[SIZE=+1]Three important notes[/SIZE] (please read these before posting questions):

[SIZE=+1]1)[/SIZE] Most of the prices listed below will not be shown on the games at any given Kmart. Chances are if you can find them (and they don't have restickered UPCs - see point 3 below) they will ring up at one of the clearance prices listed. The best way to check it is to bring a UPC sheet with you and use the floor scanners to verify the pricing before you ask the Kmart associate to open the case.

[SIZE=+1]2)[/SIZE] Kmart price drops are generally national in scope. However, each store must process the price drops individually. While the price drops originate from corporate, different stores have wildly different ways of dealing with them. Some will implement them immediately, some weeks later, and some, it seems, never. Also, there are occasional glitches in the pricing where a game that is otherwise on clearance will ring up at full price at certain stores.

OK, on to the prices...

The wonderful thing about Kmart is that they combine dirt-cheap clearance pricing with a general lack of organization. Thus CAGs in the know, hopefully using info from this thread, can find some amazing deals.

First off, here's the UPC database list as created by Slash and updated by MightySlacker: http://kmart.slashbunny.com/. Use this to verify pricing in your local Kmart.

The prices are organized alphabetically and by system (thanks again to ShiningSlade for starting it off this way). What we are currently missing is a good list of accessories. I have added a few that I know about. We need more info on these (and there must be more to uncover).

In general, I'm sticking with ShiningSlade's method of listing games. However, there are a few changes. Since the exact pricing is so YMMV, and many games ring up at 2 or 3 different clearance prices I will list all of these separated by slashes, with the cheapest first. For example: Psychonauts $3/$14/$24. I am also adding a bit to the color coding - see below:

they had them at the $1 spot at target for $2.50 that included a tape. i did manage to see 1 kmart that had all the usps supplies on clearance. but they were still too much after the 30%. 1 padded envelope for $3.xx?! you could buy a 6 pack at target for $5!
 
For any San Diego area CAGs thinking about checking out the Chula Vista Kmart, don't freaking bother. Not a single real clearance price, and nothing anywhere close to what you guys are finding in this thread. Apart from the opportunity to report it was a total waste of a trip. For perhaps the first time in my life, I at least somewhat envy people not living in San Diego. :applause:
 
Saw Ridge Racer DS and 2x Starfox Assaults and a few Polariums, both rang up regular price. ($20 ea, I think). But that Kmart has a bunch of previously-cleranced games ringing up at regular prices. Did get Karaoke Revolution Country Bundle for $14 and Spiderman 2 DS for $1.40 there, though.

Another store had Polarium for the 30% of clearance price, though. So each Kmart is still doing its own thing. YMMV on what titles are actually coming up at the OP's prices, but I think it has to do with the old list titles.

I didn't realize there was a coupon... did my shopping on Friday night.

Found a PS2 network adapter at one Kmart, burried under a mess of accessories in the case. Rang up $16.xx =)
 
man, I don't know how so many of you are still finding clearanced games........I think all of my K-Marts are cleared out!!!

I did manage to score the woody faceplate for $1.75, and the Viva Pinata for $7 though.....

I hear you I am not sure what part of wisconsin you are from but the 3 local ones I hit up around Milwaukee are gutted the only thing I saw were those face plates for the 360 but I don't have one so it's a waste of money...

I drove 60 miles (1 way) to get to 2 kmarts in a vacation-area "near" me. They had tons of clearance stuff left. I even found a GBA micro ($24) and about 5 copies of castlevania double pack. Earlier this month I had found a copy of advance wars DS there. I didn't even look at the Xbox titles, but they had 3 of the Coach headsets (which I passed on).

I also saw a giant rear-projection TV in the middle of the aisle for $680, before 30% discount. But I have neither the money or the space.

It's all about looking in remote areas. Think to yourself, "Who in town X would buy video games at Kmart?" (ok ok, probably "no one" most everywhere....)

Funny thing is, I also score well whenever I go into Philly. No CAGs there I guess... find all kinds of awesome clearance when I go, I just don't have the time this weekend... and since I swung through a couple of them eralier this month I don't see hte point going back for 30%. I know one of them had 3 or 4 copies of the Karaoke Revolution Country bundle...that same Kmart last year had 2-3 copies of the guncon/time crisis bundle, the drum set, and all the eye toy bundles MONTHS after the original big drop was announced here.

Sure you can drive around to the less popular stores but some people myself included think it's a little crazy to be driving 30+ minutes on a wild goose chase.. there is one other store that I have not been to but it is at least 25 mins north of me so to me forget it..

It is to each his own... I did know that these kmarts were well stocked as I stopped there on the way to the boardwalk a few weeks ago. Calculating the milage at roughly $.50 a mile (IRS guidleines for 2007, good rule of thumb too), it worked out to be very worthwhile.

Of course, actual gas costs are much less - I've seen many say "I'm not driving 20 miles to the next store" - if your car gets just 20 mpg, and its 20 miles (40 roundtrip) your cost at $3.50 a gallon is 40 miles/20 mpg = 2 gallon x $3.50 = $7, instead of the $20 estimated by the IRS. Find a $24 Micro, or $25 GH1 bundle, or something you really wanted and it might be worth it.

For me, it's part of the fun of the hunt. My 120 mile venture netted me:

Is there any chance that K-Mart isn't doing large clearances anymore, but instead slowly adding games to the clearance list? There are quite a few games not in the OP including the Mario 64 I found yesterday. I just wish I could have found a micro for $24. I checked 2 k-marts with no luck.

I went to a Kmart over the weekend and asked if they had any Gameboy Micros. The guy working there had to have me explain what a Gameboy was after which he walked off and disappeared for about 15 minutes. Meanwhile I got on my hands and knees and located 1 stuffed in the back behind a bunch of DS games.

