[SIZE=+1]Three important notes[/SIZE] (please read these before posting questions):

[SIZE=+1]1)[/SIZE] Most of the prices listed below will not be shown on the games at any given Kmart. Chances are if you can find them they will ring up at one of the clearance prices listed. The best way to check it is to bring a UPC sheet with you and use the floor scanners to verify the pricing before you ask the Kmart associate to open the case.

[SIZE=+1]2)[/SIZE] Kmart price drops are generally national in scope. However, each store must process the price drops individually. While the price drops originate from corporate, different stores have wildly different ways of dealing with them. Some will implement them immediately, some weeks later, and some, it seems, never. Also, there are occasional glitches in the pricing where a game that is otherwise on clearance will ring up at full price at certain stores.

OK, on to the prices...

The wonderful thing about Kmart is that they combine dirt-cheap clearance pricing with a general lack of organization. Thus CAGs in the know, hopefully using info from this thread, can find some amazing deals.

First off, here's the UPC database list as created by Slash and updated by MightySlacker: chttp://kmart.slashbunny.com/. Use this to verify pricing in your local Kmart.

The prices are organized alphabetically and by system (thanks again to ShiningSlade for starting it off this way).

Since the exact pricing is so YMMV, and many games ring up at 2 or 3 different clearance prices I will list all of these separated by slashes, with the cheapest first. For example: Psychonauts $3/$14/$24. I am also adding a bit to the color coding - see below:

Yeah. I have one or two more Kmarts to check tomorrow, but if anyone in NE Ohio spots NHL 09, NHL 2k9 or Bourne Conspiracy at $5, please PM me a location. I found Bourne at two Kmarts Monday but they rang up at $10.

I know this is a long-shot, but if anyone has an extra Star Ocean for the 360 they are willing to trade/sell, then PM me. Only game I have to offer is Pikmin or Last Remnant. All the kmarts around here had like 5 Star Oceans about a month ago and now they are all gone :(.
 
My Kmart is just awful with prices. They seem to flat out ignore the MSRB often, there's plenty of games they still sell at full price despite being old. They've had two copies of Twilight Princess (GameCube) for $49.99 in their case for 2 years now, they haven't budged. I have bought a few $20 games there when I was starting my PS3 collection, but it's very rare to see a game for less than that. Even the awful kiddy games (any system, including DS) never go below $20.

Has Lost Odyssey or Eternal Sonata been clearanced yet? I saw a ton of copies of both of those at both Kmarts I visited and I wouldn't mind a copy of each to play.
 
finally found a star ocean today...they had 2 left and i got one

also my local kmart moved a bunch of games to the clearance section...tons of fallout 3 (no not goty) I hope the fallouts drop soon

Went to the only K-Mart in my city today and it was like taking a step back in time. Nothing was marked as clearance, no price scanners, and no employees. I was in the electronics about 10 minutes and some kid and his mother were standing at the checkout counter the entire time. As I was leaving the store, I heard someone over the PA system saying "Whoever has the keys to the electronics department, come to electronics NOW"

They had a lot of stuff that *should* be on clearance. They had just about every Singstar combination with mics for both PS3 and PS2. The only things I saw that were marked clearance were a bunch of 360 and PS3 2-packs marked for $29.99, just like they have at my local Sears.
 
Nothing is usually marked clearance....my copy of star ocean was marked 59.99 and in the locked case

everything else i picked up was sticked 19.99
 
Unmarked or out-of-date labeled clearance is a standard thing at kmart. The games I picked up yesterday were marked $14.97, but rang up for $4.97. What's really annoying are the games in the cases that you can't see because some idiot has laid a bunch of games one on top of the other and in the back of the cabinet. I wonder if there was a Star Ocean in there. Next time I go over I may get them to open it up so I can check.
 
had my gf go on her lunch break today to scan some games, and you guys were right!! got 2 xbox 360 copies of the last rememnant and a copy of Bejing olympics!! looking to get a x blades xbox360 if someone wants a last remenant even trade, pm me!
 
I don't know why I even bother to check K-Mart around here anymore. I never find anything, and I always feel like I need to take a shower with a pressure washer after leaving.

Needless to say, nothing at all worthwhile there when I went yesterday.
 
