Anyone elses Gotham Knights Collectors Edition from Amazon just randomly get cancelled?

Luckily I wasnt super hyped for it or anything, but I just found that pretty odd

 
Got my Gamestop check your payment status email for Saints Row Notorious Edition which I totally forgot was even coming out this month, and cancelled. There's no way I can justify close to $100 for that thing. Steelbook or not. Will wait and hope it hits the bargain bin, and if I miss out, no big deal.

It's got the season pass with it and I play those games co-op and go for all the achievements. Might as well get a steelbook if I'm gonna get all the DLC too.

You also get 1 year of NBA League Pass as long as you install the game & redeem the codes so even if you just do the G2L on the game to get $70 back in credit, $130 for 1 year of League Pass & the physical items is worth it.

Edit: F this; just checked & Grizzlies are blacked out in STL, only reason I was getting this was to watch Ja Morant; will have to move the preorder to something else.

Also from reading the PS5 & XBox store listing the Championship Edition with League Pass is being pulled from digital stores after the release & if you don’t redeem codes from the physical version by Dec. 18 you won’t get the League Pass code, which has an expiration date of Dec. 31.

Really wondering if it’ll be rare and if not, will it go on sale on Black Friday. Also do u have to have cable for that league pass?

Every saints row has ended up free or on game pass. That CE will be half price in 6 months. Absolutely 0 reason to buy any saints row game on launch

Ugh this is going to be a pain to manage to get pokemon violet steelbook from fnac since international shipping doesn't seem to work and I don't see it on ebay for preorders. Hope they manage to get on ebay one day.

There's lots of game swag I wish I picked up in the past, like the HZD Thunderjaw statue. WM had it for like $160 and I kept debating before it just sold out.
 
The last Syberia CE never came to the US, so I won't be surprised if it's the same story with this one.

Is this a prequel game?

Not sure on when it takes place, but the CE does ship to the US for now. $25 shipping.

The statue holding the metal case is a cool idea. It seems a much better value than some other CEs recently.

The expensive things are adding up and I'm pretty sure I'm going to cancel the Gotham Knights CE.  A $300 CE with just a statue and map is a tough ask.

 
Have yet to get my delay email from Atlus.

It's pretty crazy that Atlus & Nintendo are the only two companies (besides Lrg but that is a diff story) that charged up front for CEs. Amazon, Gamestop, Best Buy, hell even NIS America don't charge you until the item ships.

Depending on one's financial situation it could be beneficial considering September and October are pretty loaded for games.

It seems pretty light on content for a $150 bundle, but I'm excited for the game nonetheless. The lore books retail for $25 each, and if they are the same size as the previous lore books that means the status is probably 15" to 18" tall.

That's a nice steelboook, but oddly less stuff than Gotham Knights.  WB is the dumb when it comes to CEs.  I remember Shadow of War being not great as well.

I’m just hoping that someone messed up and that pricing is atleast $100 over msrp… it’s not adding up for just a book and SB
