Admittedly I think of having a lowball sale as less trouble than having a garage sale but fitting within the same purposes - an attempt to clear up some space and let go of some items and perhaps make a little bit of money as well. The money seems to be an added perk more than anything else in my mind ^^
 
My lowball is almost completely done (being all paid and sent out), and I'd do another one. I just won't do THAT many items. Probably only about half the items, which is still a lot.
 
You're trying to haggle people on a site that has cheap in its name. You're not really going to get them on board with reserve prices.

Also, gaming niche is one thing but your items are even more obscure than most for people on this site.
 
I was talking about most of your reserve items. Anyway, I guess it's rather fruitless to argue since the worst that'll happen is you'll keep them which isn't all that bad if you aren't looking to lose them anytime soon.
 
I was counting the Reserve items also, obviously. Some of them are Rare for sure, but normal Anime and gaming related, and I've had trade offers on everything on there except the McFarlanes, the people who offered just didn't have anything on interest. Maybe your not in this niche if you find them so exotic, but don't speak for everyone.

Thanks for the bumps through the night while I was asleep guys. I'm not going to argue what I think are all the merits of the lowball style. I'm sure everyone knows what my thoughts are as, I took some big risks (especially in my first sale which was the size of Antic's and goomba's latest ones) and luckily, although I lost some money on a few items, things more than balanced out for me personally.

People obviously don't have to us the dv8mad style, but many people seem to like it (both buyers and sellers) so, I still consider the entire idea a success.

Hopefully this subject is over now.

I really do appreciate the bumps, but what I appreciate even more is when the people at the top of my CAG list and, honestly, at the top of my friends list, can get along with eachother.
 
I'm afraid that there is not a Yoda Mugg anywhere in the greater Salt Lake Valley area. I did see a few today I hadn't seen before including Han Solo, Destro, Cobra Commander, and Human Torch.

I'll still keep an eye out though!

Ai, are there any of these that you would be against receiving? I think I've got a few more lying around, but just need to look for them. Nate grew so fast that I didn't really get an opportunity to purchase many 3 - 6 mos stuff.

Thank you so much for the pocky! I can't wait to get it. I can find regular and strawberry pocky everywhere, but not even the oriental market carries the marble variety. Yum!

anyway, lowball sale is def fun! lowball with free stuff are even better! :)

btw dv8, I just saw you have sf4 as want. i'll try and see if i can get one for ya.

also, if any1 is considering getting that well below cost G7, please don't. b/c they are crap if you don't got any warranty. I am on my third G7.... the mouse button wears down after frequent use, and thus you'd get a lot of multiple clicks even though you only clicked once.

You're probably right geo. Most anime blus are ridiculously expensive here. Well, most media in general, but that's beside the point...

I went to Sofmap and they do not have it in or available for order. I didn't speak with anyone, but maybe it's sold out? That leaves Amazon.jp or Yahoo Auctions as the best source for me and you guys can check the pricing just as easily as I can. (More easily in this case since anything related to that blu would be blocked from me here at work anyway. ;)

When that SFIV and Oneechan become available, maybe it's time for you to dip into some of the stuff I have in my special list! ;) I know it's not your thing unless it hurts, but normal can be nice sometimes too. :rofl:

Yea, I honestly started waiting on more games and such when I noticed how bad the rates are, starting price vs conversion and all.

Oh, actually it changes every week or so, it's between trying to find something shocking, and then my attenion span is that of a gnat.
 
DV, you should avoid Fusion Frenzy 2 like the plague. It's a terrible mini game compilation. It's not fun and gets old real fast. Unless you want nerd points (which could be a problem since one is win some online matches which no one plays), just get Mario Party 8.

Well, on the bright side if you paid $30 per DVD at launch, it isn't that bad in comparison. On the downside, I can't bring myself to paying that much for a DVD. =P
 
One boss left on PS3 RE5, then I need to unlock everything... most of Fable 2 done, 360 RE5 to start, SO4 to start, Eat Lead to start... and damn I'm still checking dv8's list every hour or two. You cripple my gaming time, man.
 
I haven't even opened RE5 since I got it. I think I'll play World at War first since Kiefer Sutherland does some voice work on it so it's basically Jack Bauer in World War II.

Speaking of 24, is Calorie Mate any good, DV?

Ai says they are pretty good except they are really dry so you definitely need a drink with them.
I have never tried it because it looks like a compressed dog turd.

EDIT for below - Depends on how soon these guys get things wrapped up with me and I see what's left and then decide what to get rid of that's not on the list at the moment.
So basically, if they like you, they will wait, if they don't, they will hurry and get things sorted out with me so they don't have to bid against you. :rofl:

I'm pretty sure my items won't pop-up in the lowball sale for three reasons:

1) I should get my stuff by the end of the week.
2) They aren't exactly cheap.
c) I like to ruin people's fun.

Payment of $70. It was funded for about $8 in debit card so if you were hit by fees just refund it (fees are reversed). I'll pay you with a bank transfer when it clears.

What would you like me to do? Honestly, if you wanted to get a whole package sent in the future as your PM suggested, I could take say $50 of it now (to fund the lowball payment I need to make! ;))and get the rest when you have the direct funds and get everything in one box at a later date. LMK

EDIT FOR BELOW - Actually, if it comes to the softbank account and the funds are existing, there are no fees, even with two payments.

Well the point of making one payment is to prevent the reoccurred of fees so partial now, partial later defeats the purpose. I think PP charges fees no matter what kind of transfer you do which was about 80 cents more than it should have been in this case. That's like... A can of melon soda! (I know every transfer sent to me is charged a fee, CC or non-CC). I think at this point it's better to just keep the money and bill me the 80 cents later or something LOL. I like knowing exactly how much money I get to spend so having it already paid is a big help.

As for shipping, hold onto it for now. I'm sure I'll run into more of your stuff later. Right now none of those things are "must have in my hands now" sort of things.

1) I have a cell phone which cannot use a strap
2) I cannot read kanji.

Basically I just bought Suigintou.

I just. JUST. Realized that having a Premier account on Paypal is TERRIBLE.

WHAT THE HECK.

I've literally been charged and accepted over $500 in fees (over time) because I thought they were standard. Lesson learned, I'm going back to a Personal account.

Man. Every single thing I've sold in the past five years had a fee of $1-12... And I've sold a ton of stuff.