Thanks everyone. Got XBlades 360 for $5. Also saw a PS3 Singstar (vol 1) with a 14.99 sticker on it. Weird thing is that some all of the clearance games price stickers were old with two different dates: 2-20 and 3-11. A couple of the 2-20 stickers were at the 4.97 price (NHL2k9) which is earlier than Kaydigi reported them dropping to that price and most were marked 3-11 (at first I thought they reflected this month's drops at that store)and still at 9.97. Just about left with nothing cause I thought the 3-11 tags would be right, when I realized that 3-11 is before this last drop and so the stickers were probably wrong.

Same here. The worst part about it is that I KNOW nobody buys any games from my local K-Mart, but they never have ANYTHING on clearance. On the shelf where the keep the PSPs, they have literally four bins full of games behind them where nobody can see them. It took me ten minutes for an employee to come over to the Electronics and ask me if I needed any help. And when I finally did sift through them all, I couldn't believe I didn't find anything. Of course I had already looked through all the games on display and everything, so I asked him if they had any games in the back or anything. He was nice enough to go check, but came back empty handed. I left with nothing.

It's ridiculous, though, that crap like a DDR bundle for Xbox is still on the shelf for $55, and I wish they'd transfer stuff like their Lips bundles over to Sears. >_>; Anyway, I won't be returning for a while.
 
Eastlake, OH Kmart is closing. Video games are currently at 25% off, but there was nothing cheap other than a copy of Crimson Skies that is probably out of system.

You can probably get better deals at the kmarts not closing. 25% off ain't squat if they are selling MSRP.
 
Found a couple Kmarts with only half the recent drops -- most games still $9.97, but a couple did fall to $4.97. Also I found :360: NHL 2k9 for $1.97 which is cheaper than the reported $4.97. Go figure.
 
I was able to score a My Weight Loss Coach DS for $4.97 but that was about it at my local K-Mart. They had a Metroid Prime Trilogy behind the glass but no Corruption. They also had Deadly Creatures behind the case, but I think it's not a clearance price. Any word on if Battalion Wars 2 - 24.97 is ringing up the $25? They had two behind the case but it was pretty busy there since it's actually nice outside today so I didn't bother asking.
 
Just adding to the confirmations. I hit a South Florida K-mart after work. I picked up the last :gba: FFVI Advance (Lucky day!), :360: X-blades (There were plenty for 360 and PS3), :ps3: Bourne Conspiracy (Same thing) and :ps3: Dark Sector (Only saw for PS3). I couldn't find any Star Ocean's loose or in the case.

I just picked up Scene-It 2, madworld and nhl 2k9 for 4.97 each!

Star Ocean was nowhere to be found in my neck of the woods either.

I'm assuming Scene it 2 is Box office smash?

I bought a copy way back when it clearanced at Target... I left one on the shelf today in my local K Mart... Don't need a second copy. Thought it pains the CAG in me to leave a $5 game on the shelf...
 
Any chance that Metroid Prime Trilogy is on clearance? My local kmart had about 7 or 8 copies of that on the shelf. I may buy it full price anyway, but of course would be awesome if it was on clearance.
 
Picked up Quake Wars, Bourne Conspiracy, and Last Remnant all for 360 for $4.97 a pop. No luck on Star Ocean, and was really hoping for MLB 09 for psp, but no go :(
 
I don't know if this has been mentioned but I saw a ton of the Nyko brand Wiimote w/light gun case for only 19.97 clearance, that $15 cheeper then just buying the Nyko Wiimote without the gun case! This was in Beaverton OR

I doubt it. If you want to find out you should print out a UPC and use it at a self scanner. You can also get the UPC then call and ask for a price check.

Yes, Scene It 2 is the Box Office Smash and included the 4 controllers. The KMart here had 2 more after I got mine and the associate was totally baffled at the final pricing. It was quite fun.

Picked up a $4.97 copy of Last Remnant. I also talked a little with the employee and she stated that corporate made her sign something to the effect that she wouldn't post any clearance price drops on the internet before they are supposed to drop. I have to wonder if this was the reason that kaydigi didn't give as a few days notice like usual this time :)

No scanners at the local kmart any more, sadly. The signs for them are there, but just a blank space where the scanner use to be. I didn't know I could get a price check on a UPC number by calling. I'll give it a shot!
