[SIZE=+1]Three important notes[/SIZE] (please read these before posting questions):

[SIZE=+1]1)[/SIZE] Most of the prices listed below will not be shown on the games at any given Kmart. Chances are if you can find them (and they don't have restickered UPCs - see point 3 below) they will ring up at one of the clearance prices listed. The best way to check it is to bring a UPC sheet with you and use the floor scanners to verify the pricing before you ask the Kmart associate to open the case.

[SIZE=+1]2)[/SIZE] Kmart price drops are generally national in scope. However, each store must process the price drops individually. While the price drops originate from corporate, different stores have wildly different ways of dealing with them. Some will implement them immediately, some weeks later, and some, it seems, never. Also, there are occasional glitches in the pricing where a game that is otherwise on clearance will ring up at full price at certain stores.

OK, on to the prices...

The wonderful thing about Kmart is that they combine dirt-cheap clearance pricing with a general lack of organization. Thus CAGs in the know, hopefully using info from this thread, can find some amazing deals.

First off, here's the UPC database list as created by Slash and updated by MightySlacker: http://kmart.slashbunny.com/. Use this to verify pricing in your local Kmart.

The prices are organized alphabetically and by system (thanks again to ShiningSlade for starting it off this way). What we are currently missing is a good list of accessories. I have added a few that I know about. We need more info on these (and there must be more to uncover).

In general, I'm sticking with ShiningSlade's method of listing games. However, there are a few changes. Since the exact pricing is so YMMV, and many games ring up at 2 or 3 different clearance prices I will list all of these separated by slashes, with the cheapest first. For example: Psychonauts $3/$14/$24. I am also adding a bit to the color coding - see below:

The only deal I could find at my K-Mart was the Remote for $3.50… mine never carries any of the good stuff… like faceplates, or GBA micros, or 360 games on sale/clearance.

Good remote though! MSRP is 49.99.

Actually, it was 30% off. Getting Up is normally $4, so it would be $2.80 after 30% off.

I got one of those a few weeks ago. Even though it said it expired on 3/31/07, I had no problems activating it on 7/1/07.

I got 3 of the universal gamer remotes for 3.50 each, also scored some dirt cheap school/office supplies. I am not sure what I am going to do with the remotes yet but if you are in desperate need of one it wouldn't hurt to PM me. This is my first kmart score since last year.

The only notable game was psychonauts for about 10.50 after extra discount, there were some PS2 jampacks for about 1.75 but I didn't get any.
 
A lot of stores in my area seem to be dumping their PSP products. Because of that I've been doing a lot of driving lately.

Found a copy of Lumines (original version) for $20.
 
I found a couple of Donkey Kong e-reader packs for $0.07 each, Tomb Raider Legend (XB) for $2.xx and FF 1+2 (GBA) for $5.60. There weren't many clearance games left at the 2 stores I checked out today.

Scored Rogue Galaxy for 19.80. It had a clearance sticker of 32.00 on it.
 
Visited a Kmart a bit out of the way today. Game section was a mess. A few titles on the racks behind the glass, but most were in stacks on the bottom. Tried to find some titles, but it was just too hard. Did see a Tomb Raider 360 sticking out, picked that up for 10.50. At least I got something. Apparently some guy messed up the layout a few weeks ago, and no one really wanted to fix it....

Baten Kaitos Origins rang up as 19.xx, but that was it. Got myself an Icee, a Kmart with a Cafe is always good ;)
 
So I head back today to see if I missed anything and I wanted to check out other departments and what do I find? A $21.00 LCD TV 7" Under the Cabinet thing. Does a whole bunch of cool crap. Going in my bathroom (somehow) lol. Anyway, this is what it looks like (below) I suggest you all look for it. It was like $120 before.

damn that's nice. I saw someone pick this up when I was in line as I picked up a Unverisal Remote for $3.50 and the Motorola Headset for $3.50. Might have to go back and pick this up.

the intercooler set rung up $10.50 for me after the 30% off but I passed on it. and I universal remote rung up $3.50 for me after the 30% which I picked up. Anyone know if the hot rod faceplates are clearanced further?

It was a special buy we got for the Christmas season. I think we got it in early December and it was on sale for $99 or something like that.
 
I definitely need to go to K-Mart now. I could do stuff with that under the cabinet TV. Plus a $20 Rogue Galaxy and excuses to break out my e-reader for 7 cents! :D

I haven't been to the Shamokin Dam K-Mart for about 2 years but IIRC they have a button at the electronics counter you can press that pages someone to the electronics area if you press it as I remember doing so and someone came right out from the backroom, assuming they haven't remodeled since I've been to this store. I still remember this being the only store that had Contra Shattered Soldier new back then anywhere near me. Did you happen to notice if they still had the N64 guide books lol I think they were Star Wars Shadows of the Empire & War Gods.

Also IIRC the GBA SPs would have been clearanced as long as they weren't the newer models with the brighter screens.

Actually, I thought I saw the War Gods guide book somewhere on that game shelf BURIED underneath all those $19.99 and lower games.

