[SIZE=+1]Three important notes[/SIZE] (please read these before posting questions):

[SIZE=+1]1)[/SIZE] Most of the prices listed below will not be shown on the games at any given Kmart. Chances are if you can find them (and they don't have restickered UPCs - see point 3 below) they will ring up at one of the clearance prices listed. The best way to check it is to bring a UPC sheet with you and use the floor scanners to verify the pricing before you ask the Kmart associate to open the case.

[SIZE=+1]2)[/SIZE] Kmart price drops are generally national in scope. However, each store must process the price drops individually. While the price drops originate from corporate, different stores have wildly different ways of dealing with them. Some will implement them immediately, some weeks later, and some, it seems, never. Also, there are occasional glitches in the pricing where a game that is otherwise on clearance will ring up at full price at certain stores.

OK, on to the prices...

The wonderful thing about Kmart is that they combine dirt-cheap clearance pricing with a general lack of organization. Thus CAGs in the know, hopefully using info from this thread, can find some amazing deals.

First off, here's the UPC database list as created by Slash and updated by MightySlacker: http://kmart.slashbunny.com/. Use this to verify pricing in your local Kmart.

The prices are organized alphabetically and by system (thanks again to ShiningSlade for starting it off this way). What we are currently missing is a good list of accessories. I have added a few that I know about. We need more info on these (and there must be more to uncover).

In general, I'm sticking with ShiningSlade's method of listing games. However, there are a few changes. Since the exact pricing is so YMMV, and many games ring up at 2 or 3 different clearance prices I will list all of these separated by slashes, with the cheapest first. For example: Psychonauts $3/$14/$24. I am also adding a bit to the color coding - see below:

This newest list of PLCs includes tons of games. I didn't have a lot of time to look over it tonight though. I can only remember a couple, but it's a huge list(probably between 50-100 games that dropped). EBA & Contact are both down to $22 now(and both are great games, well worth owning IMO). All the ones that dropped to around $20 or so last time went down to $10 this time. So if anyone is still looking for Baten Kaitos Origins, it's down to $10 now.
 
I think we've been over this before...but I searched and I can't find the damn post, so sorry if it's a re-hash...

but KMart doesn't do price adjustments, correct? Or is it YMMV?

Like all the other games, it depends on the starting price. The items went from 50% to 75%

Just Cause/Disgaea 2 was 49.99 to start, was at $25 and now is at $12. Star Trek/Rogue Galaxy was $39.99, was $20, now is $10. Kameo/Tales of Legendia was $29.99, was at $15, now at $7

There are a few that are oddities - for example Battalion Wars was at $10, now its at $7 - that drop doesnt make any sense percentage-off wise.

And mark of Kri is STILL TWENTY ONE DOLLARS

If you havent played Disgaea, then you should give 2 a crack. Most of the "not that good" is because of it being an inferior sequel.

I also just don't care for most Tales games. All of the ones post PS1 should all be titles "Not Tales of Destiny II", because that's about all they are. Symphonia is included in this you Gamecube nerds :)

But, it also says, "Price adjustments will not be given on holiday merchandise or merchandise that is on clearance."

You can try a return/rebuy, but others have mentioned that sometimes they won't let you rebuy on the spot - you have to wait until they put it back on their shelves, then you can rebuy. So, YMMV for price adjusting clearance items and return/rebuy on the spot, but I've had luck doing both. Doesn't hurt to try.

In the Universal Price Drop thread, it says that the retail price may have dropped to $34.99 (Walmart reference) or $29.99 (Kmart reference).

Yes, what he said. I'm sure most are in the same boat as me, in that looking through k-mart games is a tedious task, not to mention my k-mart keeps their air at a cool-crisp 80 degrees year round. This list would be an INSANE advantage.

No, I don't think Lost in Blue 2 dropped any more yet, mostly the PS2/360/GC releases that started dropping over the summer.

I won't be back in there until Thursday night at the earliest, and I can't make any promises(it's not like I can just walk out of there with the list after all). But I'll try to get some of the other titles that are on there.

Just get out there and check the already clearanced games for further drops...

Post a list of a hundred titles (90% long gone from most stores) and watch your store wiped out by F and S before you have a chance....

The older store I checked only had about a dozen titles to further reduce and I happened upon a nice staff member...
I glanced at the list and most titles have been long gone for over a year!

and I would check Lost in Blue 2 if it's already clearanced...

My Walmart has it for $29.99 regular price.
 
I was just at a KMART in WV yesterday....

They were changing some prices right as I was looking at the games, so there may be some new drops now and/or coming soon.

Disgaea 2 was marked at $12.00
Hitman: Blood Money (PS2) was marked at $15.00

Does anyone remember the clearance price for Harvest Moon : A Wonderful Life PS2? They still had a copy of it.

