[SIZE=+1]Three important notes[/SIZE] (please read these before posting questions):

[SIZE=+1]1)[/SIZE] Most of the prices listed below will not be shown on the games at any given Kmart. Chances are if you can find them they will ring up at one of the clearance prices listed. The best way to check it is to bring a UPC sheet with you and use the floor scanners to verify the pricing before you ask the Kmart associate to open the case.

[SIZE=+1]2)[/SIZE] Kmart price drops are generally national in scope. However, each store must process the price drops individually. While the price drops originate from corporate, different stores have wildly different ways of dealing with them. Some will implement them immediately, some weeks later, and some, it seems, never. Also, there are occasional glitches in the pricing where a game that is otherwise on clearance will ring up at full price at certain stores.

OK, on to the prices...

The wonderful thing about Kmart is that they combine dirt-cheap clearance pricing with a general lack of organization. Thus CAGs in the know, hopefully using info from this thread, can find some amazing deals.

First off, here's the UPC database list as created by Slash and updated by MightySlacker: chttp://kmart.slashbunny.com/. Use this to verify pricing in your local Kmart.

The prices are organized alphabetically and by system (thanks again to ShiningSlade for starting it off this way).

Since the exact pricing is so YMMV, and many games ring up at 2 or 3 different clearance prices I will list all of these separated by slashes, with the cheapest first. For example: Psychonauts $3/$14/$24. I am also adding a bit to the color coding - see below:

My Kmart was completely bare. I found an employee and asked him where all of the clearance merchandise went and was told that all Kmarts have been ordered to send their clearance items back to the warehouse for inventory and redistribution. He said they were told that it will be back next week.

I think the price was on a yellow clearance sticker... but it happened around the same time as the MSRP drop so it's a crap shoot I guess.

The Kmart I went to(Greenville, MI) had Hulk for GC, so I had an employee(later finding out it was the manager) double check the price because it was marked 39.99 and in their glass case. She said it was 39.99 but could mark it down for me to 29.99. I told her that it is suppose 9.99 and she acknowledged that yes it was suppose to be, but when the game originally came in they had to manually enter in their computer so the discount doesn't show up at the register and that she couldn't give it to me for that much. Anyone know if Burnout Revenge 360 is on clearance? Found it at one K-Mart tucked way back in the 360 games. I know Sears has it clearanced, but even though they are the same company they seem to have different clearance's.

Last I remember it was around $30 (can't remember if that was a clearance price or just a general price drop). You could always print out the UPC's and scan them if your store has some price checkers around.

I also forgot to mention earlier I saw Dead or Alive 4 (360) for $20.

By the way, I was *really* disappointed when both Mario Party 7 and MGS 3 Subsistence came up full price... $49.99 for one, $29.99 for the other.

I know they aren't on the list, but these games are old, so I figured they'd start making them down.

I'm wondering if K-Mart is getting ready to add to the clearance items. When I stopped by the store closest to me this morning they were rearranging the electronics section. I saw a sign in the 360 section where they marked down the wireless gaming receiver for Windows to $15. They had also moved a few more PSP games like MGS: PO and Hot Shots Golf out of the glass case and onto the clearance rack. Also I noticed they had a cart on wheels with a bunch of old PSP accessories stacked on it (Phat battery chargers, car adapters, headphones, etc...)

I would have thought MP7 would be marked down especially since Sears has it for under $10 now. I kept checking my UPC printout of it last summer/fall and it was $31.97, then I check the UPC one day and it shows $8.97 or $5.97 (I think $8.97). Of course it was gone.

All right, so I was a brave soul and opened my African Safari game. The shrinkwrap was... weird. It had folded edges, but it was loose. I opened it and searched high and low, but there was no magazine offer. I went back to Kmart and they had no other copies of the game, so I returned it.

I wound up with 2X of NBA Street Homecourt (one for a friend one for me) for 9.97, .dot hack part 3 (of the second series of dot hack games) for 15.00 and Quake 4 for 10.00. I also took advantage of the free ten dollar giftcard by buying a 50 dollar giftcard. The 10 dollar cash card won't be rejected by the computer-- just act sly and the associate with slide the 10 dollar bonus card and it'll work. There was also a 5 dollar off 50 dollar purchase coupon that I found at Slickdeals... that is now gone. I'll try to find it, but that coupon expires Saturday. It's an email coupon from K-Mart, so it shouldn't be too tough to get ahold of.

My copy of African Safari didn't have the magazine offer inside either and it was definitely the Y-fold shrinkwrap on it. Maybe the company didn't pack it in that game since I'm sure it got abused with Alaskan Adventure. The cinema intro made me feel horrible since it had real footage of animals that had been shot, so I felt guilty playing it afterwards.

YMMV on that coupon. It says not valid on electronics (we all know that video games are not electronics, but that won't stop some store employees from denying you the use of the coupon).

Kmart I went to was barren wasteland and the copy of Mark of Kri they had on clearance with the yellow tag of $21.00 is now scanning at $29.99

Similar to other stores, they are also doing a reset here. A lot of their games they are putting on the clearance racks but just lowered price but nothing signficant but the ones priced at $9.99 or have the yellow sticker.

Picked up Virtua Tennis for $9.99, the only other 360 games on clearance with the yellow sticker was that and Pro Evolution Soccer for $9.99. Viva Pinata was $19.99, so no go on there.

For Wii, there was Excite Truck for $20 even.

For PS2, .Hack GU #3 for $15.00 (Please note to those who haven't played the game, you need a previous save from the last game to play this game) and they had Power Pro new at $9.99 (which I bought for $13.99 used at Gamerush...so this is a great price!).

For the DS, only Contact with the green sticker at $9.99 which is pretty good. But that was it...everything else, nothing that I really wanted...and nothing under $10. Same for GBA games.

No PSP games at all.

For reg. XBOX they had DDR on clearance.

I saw a Technic Beat for $1... but it was out of the system so the lady used the gun to look for the price, even though it was MARKED $1, and couldn't find it. Then she said "It must have been a mistake, I can let you have it for $6 (the price a lot other clearance games were marked)." It was actually opened (but I looked and the disc was still there) which is probably why it was $1.
