Wow, only 14 spots left. Looks like some weeding out must be done.
I don't think that will be really needed, I'm sure we can remove the people who said they wanted to join but still don't have XBL or are MIA. I would hate to think that this clan would start throwing out people just becuase they had a low rank.
I'm not top teir so I don't mind not playing in more serious clan matches but I would hate to miss out of the CAG Inter-clan matchs.
...more or less your right. While most people have accepted the clan invite, a first come first serve basis should begin. Possibly rocksolid could seperate the list of people for those who are in the clan and for those who have yet to sign up, but still want to be in it. That way CAGers can see how large the true clan is. It's no college admission process but it may help out down the line.
well, i will certainly never be cutting people based on skill.
we're currently at 90 members invited, about three-quarters of whom have accepted the invite. if they don't accept it by sunday, and if our list fills up, they will be taken off the list and put on a waiting list. i also realized that by default every person whom i invited to the clan and accepted was made a 'member', who can invite people (therefore we have a couple of, shall we say, rotten apples in the clan). everyone should have started as a 'peon', who can only participate in clan matches. so everyone is back to peon, except for me (overlord), sticky waffles (staff) and cheapy d (member). from here on out promotions will be giving based on performance, communication skills, and participation.
once we're all full and everyone has signed up at bungie.net and linked their gamertag we'll be set for some serious gaming/clan activity. all of the practices have been a blast so far though, i'm really digging playing with you guys. and, it does need to be said, everyone please read your instruction manuals cover-to-cover (and learn all the modes and maps), because hearing things like "so do you have to press the button to talk?" in a clan game is a bit discouraging.

OK
When is our first practice?
