It's noted in both GS and Amazon listings, so I am assuming it's all launch editions and BBY is just being slow with their shit as usual.

The GS description for the bonus item specifically says "All launch copies of Valkyria Chronicles Remastered will come packaged in this limited edition metal case, making this a true collector's version."

I remember buying the PS3 version of this game as the last available copy at Toys R Us years ago. Not one I would have expected to get the Remaster treatment, but definitely glad they are doing it.

FYI to anyone who did in store pick up for the twilight princess guide during the 50% off promotion at GameStop, the register does not give the right price. I had to get the employee to manually adjust the price to the correct one.

hmmm, I'm hoping this is a sign of more or at least VC2 coming to the PS4 at some point. I never got around to playing it on the PSP but I do still have it sealed. I think I'll PO this anyways as it indicates there was DLC but I don't recall what it was. I just played the original years ago.

I checked my order and it says its OPEN. It says it will ship to your store and once delivered they will call you. So I guess im gonna wait

Same for me, except the employee couldn't adjust the price. I told him to cancel it and I just ordered it from Amazon, but it seems to be back-ordered. Oh well. Now I know why I avoid Gamestop if I can.

I still have orders that I cancelled listed as OPEN. I don't trust the online system for crap. I don't think I've ever gotten a notification for in store pick up, but I do always go in release date.

 
Kind of a jerk move to do but I decided to contact Amazon and ask why the Mega Man game never shipped with the statue. I never asked for a refund, but he automatically refunded me.

All of my store pick up orders, even ones that I picked up months ago, still say "open". Their system doesn't seem to be too reliable.

The same thing happened to me. I didn't notice the game was missing until I read your post. I got refunded, although I had them return it to my card (rather than an amazon gift card) kept the statue, and ordering the game from Bestbuy; it was oos on Amazon.

 
No Man's Sky Limited Edition (PS4) is available for pre-order at Best Buy again.

Well... I preordered the Zelda TP from Gamestop. I was in a rush since I need to get to work and didn't noticed that I wasn't given a soundtrack despite preordering the game. Well, I'm going back ASAP tomorrow.

If I don't get a copy, I'm going talk to a manager...

All an online preorder if you choose pick up in store does is send the store a copy for you, you have $0 down on it, and it will ring up for whatever the price is in store at that time. If you want the price that's on the website, you have to have the website ship the item (s) to you.

Got my $5 GC for my stealth evil canceled Fates at amazon, and bestbuy ebay finally just refunded my paypal for their never acknowledged fates order.  My lucky day I guess.

 
Amazon gave me another $5 in credit for cancelling my order. 

And I got my money back due to tracking and i looked up that guy and I'm pretty sure he posts in that NowInstock thread (they were openly talking about scamming people).

Out of the three places currently, BBY is the only one that doesn't have it in the description specifically, but if you look at the images, it shows the steelbook, so to answer your question *shrug*.

I think it's due to all the issues that they're refunding people, because on top of the delays and shipping issues, they sent 'an incomplete package' as they told me. But I don't get how or why they forgot to ship it, hmm. Though one guy here got his game as well and a refund, not sure why.

I'm doing the same, buying the game at BestBuy due to GCU but I'm thinking it may get a price drop so I might wait a little since I got the game on 3DS. The refund went to my card as well.

If it doesn't come with the SB, return it back to BBY and pick it up somewhere else like Amazon. It'll still be 20% off at day of release and up to two weeks past release.

That's the only reason I ordered one. I won't buy the game otherwise. I sent them an email about the cancellation and the lowest price guarantee so they shot me a 20 dollar credit for it.

Free shipping on $35 and up only for non elite members. They did change something though. The free shipping qualifications used to go by what the price was before GCU deducts the 20%, now the shipping qualifications are after GCU.

So if they have a game up for $36.99 for example, you won't get free release day delivery on pre-orders because GCU will take it under $35, but before it didn't use to be that way.

So after chatting with 3 different Amazon CS reps about the Homefront price error I decided to call and received a $30 certificate  :D/

 
Man I get legit screwed out of a copy of fire emblem fare SE by Amazon and all I get is $5 credit while people get $30 credit for a legitimate price mistake.
