[SIZE=+1]Three important notes[/SIZE] (please read these before posting questions):

[SIZE=+1]1)[/SIZE] Most of the prices listed below will not be shown on the games at any given Kmart. Chances are if you can find them (and they don't have restickered UPCs - see point 3 below) they will ring up at one of the clearance prices listed. The best way to check it is to bring a UPC sheet with you and use the floor scanners to verify the pricing before you ask the Kmart associate to open the case.

[SIZE=+1]2)[/SIZE] Kmart price drops are generally national in scope. However, each store must process the price drops individually. While the price drops originate from corporate, different stores have wildly different ways of dealing with them. Some will implement them immediately, some weeks later, and some, it seems, never. Also, there are occasional glitches in the pricing where a game that is otherwise on clearance will ring up at full price at certain stores.

OK, on to the prices...

The wonderful thing about Kmart is that they combine dirt-cheap clearance pricing with a general lack of organization. Thus CAGs in the know, hopefully using info from this thread, can find some amazing deals.

First off, here's the UPC database list as created by Slash and updated by MightySlacker: http://kmart.slashbunny.com/. Use this to verify pricing in your local Kmart.

The prices are organized alphabetically and by system (thanks again to ShiningSlade for starting it off this way). What we are currently missing is a good list of accessories. I have added a few that I know about. We need more info on these (and there must be more to uncover).

In general, I'm sticking with ShiningSlade's method of listing games. However, there are a few changes. Since the exact pricing is so YMMV, and many games ring up at 2 or 3 different clearance prices I will list all of these separated by slashes, with the cheapest first. For example: Psychonauts $3/$14/$24. I am also adding a bit to the color coding - see below:

all the north las vegas Kmarts are shit holes....like super shit holes....and for some reason all the games (even the clearance ones) are locked up....well maybe its so they dont lose stock out the front door...

LOL That sounds like the Kmart here.....they had 2-3 big plastic bins of games out on the glass cases in electronics and some guy tried running out with an overloaded one, dropping games all the way out the door. So now, most of the games, save for a few clearance titles, are solidly locked up behind the glass cases.
 
I will be making some updates to the OP later tonight. I was quite surprised it seemed the games were mostly untouched, even when they were out on display with the correct prices marked. I thought with them being in the ad they'd all be gone Sunday AM. What was gone, however, were those $100 iPod Nanos. I asked at 2 stores and they said someone came and cleared them all out as soon as they opened... Oh well...

Also, that free candy coupon off their very own website appears to be all hosed up because of the sale this week on candy. I was going to get 3 bags as I went to 3 different stores but after spending 20 minutes trying to get it to work at one store (where they gave up, yet didn't even do anything to get me the candy for free - just said 'sorry') I didn't try at the others.

I was also denied the 10% off coupon because "email coupons can be forged". Yeah, OK, I forged a magic bar code that takes 10% off in your system :roll:.

On the plus side, I picked up several clearance games - will be offering many in the Kmart trade thread later.

The bolded and underlined text is what I was told, when I tried using the Blockbuster coupon 2-3 days after it was posted here as being 'dead'. They said it was a good coupon, that was manipulated, anyone got it to work right in their area was a miracle, I think.

D'oh! See, I went out today and completely forgot to bring my own damn list. As a result, I missed Magnetica which I'd probably get at that price. I can probably pick it up later as I'm sure it won't go anywhere (I think I saw it at 3 different stores today).

I'm updating the OP now. I'm trying to adjust for non-30% off prices, so I appreciate people being clear about that (like Kerig). It does look like there's been fairly uniform drops from $22 to $19, so I'll make those changes if someone reported it. I know I purchased the very same Surf's Up that I just returned a few days earlier (bought at $22) for $13.30 (which = 30% off $19). I can also confirm LOTR:BFME II at $19 (and a great deal at $13.30 after discount this week).

Also, I grabbed a Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness. I wasn't sure if I wanted it but I figured I better snag it and figure that out later. I just noticed that wasn't in the list at all, so that's a new discovery anyway. It was $19 just like the other cube games like Strikers and Mario Baseball. These were all tagged as $19 at one store I went to.

Another new game for the list: Cars for PSP is $7.

We had some misreporting early on because Contact was listed as a $22 game, which means it should have been $19 now. But in fact it is $23 (so probably $26 earlier, not $22). I have tried to fix all those types of things when possible.

