Anybody waiting to pull the trigger on the DOOM UAC Edition should know that stores are only getting 3-4 copies for each system. Fallout 4 Gold had a lot more copies at launch and got a restock because it came out during the holidays. I'm guessing this might not be plentiful enough to ever go on sale like Fallout did.

That video did nothing for me due to the quality & lack of good close ups, so I found a better video on YT. I'm torn. I adore Mirror's Edge and Catalyst was my most hyped game this year. The steelbook is sick and I like the art print, but the tattoos & art cards do nothing for me... Which leaves the statue.

After seeing it up close, young Faith definitely has some derp going on in the face, can't quite tell on Faith herself. That being said, the rest of the detailing on the piece looks really nice, it captures the clean simplistic look that ME is known for quite well. I'm realistic enough to know you shouldn't expect the extreme quality of a $200-300 statue in these mass produced CEs, but that face is bothering me. It's an extra $110 with Prime, which isn't too much, but I could buy another couple games with that money, and hope this CE tanks.

I can't imagine they produced an ungodly amount of these though... I mean it's ME, not Halo or Uncharted. Decisions, decisions...

King of Fighters just looks......terrible. The graphics seem so dated. They would have been better off keeping the style XIII had, and just improving gameplay

That can "almost" convince me. I was also thinking that I'd get at least 2-3 hours of enjoyment just looking at each character at least once. Wiggles is right though, I was pumped about a decent SB promotion but watched a trailer that looked pretty abysmal. I have no love for SFV (as an owner) but the production values are night and day there.

That's a pretty weak steelbook. They couldn't be bothered to come up with two different images and just put one on both sides? I am disappoint, to the extent I'm considering canceling my pre-order and going with the statue CE, since I am not a big fan of the Season PAss they are offering. Have we found out yet if that's getting the same steelbook, or if they are different?

I could totally see these money grubbers, after all the merchandising of the game, putting out a steelbook for each and every DLC released, haha. Good thing they didn't for the ones already out.

I'm torn as well. The concept picture of the statue looks a lot more like Faith than the actual product. I think I know the video you watched with all the close ups. Faith's face looks a bit different and the eyes are kinda weird too. I don't know if this CE is worth $160 IMO. I've had it preordered ever since it was available and can't wait to play the game but just don't know if I can justify it when the statue looks kinda meh.

The main reason I wanted this edition cause I liked the statue but if it's going to look kinda off I'm not too sure... like you decisions decisions

Without really caring much about the CE, from what I understand it's a variant statue with exclusive weapon that looked like a pike. Not 100% sure, but yeah I thought it was fairly funny too.

It's tough because the rest of the statue looks fantastic IMO, but faces are the one detail that can ruin the whole thing. If they just looked marginally better I'd still be in no question.

Order both, return UAC version if it it's the same SB.

 
You know the extra UCEs will be released at like 2:30 am on some random Tuesday morning. 

Still holding out that they'll give us an $80 LE No Man's Sky for PC. 

 
Why didn't they just put this figure up for PO like the rest until now? Whatever, wish Noctis sword was exclusive instead of the spear. I

Yes its a normal copy of the game and the steelbook in a cardboard box like Fallout 4 Gold.

Never mind what I said about the Uncharted 4 coins. My store now has 80+ which will cover preorders and then some. They are priced at $14.99 when not bundled with the game by the way.

Man, I want to buy CEs, but they constantly underwhelm for the price. I'd like to keep it to a steelbook and an artbook, I think. Statues aren't generally my bag (though the Revenant one intrigues me). I honestly can't think of a time I bought a CE that was more than a +$10 steelbook without being disappointed.