If you didn't buy them, then chances are you weren't very interested to begin with if you're reporting the drops. Though if these lists didn't exist, none of us would've known about these drops.

Better to help eachother out in some way, rather than having a "Every man for himself!" attitude.

Post a list and F & S members will buy it nomatter what ...and potential gamers might miss out! I saw this happen at the Big BB drop this year.

Last night I posted every game I bought or found last night.
What titles did you post?

and respectfully if you keep up with the thread, members posted some recently found drops and then someone posted there was a "list"
ALL clearance drops at stores have a compiled "list". The reality is that most of the clearance games on the list are already sold out at most stores.

I merely suggest members get to their Ks sooner than later...

On another note, officially K will not adjust clearance games. I had bought 2 games day before yesterday that ended up dropping $10/$12. The CS rep was nice enough to officially return those two and allow me to rebuy them on the spot.
 
Um, the list is on the front page. It was a bunch of games dropping further in price. There may be a few new additions, but since they start at 30% off you will probably be waiting to buy them anyways

Some of the only times I've 'helped others out', they went and cleaned out any decent games from the stores I mentioned seeing xyz game at.

For example, I mentioned that the original Baten Kaitos was down to $4 or so and that xyz store had 4-6 copies left. I went back a day after making that post and some SD/FW/CAG hoarder musta went in there and cleaned out EVERY LAST COPY!!!

So, excuse me if I don't wanna share my 'finds' with anyone and even if the games go out of system, I'd rather that they languish on the shelves than be snapped up by some fuckin hoarder/reseller.

Now, if only Kmart were lax enough with the electronics signage as they are about marking games the right price, since there were a couple fairly nice offbrand tvs I wouldn't mind getting once they drop a lil more.

Example: Sylvania 24 inch tv(sdtv): $93

I'm not saying where I've seen them, but I've seen them 'locally'.

I feel the same way you do now... I have helped in the past and it turned out to bite me after I went to look for something lots of times now...
So to the people that cry that we should help each other .. well get over it. since FW,SD,CAG all have been in the spot lite and have grown it is every man for himself when it comes to these deals... it is like a black Friday sale all year and people don't complain about the campers, and hoarders that flock out in those sales lol...

I guess my point of view as that this site has been very helpful to me in the past, and it is based completely on people being generous with their finds. I believe the same person that would horde games that were list on here are the same people that would horde them if they made the find on their own.

I'm also biased because I live in Texas and I'm about 90% sure im the only CAG'er for atleast 100 miles and happen to have a K-mart 20 minutes from me. I'm usually under the impression that when I see deals on here, I can go unchecked to my K-Mart and rack up. I couldn't tell you how many games I've bought there (I suppose an acurate list could be found by looking at all my post in this thread.) If a list from K-mart with new drops is posted, that would be so great. I'm not interested in any of the games in the OP because, frankly, I've picked up every game that interest me.
 
Depressing, had them price check Rogue Galaxy and Disgaea 2, both came up at $20 and $25 respectively. Hopefully they drop soon, but luckily my K has 4-5 copies of each, so they should still be in stock once the drop occurs.

I've picked up a couple for friends. It seems most of what is left are either terrible games no one wants or 360 games, which, with some having prices of $32, are just a tad pricey for me to make an onforeseen investment in. Most of the games I pick up are no more than $15, and I only pick thoes games up if I really really want them or there is only one left.

My k-mart has gotten "bad" about actually putting the correct clearance price on some games which means any new-jack can walk in and see clearance games. The only saving grace is my K-Mart is not the nicest (as with many k-marts) meaning not a lot of people shop there. It kind of has that "always going out of business" feel and kind of makes me want to shower.

This Kmart did have a copy of Tales of Legendia and so I picked it up. Hopefully it's worth $7! Also, FYI, I scanned the barcode for DDR Supernova (game only) but it still comes up full price. I thought maybe that would have dropped with Supernova 2 coming out next week, but no.

From my understanding (and someone please correct me if I'm wrong) Kmart clearances are nationwide; however each store has to process the clearances which can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks or even longer.

Thats basically it, yes. Some of the deals throughout the millions of pages in this thread are YMMV, but if it is in the list on the front page (please note and read the color coding system) you can bet that price is consistant store-to-store. Exceptions occur every now and again as with anything but it is pretty spot on.

Nothing at my K-Mart. They have clearance stickers on the longer life PSP phat batteries but they're still marked $35. I wish those would drop to $10 or under.
 
Hm, FF11 was $7? the only version I saw was marked $49.99 guess i'll check tomorrow morning

Gonna have to pick up Kameo for $7 as well. Surprisingly my Kmart still has 3x PSUs left