Kerig - are you positive on Yoshi Touch and Go at $16.10? Because that means it is $23 also, and not the $22 (or $19) in the OP. I'll change it for now, but let me know.

Harry Potter for 360 had a $45 yellow clearance tag at my Kmart tonight. This might mean it's $37 like Battlestations Midway, which makes both games too expensive even with the 30% off.

Wierd, your second set of prices there are not completely off the wall - they are exactly HALF of what they should be. And the first set of values is exactly 75% of what they should be. That is very strange - there must have been some miskeying of codes or something. Either that or they are running 50% off and not 30% off at your store for the weekly special (or permanently).

I can't explain why the floor scanners would show anything different than what they ring up for though.

It was, in fact, on there - I added it several days ago. But I just changed the price from $22 to $19.

Looking through more posts - Ice Age 2 was another one I forgot to look for today. I'd definitely snag that for $4.90. I really gots to remember to bring the list next time. Oh, also forgot about Table Tennis.

I should add that I finally found one of those Universal Gamer remotes everyone here was talking about. They said they just found them in the back and put them out today. I snagged 2 ($3.50 each) as backup remotes for various devices (since it looks like they'll work for TV's and such too). I also got a Case Logic 28 DVD album for $1.50 - one of the nice ones that is faux leather.

I skimped out on grabbing Disgaea 2 since I didn't think they'd have it at the Kmart I went to. They didn't have the DS Web Browser, but I scanned a printed out UPC. Turned out to be $30 still at that Kmart.

Went to a second one. Found a last copy; $13.30. Successfully used the 10% off coupon. Tax and all, I got the game for $12.75.

You pay about $17 out of pocket for the 2 games and get around $26 for the above trade scenario. No matter how you do the math you walk away with less than a $10 profit.

The charger is great. You get 2 batteries plus the charger for 10.00 which is a good deal. The Intercooler is meh. I wouldn't use it on my 360 since I heard it causes problems ( I actually had one on my first 360 then it got the 3 Red Rings )

The charger and batteries are great. Very seldom do I have to swap battery packs and it's a cheap alternative to the actual 1st party ones.

The intercooler though is worth throwing at GameStop's direction. That thing causes nothing but problems. If your 360 doesn't red ring whenever it's plugged in, you're guaranteed that it will melt into your 360's outlet, thus breaking the damn system.

See, now I had them pull one of these from the case when I was getting games and they said it was still $15 (scanned at the register). It didn't appear to have the 30% clearance applied to it either, which was wierd. $15 is too much for that since I already have the MS charger and don't want the Intercooler. I'd just want it for the 2 batteries. $10 or less would be nice...

The only clearance 360 games my KMart had were Cabela's Alaskan ($7.00) and a bunch of old sports games tagged at $19.99 (Madden '06, NHL 2k7). They did have ONE lone copy of NHL 2K8 for PS2 tagged at $19.98 and a few Viva Pinata LE's (19.98), but other than that, it was a bust. No clearance TV's either. :(
 
I visited Kmart today and picked up a universal Gamer remote for $5 and Bard's Tale (ps2) for $5. I wonder if that remote will work for my xbox, since it says for the 360? I thought about picking up extra copies of Tales of the Abyss and VP2 to use for trading on the trade board. I passed for now, since I need to start saving my money.
 
My local K-Mart had 4 copies of Tales of the Abyss on thursday when I was there, so here is to hoping they still have one left when I go tomorrow.

After picking up 2 copies of Just Cause (360) and Kameo, I also noticed they had copies of THAW, Quake 4, Enchant Arms, and Amped 3. Does anyone know the prices for these games? Thanks in advance.

One thing I have noticed is that the charger will not charge a normal battery pack. At least not a black pack. I tried to use it instead of my play & charge cable and it wouldn't charge the black battery pack. It works fine on the ones included in the package.

The batteries in the package also work fine... although I don't like having white battery packs on my elite controllers... but they are nice as backups.

Yea it won't charge my Official MS Battery either. The MS battery doesn't click down far enough. I thought there was a problem with my charger until you posted this info. Thanks!
 
My store is cleaned out of everything except some PS2 Jampacks ($2.50 before 30%), PS2 headsets ($18 before), PS2 network adaptors ($22 before), and a bunch of X360 titles.

Also, they wouldn't take the free candy coupon as apparently it doesn't work if the candy is on sale (which all of it is).
