a single email or anything about it

I ordered only 1 and mine is cancelled. 1st time ever ordered LE item from amazon. Yay! After 15 minutes i got Free $10 Promo instead $5. Should call them early on the morning. I felt sorry about the girl andi wanted the item more than $5 promo. I don't take excuses show the problem and gimme free PROMO gift card.
