The type of "on hold" items currently on your trade list lead me to suspect RK.

Bump.
;) If his pending deals work out the Kindle 2 fund will be well on it's way! :bouncy:

How is the swine flu protection mask fund going?

Edit #1: oh yeah, you owe me feedback, dv8mad.

Hey, DV. Sorry for the delay in my lowball sale. It was a busy weekend. I forgot about Memorial Day and my refrigerator decided to partially die as well.

Anyway, I was planning to start it next week but realized it was E3 next week. I'll probably be too busy to keep it running smoothly. Still, I rather not postpone it much more. Not sure what to do.

In the meantime, here is a small preview for you folks. I call this first batch the CE update.

hey dv8mad if you have a chance check out the pokemon guide for Pokemon Mystery dungeon. any version ds or gba.
they show the pixels from the games that might help with your pokemon pixel art
just got my stuff from frosty's lowball sale and saw them.

thx a bunch
and Which should i play when i beat Lego Batman
Oblivion GOTY or Fable 2 LE?
Tough choice?
Im taking a break from Dark Sector.
Just learned I suck at shooters of any person on the 360.
Though i rocked Ratchet and Clank but does that count.
anyway

Thx a bunch

Oblivion is a massive game if you get into it. I spent a good amount of time playing it back at release for the PC. Fable II is good fun, but it's pretty short as far as RPGs go. You can artificially lengthen it if you do a lot of the side stuff (not side quests which are also lacking).

I downloaded a bunch of other Pokemon sprites the other day. I think that I may be able to make some that are less complex than the others we looked at. I'm still working a lot, but I will try to make some on my next day off in a few days.

As for the games, I agree with Shady. I think it depends on how much time you are willing to devote to the game.

Oblivion. Fable 2 really wasn't that good in my book. Worse than the first to me, it felt more flawed, the first (With lost chapters) felt like a more complete game. Fable 2 felt like they forgot to finish the second half. Oh btw, it has no real bosses either...
and the most anti-climactic ending. You push A. No. I'm fucking serious, you just hold A.

Exactly. Fable 2 is like Fable without the lost chapters, half of a game. The other half is being released slowly as DLC, so if you bought it at launch you'll likely end up paying $120+ total for the game, more if limited... even buying it now it's still not a great deal.

Oh, and dv8, I'm getting a USS Flagg! :O

Excellent! Speaking of, I received Silent Hill Homecoming in the mail today. I'll forward it along with the rest of your swag once I pull together some baby clothes. Need any more teething tablets or toys?

In the future, it'd be best if those paying me for you would do so via Amazon Giftcard. That way we avoid the PayPal fee and it goes right into your fund.

got Ikki Tousen today ^_^

When i saw the banged up box on my door step i was like O.O...but then your lovely packing job kept the game unharmed!

update status on Operation: Get Money for Dokuro-Chan and Pals....one deal went though, got $45 now toward your fund now. Hopefully i'll get the rest this week. :p

thanks for another fantastic transaction

Ok guys
I have the Fable 2 LE sealed sitting on my bookshelf but the way you guys talk is making me not wanna open it up.
So I guess Oblivion GOTY it is, I even got the guide for it.
As soon as Im done with Lego Batman, Oblivion it is
Hopefully my Wifi adapter will be here too.

thx a bunch

Hey since a lot of you guys buy at lowball sales, i cant remember who it was
this guy had a lowball sale because he needed money to go to his dad/grandpa funeral
he said he would ship when he got home
never heard from him
I bought a guide and havent seen it yet
any help

tlp - I will let people know about the Amazon thing.

refused - Glad it made it there in one piece! Well, in all it's individual pieces. Anyway... Hey, once you get the entire amount tlp would like you to send the money in the form of an Amazon giftcard. (damn, I'm doing a good job of getting that info out there immediately!)

