[SIZE=+1]Three important notes[/SIZE] (please read these before posting questions):

[SIZE=+1]1)[/SIZE] Most of the prices listed below will not be shown on the games at any given Kmart. Chances are if you can find them (and they don't have restickered UPCs - see point 3 below) they will ring up at one of the clearance prices listed. The best way to check it is to bring a UPC sheet with you and use the floor scanners to verify the pricing before you ask the Kmart associate to open the case.

[SIZE=+1]2)[/SIZE] Kmart price drops are generally national in scope. However, each store must process the price drops individually. While the price drops originate from corporate, different stores have wildly different ways of dealing with them. Some will implement them immediately, some weeks later, and some, it seems, never. Also, there are occasional glitches in the pricing where a game that is otherwise on clearance will ring up at full price at certain stores.

OK, on to the prices...

The wonderful thing about Kmart is that they combine dirt-cheap clearance pricing with a general lack of organization. Thus CAGs in the know, hopefully using info from this thread, can find some amazing deals.

First off, here's the UPC database list as created by Slash and updated by MightySlacker: http://kmart.slashbunny.com/. Use this to verify pricing in your local Kmart.

The prices are organized alphabetically and by system (thanks again to ShiningSlade for starting it off this way). What we are currently missing is a good list of accessories. I have added a few that I know about. We need more info on these (and there must be more to uncover).

In general, I'm sticking with ShiningSlade's method of listing games. However, there are a few changes. Since the exact pricing is so YMMV, and many games ring up at 2 or 3 different clearance prices I will list all of these separated by slashes, with the cheapest first. For example: Psychonauts $3/$14/$24. I am also adding a bit to the color coding - see below:

well yesterday I actually found a Advanced War Dual Strike for DS and it rang up $9. Woot! I never found it before, the employees must have rearranged the games and organized them.

Interesting. Anyone else see it at this price? I was going to check my Kmart, but wasn't going to bother with the other responses and the fact that they wouldn't match the $7.50 website price. $20 still isn't bad for this game.
 
Checked my store and Tomb Raider 360 was still $20 and viva pinata faceplate was still $14 or 15. I guess they haven't marked down there stuff yet?

There was a shopping cart full of clearance games and above is what I picked out to get price checked. The lady couldn’t figure out how to price check? She told me everything in the cart was 75% off ticked price. She pulled out the calculator and added everything up. I had a greeting card that I was purchasing as well for $2.50. $28.23 total right? After putting everything into the register with overrides and what not, she said total was $21.47. I know I must have given her the WTF look, but I didn’t say anything. This K-mart has a lot more to go thru, I know that I saw several titles from the list today. Round 2 tonight.
 
If you do see any more Mario Power Tennis or Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap, feel free to grab some for fellow CAGers who'd be glad to pay for the games + shipping. ;)
 
i was trying to get pricematch for Fear, and when i print out the ad, it doesn't print the whole ad like it looks on the site. So please can u scan the same ad u have and the send copy to me. My email address is [email protected]

Well, I just went to the site and printed the same info as I took with me (only in black/white).
I made it to a store in the last hour of the day 9-10 as my nearest store is over 30 minutes one way.
The store had 3 copies locked away and I asked for a price check on that game and two others...
The others rang up regular price (not CAG reported recent deals). FEAR was marked $59.99 and rang up $49.99, I then showed the print out...and the night manager was called.
He honored the print out (I did point out there were 3 copies and I only wanted one, that I drove quite a ways... and that there was already a discrepency between tag and scan...I also offered the print out which he appreciated...I think the timing and not being greedy helped...
 
I got the 9.99 bubble bobble that someone else mentioned, strangely it was in the front near the registers in a display of dvd's, while there was a pile of bubble bobble's in the games rack clearanced for 20$, very strange to have the same game in the store in 2 different places with 2 different prices.

My print out looked funky as well. Not everything printed out. Luckily, the clearance indication and the temporarily out of stock indication were part of what did not print. They were looking at the website at Best Buy and said that it had to be in stock for them to honor it, but ended up giving it to me anyway. The screen was away from me and I didn't want to seem too nosy, so I was only able to see them go to the KMart website.

Good news: They took my print out which probably looks just like yours.
Bad news: I left it there so I can't send it to you in case it would help.

Just try it at a few places. I had a CC say they would match other sites, one turn it down in person, one say they wouldn't match other sites, and a BB that did it.

Hey guys, just to let you all know, it was NOT FEAR I saw for $20, it was Prey. #-o

I don't own a 360, so all of those 4 letter word shooters are the same to me

Also I am sending the faulty bubble bobble game to codemasters for a replacement, according to the email I got I will also be getting a copy of rainbow island revolution, so thats 2 games for around 10$, not bad if I do say so myself!

Same here. Was able to get a PM at BB today. Took awhile and I was patient while waiting for the higher ups to come over but I eventually walked out of BB w/ a copy of FEAR for $7.49 + tax. NICE!

