One of those was given away at Major Nelson's panel on Saturday. Couldn't get a good look at it but it was REALLY shiny.

It was streamed on Twitch so maybe you can get a look at it on there.

The Gears of War co-op campaigns have all been pretty damn great, except for Judgment.  People Can Fly should have just done Bulletstorm 2 instead of cranking out an oddball Gears game.  I have no doubt Gears 4 will scratch that same itch and be a lot of fun to play through.  The multiplayer has been fucking garbage forever though.

I'd be shocked if this CE sells out and isn't discounted dramatically within 6 months of release.

 
Just got Stranger of Sword City LE in from Amazon. I wasn't expecting much but NISA packaging just gets cheaper and cheaper. The newest box is some weird fold-up thing and very flimsy. Definitely not worth it if it was not for the double prime discount error.

They've used it for another set before, and that one came out awhile ago, so it's definitely not the new norm, but just for some reason used intermittently for some sets.

They used the same packaging for Operation Abyss LE, and my copy also has the same crushed corners. =/

I'm sure the majority of the LEs will still be the short boxes, but for some reason they do this huge ones once it awhile, which is cool if only it'd arrive not beat up if not shipped by them directly.

It's annoying that you can't buy a LE version of Grand Kingdon for Vita on Amazon, but you can get a "Grand Edition" for the Vita on NISA.

The Gamestop exclusive (until Amazon starting selling them) Gentleman Claptrap version was widely produced. I think all three of my local Gamestops still have the original copy they received on the launch day. This is the lowest it has ever gone as far as I know. I think it was just a matter of hitting the market after demand was long gone and/or fully satisfied by the original version.

I've got some TC laying around, and since I don't have the game yet and I like that ClapTrap AND I like that SB case I'm interested. I just hope I can procrastinate long enough for it to go back up in price. :)

 
I just realize that the Gears 4 CE is almost identical to the UC4 CE content wise but the price is more than doubled. Wow.

Meh .. While 250 is too high, I wouldn't call the uncharted statue equal to the gears one. Gears one is like 12 high by 19 long. UC is 12 high but only a couple of inches high ... And one of the dumbest poses ever
 
I collect expensive Japanese figures all my life so I know how much a statue should cost and that Gears statue certainly way overpriced. And as for the season pass, it's terrible. All of the maps are free in rotation. All you are paying for is access to private matches which is limited to those you invite. You won't have that many people to play with. I think most would prefer to play with the rotated maps since that is where everyone is at.

No one is saying it's not overpriced, but it's a way better statue than the UC4 one. That's not even debatable.

The upcoming FF XV statue/action figure will be great quality, play arts kai has been really pumping out quality product recently. Also the Japanese Metal Gear Phantom Pain full size arm was great quality as well.

 
So in the time Bravely Second CE has been out has anyone received their codes from amazon? I have not and their support is fuck.

PAK figures haven't improved much but the prices continue to raise. They are good but I don't see $130 value they are offering per figure. The Lightning PAK was $40-50.

Nope. I kept complaining and complaining, they ended up giving me a $5 code and sending me another email telling me my issue wasnt specific enough. So the last time I contacted them I basically unloaded on the guy with links to pre-order info and past conversations. About an hour later they offered me to either return it, or keep it with like a 20% discount refunded.

Nice member here ended up giving me his code

So I spoke with Nintendos back office regarding Amazon.com's DLC for Bravely Second. They informed me that the CE was included in the preorder promotion and that only Amazon can provide us the DLC voucher for the preorder. I asked if they would be following up with Amazon on the issue and they are on top of it. What that means I don't know, but I hope it has a positive outcome for all of us CE purchasers.
 
I got a 5 dollar certificate from Amazon for the DLC debacle. They said the CE didn't count for the pre-order bonus. I don't really want to keep fighting it, but does anyone have a link or snapshot I can send them to prove it? Apparently showing them their own twitter feed doesn't count.
 
Customer service at Amazon is so spread out that it’s hard to find a rep that knows how to go about getting a code. Whenever I send an email request to Amazon about a missing code, I specifically request them to get a hold of somebody from their “promotions team” to look into the issue. Customer service themselves won’t be able to acquire a code but their promotions team will. At least for me, it’s worked in the past.

Been down that route multiple times, they're being as useful as a wet paper towel in a stone throwing contest.

I've talked with them multiple times, no luck. I did get a $20 offer as a discount to keep it in my DLC conversations, though they still owe it to me and they're still full of shit in not providing it. I think it may be time to go through the Amazon corp office route and stop dealing with useless peons.

Hmm, in that case I think you're shit out of luck. I've never been stonewalled beyond that point myself. Seems like a bigger problem that isn't going to resolved since you're one of many affected. It should be as simple as Amazon promotions team working with Nintendo's promotion team but since they are having issues getting the codes still I'm pessimistic anything gets resolved.

 
The problem I faced is that the promotions team stated the DLC only applied to the regular game. I'm done with it honestly. In the long run some costumes I missed out on are not going to kill me.

Honestly, I feel like this is an amazing gesture from them and they are going out of their way for us. Other companies would've ignored it and have done it in the past.

Atleast they acknowledged it, apologized, AND offered us something free in return. Most companies wouldn't even get past the apology step

Keep emailing/calling/chatting with their customer service until they offer you a 20% refund. Decline, say the typo was not mentioned on the product page and shouldn't be included with the collector's edition. Keep pushing and eventually you'll get it for free.

Lmao. Once I saw the response I got for just saying I'd rather have a partial refund instead of a sticker set, I laughed my ass off. For the past 5 or so pages, I see people complaining about a damn costume dlc that they didn't even pay for. I paid for a limited edition that was described as having green heart on the art book and I'm wrong. Smfh.

Just saying that it's crazy to ask for even the slightest amount of money back for a one word typo that isn't even in the game. I guess they could refund like an eigthth of a penny or something.

Plus, the Artbook description doesn't even list Greenheart as in the book. For all we know, Vert could've decided to change her name to Blackheart or something.

Lol. I wouldn't waste my time calling them for a refund but when they said they would compensate me, I just said I would rather have money back instead of a sticker set. I also mentioned that it was good that they were trying to compensate us. I just brought a relevant post to conversation about a "collectors edition" that people might have wanted to see. At least I'm not filling pages complaining about a FREE costume dlc.