geo - I have never heard of that series. I assume it's come out within the past 5 years or so? I don't have HBO here, so I don't know it.
P.S. Unless you plan to give me those Joe toys, stop bragging or I'll have to come take them! ;)

riley - I think that was slimgatsby. He is a member here and GTZ as far as I know. You should be able to track him down.

dv8mad, just to let you know I am going to be issuing phase 2 (of 3) for my automated lowball sale starting this Saturday :) Here are the three steps:

1) Launch the automated Lowball sale system with a few items and see how it goes. Learn from any mistakes that pop up. [Already ran a few weeks back]

2) Issue another automated Lowball sale with new features: image hosting, user logins, bid logging, hard-coded server-side end times for items, rolling end times for items, support for importing eBay auctions, minimum $0.50 bid controls and more [Launching Saturday 05/30/2009].

3) Fix any other issues that pop up in the second test run and open the system to the public. My open system will support image uploads to my personal server, custom start/end times, the option to have rolling end times or not, the option to list any eBay items the seller may have alongside their lowballs and more. This will be launching on June 7th, 2009 (the Sunday following the end of the week #2 Lowball sale).

If you'd like a quick preview of what I have in place so far, or if you'd like to pre-register for the sale you can do so here:

http://lowball.gamesforcanada.com

I think by now it's safe to say that people aren't going to be giving up your tried-and-true system as all the lowballs since the launch of my system have been dv8mad lowball sales :) But I do like to give the option to busy folks like myself ^_^ Thanks again for all your support!

Thanks for the update dv8. I can't believe they requested more info ontop of what the from required. What else could they have possibly wanted!

Be sure to let me know if you need me to step in at any point to help get the situation rectified.

Heh, the cost of shipping something that big in the US is bad enough, I would hate to see to Japan...

And yea, Rome came out a few years ago. Blu-ray comes out this winter. Once the blu-ray drops in price it's a series you would likely enjoy.

A billion thumbs up for Disney's customer support!

Of course, living in Japan, I'm used to US support telling me there is nothing they can do.

I sent all the info for the bad US version blu I had and they agreed to send a replacement disc to me here in Japan. I should expect to get it within the next 4 weeks. :D

DV8, let me know what you think about the preview. I will be adding your guideline things tomorrow. Just want your approval before proceeding any further. I have a lot more stuff to add but I want to see it all before adding it to make sure it is in good shape. Thanks.

Akarik -
I got something in the mail for you today! ;)
Photo048.jpg
They also sent a free keychain for the order that you should like.

I also have the other items; Battle Fantasia, White Knight Chronicles and the K-ON CD.

I don't remember where we were cash-wise, so you're on the honor system buddy! ;)

What high end items would you like for me to pit up for sale? What would you suggest? I hope to have everything finished on it so I can start the sale tonight or tomorrow. If you have any suggestions I am always happy to take advice. Also let me know what type of present you would like for the help.

Anything is ok. Seems like there are some items that many people would like. I remember, for example, the Zelda 4-game bonus disk going very well in someone's sale before.

damn.... if only i can see some pic on the t-shirts. and i am getting too old to wear anime t-shirts.

also.... You've got credit ($15 to be exact). for shipping express~ :)

let me know when you get your items. sent out a week ago~

side question, what kind of mailing options you guys have? first class, SAL and express? is that it?

I'm interested in the shirts! :3
Would there be any women's sizes available (such as fitted tees)? I'm guessing not.. If it's Japanese men's sizes, i'm gonna say small or medium.

dv8mad, my latest Lowball sale is up ^_^ I'd appreciate if you could link to it when you get a chance. I know you're really busy, but it's going on until 6/6/09 and has a rolling ending time system now. Thanks!

the sale is here: http://lowball.gamesforcanada.com

I'm going to be adding a lot of items during the week :) Just didn't get enough time today due to work and family.

Oh and I'd totally love to buy a Mega Man T-Shirt ^_^ I wear L usually in the states. Not sure if you guys have the same size systems in Japan. In China I sometimes wore XXXXL (no lie)