Pissed off. Know I saw Twin Snakes about two months ago at my k-mart along with a couple other games. Went back today and the store was basically cleaned out.
 
the kmart website says that fear is only 7.49. i them (hartford, wisconsin) and they said that it was still 60 bucks. now im guessing they didnt scan it into the system. but dont they have to honor the price they have on the website? sorry if this is the wrong place to post this.
 
they don't actually have to honor the online price. it says that on kmart.com. your best bet would be to print out the site and take it to the store and ask customer service. that is what i'm going to do. and if not, try cc or bb.
 
I haven't been to my Kmart to do some deal hunting in ages... looking forward to going sometime in the next few weeks to see what has changed (or not).

I know how you feel. At the Best Buy clearance a while back, a store near me had everything, but of course, when I went to finally buy them, they were all gone.

Anyways, today I got Drill Dozer for $3, and MegaMan Zero for $14. I'm gonna try one more K-Mart and see what I can find.
 
Believe me, with the BB and Kmart clearances, if you don't go looking to find the games you want when they're first announced as on clearance on here or at least 'stash' them(at BB anyway, since Kmart always has them all in those big fuckin cases that no one seems to have the keys for), then you're SOL when you 'finally get around to buying them'.

Of course, Kmart is good in a way, in that most of their stores RARELY have the games marked the right price. So, at full retail, most people won't even half think of biting.
 
Well, I meant that when I finally wanted to buy the games (on clearance), they were gone. And I went minutes after the store opened the first day they were supposed to be doing it. I guess the employees got to the games or something first, because I know I saw them the week before.
 
Day-um. F.E.A.R. on the cheap? I thought I was getting a decent deal on it at EBstop with their 2 for 1 deal.

I'll have to see if I can get it and return the EB one for something else.
 
I saw the Capcom Classics Collection Remixed PSP for $14.99. How is it different from the Reloaded version? Is it a brand new collection, something like volume 2 or is it a direct replacement for Remixed because of some problem with it?
 
It's the second compilation. It has different games than "Remixed" does. Gamefaqs or someplace probably lists them. I want to say that PSP Reloaded has alot of the same games at the first console Capcom Classics Collection but it's been awhile since I've looked into it.

EDIT : I think "remixed" is the first comp. "Reloaded" is the second one. My english is all jacked up tonight, trying to fix my post further will probably result in a foreign language coming out. God I'm tired.
 
Speaking of those $14.99 games....how long do you think those will last before they get marked down to $5-10? I don't think the good games will last, except for when those display stands are hidden away from the video game case.

I'd really like to get NBA Street Vol. 3 (gc) & Devil Kings for $5 :)
 
I just saw Bubble Bobble Revolution for $9.99. Don't know if it is YMMV or not, but it was at the front of a cash register with a white tag. Also present was King Kong (PS2 / XB) $9.99 and Matrix Path of Neo (PS2) $9.99.

it took awhile for them to mark oddsworld stragers wrath to 4.99 from the $14.99 red sticker/generic barcode md. and since they all have the same generic barcode i highly doubt it would be any sooner, since these games are fillers on their game sections since all of the ps1/gc/gba accessories are all gone.
 
I finally found a couple of the $3 Psychonauts for the XBox, still in the case marked $29.99 away from the shelf full of under $20 games
 
I was in KMart today and they reduced the prices for 360 Faceplates.

Carbon - $10
Silver - $2.50
Viva Pinata - $10

They didn't have any woodies left.

I remember seeing these last week too. Except Carbon and Viva Pinata was still at $14, but a blue Hotrod was $10, and the silver/ wood was $2.50.

I asked the cashier why the carbon was $14 and to see if I could get it at the silver price, for $2.50. But since the silver rang up was "Faceplate" and the carbon rang up as "Carbon Faceplate" she claimed the reason it was more expensive was because it was made of carbon. XD Well, I think I'll try again on another cashier later, its only a different color >_>

My kmart has a wood one, but why would anyone want a wood one???? Eww.
 
I picked up Advance Wars for the DS today. It was only $9.00. I wasn't expecting to find it but once I saw it I had to pick it up. BTW it was at the RIVERSIDE, CA Kmart.

So its confirmed at B&M F.E.A.R 360 is 10$? I may have to head back , im sure that mislabled..I too saw that capcom PSP game and was hoping for a drop.
 
just looking over their website, I have noticed that all the cheap games are back up to full price. drill dozer is 34.99, dynasty warriors advance 29.99, what is going on??

Well people have been able to PM F.E.A.R. for $7.49 at some Best Buy's and Circuit City's so it could be done although it's a huge YMMV.
 
Holy moly, I'll have to hit up some Kmarts for FEAR! It's pretty funny that it's listed as T For teen on the site.

BTW, I meant to say that the blue hotrod faceplate was $10. I'm not sure if it's known as the carbon or not.
