EA missed an opportunity to do a CE involving "getting drafted".

The "Shit you got drafted addition" comes with an emaciated soldier's corpse that can lay on the ground. Miniaturized of course, like 1.5 feet by 9 inches and blown/shot up with bullets. Could be made of mostly rubber. Also comes with dog tags, I dont know, a bunch of stuff related to you not wanting to be at war

Preorder two Nintendo games off a specific list and you'd get it for free.

I ended up making the requisite pre-orders, ended up cancelling said pre-orders a week or so later and still ended up with the button set for free.

Yeah no, the shipping address for the CE and SE is correct (my new address). For some fucking reason they decided to to NOT ship it where everything else was going
 
Even though you "delete" it I'm pretty sure it still exists in their database somehow. I was asked to confirm my address and the address that showed up was one from over 3 years ago that I deleted.
 
I bought Splatoon on black friday apparently and some other garbage title during the year and was surprised when I got the Mario Maker button set in the mail one day.  Best Buy CS and rewards are the best.

There’s a chance you can still avoid the misdelivery.

If it’s sent by UPS, did you ever create a UPS MyChoice account? You can go online and change the destination to a nearby UPS store for pickup. Otherwise, you’d have to ask Best Buy customer service to contact UPS directly to have the item recalled.

If the final destination is fulfilled by the USPS (i.e. UPS Mail Innovations shipping service is used), the online change of address form you should have filled out by now should get your mail forwarded to your new address on file.

I moved over a year ago and it was a bitch getting all of my preorders from vendors like Target and TRU that would not be able to change my delivery address.

Hmm...yeah I ordered Super Mario Maker and TriForce Heroes in that window. Guess I'll contact them on the forums. Guess I should keep better track of preorder promos :D

It was a specific list of games you had to preorder from don't believe triforce was a qualifying title.

I'm pretty sure you were emailed a promo code that would make the item free. That's why it was so expensive ($100) to deter people who didn't earn it from just flat out buying it.

You didn't get an email saying it was automatically added to your order after they noticed it was missing? I did. Didn't do anything to contact them at all and they just did it.

 
I had some reward certificates so I cancelled my old order. They sent me a coin with my new order and added a coin to my old one that shipped without the game. If I was working in a warehouse I would be so confused that someone just ordered the coin.

I got an email saying my order was canceled when the coin was added, and they couldn't add a coin to a new order.

According to their Forum CS, after the promo was over they changed the rules so that you had to order two games on the same console, so Mario Maker & Triforce Heroes would not qualify.

Ah, that explains it. Very annoying as I own several other games on that list but probably didn't preorder them in that particular window.

 
Looks like the same art work is on the front and back of the Steelbook. Lazy. Wish he would've shown the inside artwork.

Statue looks better than I thought it would but still isn't worth the price.
 
I preordered Uncharted on targets website and got it Saturday. Been playing a few days. Haven't tried multiplayer yet. Assuming servers aren't up and too scared to get in trouble.

Glad I kept the bundle form BB, rather than going with the statue. It looks cool, except the face looks terrible. It's just got this really awkward look that makes it less of a menacing demon and more of a goofball. Kinda lame, though not surprising. I want the game to sell really well, but I also kind of hope this thing was overproduced and it hits $60-80 sometime, because I'd pick it up for the second (lazy) steelbook and the statue at that price.

Agreed, the steelbooks are both VERY lazy. Even having the same two images, but differing front and back would have been less lazy. Given how many demons and lithographs and other things they could have used, IDK why they had to be so uninspired. Then again, it's Bethesda, which has turned into the undisputed king of lazy merchandising.

I'm thinking that the BB bundle is the way to go versus the CE. At least we know the SBs look different with this one being the Revenant and the UAC bundle being the Doom Trooper.

I'm cancelling my CE pre-order before it ships out and see about picking it up later on the cheaper from BB.

Yeah, I say back and waited forever to make my pre-order, and I'm glad I did. They announced the bundle really late. What sucks is my dad did his pre-order on 4/24, and it has shipped. However, mine, which I did on 4/30, has not. He might get his early, or they're doing slow shipping for him and 2-day for me (though they were ordered on the same account).

I lucked out in cancelling my CE last night, since I had made the order for that on the same day I did the UAC bundle, which was on 04/11. My UAC bundle is now in Preparing For Shipping, which means I may get it on Thursday if it ships out today, since I usually get my BB stuff two days after shipment.

I got a delay e-mail from Bestbuy.com or my CE saying it would be delivered by June 2nd. Seems kind of ridiculous considering it's still in stock for immediate shipment from Bestbuy.com.

The delay emails are never accurate. I guarantee you'll receive it way sooner than that (like within a week at the latest).
 
Picked up my special edition of Uncharted 4 this morning and received the bonus coin as well.  For some reason, I thought it was only for the collector's edition.

Maybe if the Xbox one CE was widely available. It sold out in less day than one day though so it doesn't make sense to exclude Xbox one from this. We don't want the ps4 version of the DLC it's useless to us.
