[SIZE=+1]Three important notes[/SIZE] (please read these before posting questions):

[SIZE=+1]1)[/SIZE] Most of the prices listed below will not be shown on the games at any given Kmart. Chances are if you can find them (and they don't have restickered UPCs - see point 3 below) they will ring up at one of the clearance prices listed. The best way to check it is to bring a UPC sheet with you and use the floor scanners to verify the pricing before you ask the Kmart associate to open the case.

[SIZE=+1]2)[/SIZE] Kmart price drops are generally national in scope. However, each store must process the price drops individually. While the price drops originate from corporate, different stores have wildly different ways of dealing with them. Some will implement them immediately, some weeks later, and some, it seems, never. Also, there are occasional glitches in the pricing where a game that is otherwise on clearance will ring up at full price at certain stores.

OK, on to the prices...

The wonderful thing about Kmart is that they combine dirt-cheap clearance pricing with a general lack of organization. Thus CAGs in the know, hopefully using info from this thread, can find some amazing deals.

First off, here's the UPC database list as created by Slash and updated by MightySlacker: http://kmart.slashbunny.com/. Use this to verify pricing in your local Kmart.

The prices are organized alphabetically and by system (thanks again to ShiningSlade for starting it off this way). What we are currently missing is a good list of accessories. I have added a few that I know about. We need more info on these (and there must be more to uncover).

In general, I'm sticking with ShiningSlade's method of listing games. However, there are a few changes. Since the exact pricing is so YMMV, and many games ring up at 2 or 3 different clearance prices I will list all of these separated by slashes, with the cheapest first. For example: Psychonauts $3/$14/$24. I am also adding a bit to the color coding - see below:

I picked up Rogue Galaxy ($10), Tales of Legendia ($7) and Baten Kaitos Origins ($10) today. Thats about all they had.

There is still another K-mart I could go to, but chances are nothing has been done to it.
 
I'll have to check my local Kmart later to see if they have $7 Kameo also. Maybe a copy of PSU too, I remember seeing one there but I'll have to check agian.

Yes, but it's possible that it may scan for lower now (at least, I hope that it is).
 
Viva Pinata stilled scanned $20. But I found:

They still had 3 Baten Kaitos Origins @ $10/each, but I decided to pass on them.

Yay, I was able to find a store that updated! I can confirm many of the same prices. Did anyone else see GBA FFIV? That one was $7. Also, Tomb Raider Legend for Xbox (not 360) was $3. I only know that because I grabbed the wrong one by accident ;).

It's too bad the games I don't already have are the $10 ones (Star Trek, Open Season, etc). I already have Kameo and PSU. Pretty wierd that they consider 75% off Open Season to be $10, but whatever (it should be $5). But finally I was able to get BKO at the magical $10 mark. I had gotten it for $14 or so from TRU.

I'll be updating the OP here in a bit.
 
Can someone please put the 10% off coupons on the first page? Its nice to stack deals, but I think they got buried in the thread as soon as they were posted.
 
I got Disgaea 2 for $12 and Rogue Galaxy for $10 yesterday.

I wish they had started clearing out Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin and Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation.

just got back. went to 5 kmarts and Rogue Galaxy, Romancing SaGa, Tales of Legendia & Disgea 2 all rung up at their clearance prices, no extra 30 or 50% off :( sad, sad day.

on a brighter note, i did manage to find

Just be glad the ones you went to still had those games. I went to 2 Kmarts that are 50+ miles apart and they did not have either Rogue Galaxy or Disgaea 2 (which were all I was looking for). I would've paid the normal clearance price for those.

I spent $80 there yesterday and had completely forgotten about the coupon. It would have been nice to have.

Looking at the recent posts it looks like there are even more games on sale than I realized (Superman Returns, Amped, etc...). I'll update the OP with those.
 
Anyone know how much live vision kits are supposed to be? When I went to Kmart last night, the woman at the counter wouldnt scan it for me and I asked her how much it would be, she said $99.99. I know she lied since the MSRP on those are $79.99 she just didnt want to open the glass case to scan it.

Same with all the other items I got before, I knew it was supoosed to be cheaper than it was marked and she didnt want to scan it at all.

time to get the upc code and find out for yourself. its so much easier then asking some of these cashiers.
 
Is PDZ worth $15? I'm going back and forth on it. Between Bioshock and Halo 3, I think I'll have had my fill of FPS for a while and I remember reviews complaining of the game being dated when it came out 2 years ago. Still, if it's pretty awesome it might be worth it.....

PDZ was only 7 at my K Mart. For 7 it's worth it. For 15 its not.
 
I saw the old style XBL 12 month kits (w/ PGR2 & a heatset) for $28 (it was a sticker from yesterday).

So am I the only one that got a 360 wireless racing wheel for $65.00? I almost crapped myself when I saw it. Wouldn't have known it was on clearance if not for the yellow $65.00 stickers :)

SOB...i was just at one today that had 3 Amped 3...i didnt bother since it wasnt on the list...and its to far to justify another trip...sigh

if anybody could pick up Star Trek and/or Amped 3 for me i would appreciate it greatly
 
Aw, all the prices at my Kmart are still from the last update I guess (15-20 instead of 7-10). But the place does have multiple copies of all the recently mentioned 360 games, not to mention titles I wanna grab on the GC/PS2 (Rogue Galaxy, Tales of Legendia, Baten Kaitos Origins, etc...) so I'll have to check back in a few days.

there is a recall on those racing wheel. they apparently could catch on :hot: fire :hot:. but microsoft will probably replace them for you at no cost. http://www.xbox.com/en-US/support/systemuse/xbox360/gameplay/wirelesswheelretrofit.htm

alot of ds games. while i was there today, i did see a couple of kmarts that had Dragon Quest: Rocket Slime for $24.99 ($10 off what they had em for). ToTA is ok for $22. i think i'll pass for now. the only problem with that is that all kmarts had very limited stocks of em. thanks pygmy.
 
The K-mart I was at in Brunswick, Ohio also had games in "Front Row" boxes like at Best Buy. I got an extra copy of SSX with Mario for GC that I would trade for a sealed NBA Street v3 for GC with Mario. Please PM me. Thanks.
 
I randomly clicked this thread during lunch break, then got Tales of Abyss after work for $22!

Stopped by my Kmart. They still have Rogue Galaxy sitting at $28. No sign of anything else on the markdown list except the PS2 headsets and network adaptors I mentioned before.

Did you price check? Some KMarts are as bad as CCs at updating the price stickers.

Yeah. The game itself actually rang up $39.99. There was a yellow sticker indicating the $28 price. I'm going to try again today as I'll be driving by there on my way home.
 
Would anyone be kind enough to get me a copy of Rouge Galaxy plus shipping? I just checked by my Kmart but they didn't have any. Though they did have Disgea 2 but it was ringing up $25.
