^ Pretty much what everyone else said about Secret of Mana. It was one of my favorites when I was younger, played through it at least 3-4 times and always maxed everyone's skills with every magic and every weapon type. Why? I have no idea, pretty much just spammed magic attacks with the sprite using visual cues from the casting animation to know when I could cast the spell again even before the first cast was finished, so the boss would die without really getting to act. But if I wanted that sprite to use a boomerang instead and have the fight take 50x as long, well, she was ready!

I was ready to spend more money to play the same game again (...), but to me going from some great sprite graphics to these generic PS2 era/mobile game graphics is such a downer. They would have gotten me had they made an English CE however.

 
Amazon JP - Bayonetta 1+2 "Non-Stop Climax Edition" exclusively for Switch. Features steelbook case, art cards, & I think stickers. 2nd known game to have a steel case on the Switch console, not pre-orderable yet. Instant buy from me, can't wait for a Bayonetta 3 CE.

Anyone know if this game will have english audio/menus? If it does, I will be getting it for sure. To add to that we all know we won't get this in the US. Europe will get it, just like they got one for Bayo 1 and 2 on the wii u.

Yeah, having a digital download code is a HUGE disappointment honestly. If your going to offer a cool set like this, go the whole 9 yards, and offer both games physical. I swear, for every step forward "N" makes, it's always at least a double step back(if not more).

Yea, but you just know the US version will be made with recycled Big Macs and will only come with 60% of Bayonetta 1, 2.

The other 40% of the game simply won't be included.

Aren't we being optimistic? We lucky that we are even getting the games in any shape or form. NOA always knows how screws us over. I sure this will be a repeat of Bayo 1+2 Wii u release.

Zero interest in Sea of Thieves, but that controller is cool.  Now, if only there were any games on the horizon for Xbox One that looked interesting.......

To my knowledge, B1 was the same as previous versions, with "N" content added(costumes and shit). B2 was Wii U exclusive, so there was no content to cut, as it was made for that system.

B1 was probably the best version released at the time, but some still preferred the 360 version. The 360 had better colors if I remember right, but the Wii U game fixed some technical issues and added more content.

So technically, B1 & 2 where pretty great games, just released in the worst place possible for actually selling them to the masses. I'm sure all versions will do much better on the NS including 3..

What is the best way to keep track of when pre-orders open for this? I REALLY want this one and both nowinstock doesn't have it listed and zoolert doesn't cover jp. Any advise would be greatly appreciated!

 
So the JP version is the only one coming with both games physical? I love Bayonetta but digital reeeally makes me sad.

Also ~$174 seems a little much...

Well this is a pickle.
I have Bayo 1, and Bayo 2 on WiiU (with Bayo 1). I absolutely love that CE, but HATE digital downloads (I returned my Fallout 4 goty as soon as it arrived in the mail due to dlc not being on disc).
 
Don't people own Bayonetta 1 & 2 already?  At ~$190 on amazon.jp that's too much. 

I'd want this if it had a physical cart for Bayo 1 so I'm glad it doesn't. 

EDIT: just checked, it won't ship to the US anyways.

The Bayo special edition on amazon jp is from a 3rd party seller, that does not ship to the US. Been trying the last 30 minutes to get it to work, thought I was doing something wrong.

Couldn't get it to ship either. Figure the price would lower closer to release.

Other Amazon JP Link - I'm assuming this one will be from Amazon. Not pre-orderable yet.

 
"Currently unavailable", did not get it past the shipping page earlier. Have to wait for Amazon JP and maybe Amazon DE.

UK version didn't last, oh well. I expect the US to get this.

Just hoping I can get it anywhere but Amazon because knowing them they'll never ship it.

nin-nin emailed me that  Bayonetta was available at 6:08 PST -

they were gone by the time I was checking out (with them in the cart) by 6:14 PST - SO FRUSTRATING!!!
