[SIZE=+1]Three important notes[/SIZE] (please read these before posting questions):

[SIZE=+1]1)[/SIZE] Most of the prices listed below will not be shown on the games at any given Kmart. Chances are if you can find them they will ring up at one of the clearance prices listed. The best way to check it is to bring a UPC sheet with you and use the floor scanners to verify the pricing before you ask the Kmart associate to open the case.

[SIZE=+1]2)[/SIZE] Kmart price drops are generally national in scope. However, each store must process the price drops individually. While the price drops originate from corporate, different stores have wildly different ways of dealing with them. Some will implement them immediately, some weeks later, and some, it seems, never. Also, there are occasional glitches in the pricing where a game that is otherwise on clearance will ring up at full price at certain stores.

OK, on to the prices...

The wonderful thing about Kmart is that they combine dirt-cheap clearance pricing with a general lack of organization. Thus CAGs in the know, hopefully using info from this thread, can find some amazing deals.

First off, here's the UPC database list as created by Slash and updated by MightySlacker: chttp://kmart.slashbunny.com/. Use this to verify pricing in your local Kmart.

The prices are organized alphabetically and by system (thanks again to ShiningSlade for starting it off this way).

Since the exact pricing is so YMMV, and many games ring up at 2 or 3 different clearance prices I will list all of these separated by slashes, with the cheapest first. For example: Psychonauts $3/$14/$24. I am also adding a bit to the color coding - see below:

Had zero luck today at the two Kmarts near me as well. I was looking for Wii games and there was nothing on clearance and only a few games at 19.99.

Did see several copies of Star Ocean Last Hope at one of them however.

I wish I had the same luck finding those Flip camcorders as you guys. I asked the customer service clerk to help me store locate one and she said the 10 nearest stores were all sold out. A bummer but I guess you can't win them all.

I found a black intercooler for 360 for 2 bucks, I believe it was a return though because the package was taped up.

My 360 is white, but who doesn't love a black rear end.

Also picked up some 25 cent game fuel, they only had blue though.
 
Ran into Kmart quick today. Still no good deals there. I've looked as closely as I can at all the case and can't find a single game that others have been finding, though when I scan my lists their prices are pretty much up to date. So now, I just need to watch for drops and try to get there a little quicker. They do have intercoolers, but I don't need those. Other than that, I didn't see anything for gaming.

They did have one of the Pick Flip Cameras. I don't need it, don't really know anyone that would want/need it, so I think I will wait and see if it possibly drops again. I didn't check the price, but based on their other drops, they seem to be pretty up to date. If it drops again I will buy it and give it to someone.

On a side note, I actually seen an employee in the electronics section of Kmart today. She was stocking or something, very nice and actually asked if I needed help. I almost wanted to buy the Flip camera just to capture the moment because every single time I've been to this store, trying to get someone in electronics that can help you takes an hour and numerous attempts :lol:
 
Hmm.. I think I'll develop some courage and ask the employees to price check the Rock Band SE for the Xbox 360 to see how much it is. Wouldn't mind some extra instruments to use on Guitar Hero 5 :)

I've been to every single Kmart within 30miles of me >.> not a single Vision cam kit >.> god dang but I find just about every other deals mentioned here (Flip cam, infinite discovery, etc...) except the 120gb HDD is still at $150.

At least you have a hard drive to keep an eye on. I have been to several Sear's and Kmart stores near me and I can't find a hard drive of any size there. I have a hard time even finding them for full price at Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Target, etc. so apparently they are popular here.

Make sure to keep an eye on that drive because it should be dropping for you soon!!!
 
It will take a while for it to drop, my local store had it for $149.99 prior to the current drops, now it is $120. That means it will take another 4 rounds of drops or so for it to get to $15.

But I will say that I went back to the store I got the hdd from and I found a Vision camera set.

The camera and headset trade in for $10.34 total in CASH and I still have the UNO code and XBL month code.
 
The 120GB HDD for $75 is no half bad. You can absolutely still flip it on eBay if you are looking for some extra cash. Seems the $15.00 120GB HDD is a Unicorn.
 
Yeah, I just made a trade with a CAG for one so I don't really need it.

If I flipped it on ebay, i'd net like $15... not worth it.

Even at $37 I'd pick it up. I don't think anyone goes in that store so I'll just go back in a week and scan it...

Agreed. You have to read through so much petty crap lately that you waste a lot of time digging for the actual clearance info in each thread. There should be a venting forum or something where people can bitch at each other all they want. Keep the clearance threads focused on clearance finds, please.
 
Honestly they put that HDD in the class case lol and if I want to price check it I have to ask an employee to do it but usually there never one standing around I have to go ask the front to have some people go there haha. And somehow my printed UPC never work any of them =( (may be cuz I used b/w laser printers)

The 10 foot USB cable pack is NOT YMMV, as I picked it up at my one local Kmart the other day for $2 at the same time I picked up a Vision Cam pack for $4. The PSEYE though, I thought that was $19.97, but if you got it for $14.97 that must mean they dropped it $5 again this month.

Hmmmm...now I wonder if they halved the price on XBlades yet.:whistle2:K I missed it during the Target clearance, but I'll gladly pick it up for $4-5 whenever it drops to that at Kmart.

I would rather had the Blu-tooth headset than the Eye, but picked it up anyway just in case the motion controller is good.

Like IAM said, I also found a 15$ 120gb hd just sitting there at a Kmart I hit once a month. Didnt not see it before and luckily it wasnt marked (always helps). I bought 1 last month for 35 or whatever it was and thought that was a good deal, couldnt pass up the 15$ one too.


Ive seen like 15 flip cams between all the stores so if there are caggers that want them they shouldnt be suprised to see them. I almost bought one at 99$ months ago as i wanted an easy camcorder for youtube purposes. cant beat 37$... or probably 15 next month

If the Flip Video cams are anything like the RCA ones or whatever the model was that was on clearance a year or two ago, then they may be under $10 by the end of the cycle.

I've seen the Flip cams at virtually every Kmart I've gone to recently, but most of them have them marked $75 in the case. Hopefully they keep that sticker up there and they just keep dropping.:D
 
So I found baiten kaitos: origins, for gamecube at my kmart, and I price scanned it. It rang up 40$!!! Has anybody found a way to get the cashier to check for a clearance/discounted price?

It's ringing up at an actual price not pennied out. There is nothing anyone can do.