He eventually came back and said that they didn't have any. I told him that actually he did and asked him to open the case. The guy wouldn't let me look through to see if there was anything else that I wanted. I asked three times if I could just look through myself and he kept saying "Sir, if there's anything you want just tell me and I'll get it for you".

So I took the Micro - priced at $49 and the guy says that it will ring up as marked... riiiight... it rang up out of system.

Great. Single checkout lane opened and the line starts to pile up behind me. Eventually a manager came by with one of the guns and scanned it at $24 and I was on my way.

On my way out I spoke with the manager about the rude employee in electronics. I politely told her that they either 1. should clean up the disaster that they have over there so that everything can be seen or 2. allow customers to look through said disaster to see if there is anything that they want.

I told her that I very well could have purchased several other items if the rude employee would have let me shop on my own and all he had to do is stand there and wait for me to finish so he could lock the case back up.

She said that she would speak with the employee. I have a feeling he will be doing some organizing rather than sitting on his ass over the next couple of weeks.

He'll trade them here or on a trading site most likely and I, for one, would much rather have those games enter the CAG trading "bloodstream" than to sit on the shelf or get snapped up by a FW/SD hoarder, as a general example.

Actually, they had a clearance on the regular padded envelopes at my local store too, but as expected, any Ebayers probably gobbled them all up. They were $.75-1.00 with the 30% extra off them, so yeah, they must've went QUICK.

Ahhh, that must've been the Magnavox HDTV ready big screen I reported finding here for that price. Now, if only my family would 'upgrade' to that TV while the discount of 30% were still going on. Then again, we'd have to sit outside to watch it because our living room is so small that a 25" sdtv looks like a decent enough size TV for it.

I don't think there's much at all that has been added for a while. I think SM64 was a YMMV one I had heard about a while ago. I'll put it in there as unconfirmed (since only 1 sighting so far).

Some of the other cheaper prices sounded like YMMV 50% off specials good at only certain stores (like the $14.99 VP2). I'm not putting that in unless it starts happening all over.

What else is there that isn't in the OP?

I found 2 games that I did not see on the list

Sigma Star Saga (GBA)- 3.50

Gunpey (DS)- 10- This one had a generic upc sticker on the back so not sure if this would ring up for less at other Kmart's.
 
ugh, the kmart by me hadn't been updated. enchanted arms, table tennis, and ninety-nine nights all came up as either $29.99 or $39.99. too bad, since I really want to play ninety-nine nights, but I refuse to pay more than $20 for a semi-broken game.
 
Stopped in my Kmart for the first time in over a month. To my surprise the bottom shelf in the glass case which used to be jam packed with clearance games and overstock was completly EMPTY. I searched the Electronics dept. and finally came across a few cardboard holders which contained what was left of their clearance games...crappy 3 year old sports titles and jampacks for the most part. The few that were remotely of any interest to me were marked $15-20. Don't know where the other titles they had went. There goes that Kmart for clearance games for awhile...
 
Just got back from kmart. Went for a micro but no luck. Picked up Castlevania double pack for $10.50. Can't remember seeing this in thread but I also picked up a gba sp $28.00. Was forty before additional 30%. The guy working said they had 4 of these on fri. as well as 1 micro.
 
I just got back from my local KMart (Division, Ashland, Milwaukee Ave in Chicago, IL). They have a nice big rack with alot of clearance games. Alot of crap, but I found Chromehounds for Xbox 360 and Kareoke Revolution Country (microphone included) for PS2 both marked with the yellow clearance sticker for $20 but both scanned $14 at the price scanner.

Not to sound harsh or anything but since the year I have been with this site there are alot of people on here now that are no better than those so called FW/SD hoarders....
 
I finally decided to go back and pick up the Mario Party 4+Wavebird combo, even though it was no where near the price of $7 on the price list (long outdated version), but I went in with the $10 off $50 coupon in hand. I just had to pick up a small item to fill the purchase out to over $50, so I got a $6.98 8-pack of duracell AA batteries which had a $1 off instant coupon attached and is something I can always use. Net result was I paid about $41 for the Mario Party 4+Wavebird combo (30% off of $69.99 and the $10 off coupon - the batteries were about $6 after tax with the $1 off coupon), which still seems like a decent deal compared to what these items sell for on ebay. I wish I'd been aware of these deals back when the combo was $7, but oh well.

I also scanned Karaoke Revolution Country, but it rang up for full price.

P.S. the $10 off $50 coupon ends up being listed as "ABC Bingo Savings". In case that's of any use to anyone trying to use that coupon.

Yeah, I paid retail too for Minish Cap, awesome game. My K-Mart had 4 of them at 4.90. Its hard to pass up such a good game at such an amazing price even when you already own it.

I know the website says it ended on the 26th but has anyone by chance confimed that the sale is over, I know some people in earlier post were saying it might be a continuous thing while they get rid off all the crap that normally clutters a K-Mart. I thought it might keep going because the guy at my K-Mart told me word for word that corporate had been down last week to tell everyone the sale was coming because the store was about to go into an overhaul and upgrade.

I actually bought some things at Kmart today (like the Unreal Championship), and the clearance stuff was ringing up without the 30% discount (plus an employee said the last day was yesterday).
 
Man, my only "finds" were Banjo Pilot and Polarium in all of my runs to Kmart. EdLuva, 30% off $2 is 60 cents. How would that make a difference?
 
My Kmart had next to nothing. They actually had a SIGN next to the "clearance" DK Bongos marked $20. All the other clearance games were crap budget titles for like, $10.

I actually reported Super Mario 64 DS for $15 a long time ago, and I bought it because someone else here had mentioned it. So that's actually 3 confirmations of it now :)