The GBA SP's were the smaller ones that look like you can fold it closed on itself, not sure if that was a newer or older model. Either way, I was happy to finally find that store, since I must've passed it on the last trip down there about 3-6 months ago. I also never knew that the Susquehanna Valley Mall was right near there, but whoever designed that thing needs to go back to design school, since they put the Sears down a LONG corridor off to the left of Boscov's.
 
i went to a couple of kmarts. the viva pinata faceplaes were $4.20 each after discount. the blue and silver ones were $1.40 each. the carbon fiber looking one rang up $7.50. i didn't get to scan the wood faceplates. disgaea 2 is also on clearance. it's $40 before the 30% discount.
 
I am really satisfied with the remotes I got for $3.50 considering you cannot even buy a normal TV remote for that price! I thought they were only for gaming systems but they work with basically any device that has a remote.

I am definitely going back to kmart to scout around for more deals.
 
I just got Advance Wars DS for 6.50 at my local kmart! It was behind glass, in a big pile of DS and GBA games. I asked the cashier to pull it out and scan it, expecting the 9 dollar figure found in this thread. But lo, it rang up at 6.50!

The sticker, naturally, still said 34.99.

i know this isnt a deal question so be kind, has anyone gotten the remote to turn on/off a wii/gamecube/xbox(1)/or ps2? Im havin a devil of a time with it but it works great on my tv totally worth 3.50 just for that

Of the consoles only the PS2 has a built in infrared receiver that could even receive remote signals. You get a dongle for the Xbox with the remote, but there's no option for the GameCube that I know of. The Wii uses bluetooth for its remote functions.

it has default programing for the ps2. if you have a slim, like the above post says, it has built in ir, so you can just hit the psx button and it will work. if you have a fat ps2, you need to buy an ir reciever that game with the remotes you could buy. the xbox 1 dvd dongle is needed as an ir reciever to use it. to program it, look up the rca codes for a dvd player. i found this out because the xbox remote is exactly the same as my first dvd player, which is rca. or you could just assign each button that you want. but i currently use my remote with my sat., psx, xbox1, xbox 360, tv, and sony reciever.

I could see missing that K-Mart since it is kind of high up and kind of away from the main road. The one time when I was heading home I meant to go around the bend where the K-Mart is heading north on route 15 but accidently went straight and ended up in Bloomsburg by mistake lol

Sounds like you stopped at the Susquehanna mall. If you did were you in FYE? My one friend was telling me that the back part of the store is now all abunch more used stuff (The part that used to be the back half coming out of FYE that was what was left of the old arcade) I still remember before FYE came in and it was still the whole arcade (Spaceport) From what my friend was telling me I was thinking that maybe the FYE at the Susquehanna mall is now kind of like a dump store for used stuff if the other stores nearby had too much used stuff that wasen't moving.
 
The FYE in the Susq Valley Mall was pretty big and it DID seem like they had ALOT of used stuff in there. I'd definitely have to say YES to them having more used stuff in there.

I also hit up the one thrift store just across from there, which I was shocked to find actually had thrifty prices, unlike the Salvation Army stores around here.

If you currently have a remote for the device you want to use, just follow the instructions in the manual under the "learning method". This should clear up any problems you are having with the remote.

Oh and if anyone wants some faceplates my kmart had a bunch of them, I know they had the blue one, not sure what other ones they had, so if you want one either PM me or post back here so I see it. I don't have an xbox360 so I would have no use for these but would be happy to buy for others if they wanted it. You will have to pay shipping though.

Found a copy of feel the magic ds at a local kmart...only to find that the front had one of those white 9.99 stickers. I checked the back look like someone already peeled the sticker off, went to the scanner and $2.10. Also saw a sign for a 20 dollar electric guitar which was sadly sold out, i woulda been all over that. The other guitars seemed kind of cheap and were priced around 50-60.

I had never checked Kmart clearance before today because there aren't many near where I live. But I went out and hit 3 Kmarts and found that every single clearance game mentioned here had those UPC stickers on it so they rang up $14.99. The only thing I found were those Universal Gamer remotes for $3.50, so I picked up all three.
 
I gotta grab one of those gba game cases 3pack, saw that at my kmart too, dunno if it will be clearance or not at my store though.

no luck for guitar hero 1 bundle. i saw the standalone game though but didnt check. i was able to get The Warriors for the xbox for $7 even.

They had a whole stack of silver faceplates so if anyone wants one and is willing to pay me cost + shipping plus a little bit more let me know. I promised a blue faceplate to someone but I still have one left for grabs (need to put this stuff on my TL!) I just got back from kmart and target and target had the same faceplates for 18.99 each so definitely a bargain on those! The faceplates were marked 6.00 each but rang up for the extra cheap prices. Point blank ds was marked 20.00 from the original of 29.99 but rang up 10.50.

They had tons of cases for just about anything you could imagine including GBA SP's and Gameboy Micros, most were very cheap at 1-4$ each, they had a PSP case for like a dollar but unfortunately I dont have a PSP. The inserts weren't removable so I didn't buy it.
