[SIZE=+1]Three important notes[/SIZE] (please read these before posting questions):

[SIZE=+1]1)[/SIZE] Most of the prices listed below will not be shown on the games at any given Kmart. Chances are if you can find them they will ring up at one of the clearance prices listed. The best way to check it is to bring a UPC sheet with you and use the floor scanners to verify the pricing before you ask the Kmart associate to open the case.

[SIZE=+1]2)[/SIZE] Kmart price drops are generally national in scope. However, each store must process the price drops individually. While the price drops originate from corporate, different stores have wildly different ways of dealing with them. Some will implement them immediately, some weeks later, and some, it seems, never. Also, there are occasional glitches in the pricing where a game that is otherwise on clearance will ring up at full price at certain stores.

OK, on to the prices...

The wonderful thing about Kmart is that they combine dirt-cheap clearance pricing with a general lack of organization. Thus CAGs in the know, hopefully using info from this thread, can find some amazing deals.

First off, here's the UPC database list as created by Slash and updated by MightySlacker: chttp://kmart.slashbunny.com/. Use this to verify pricing in your local Kmart.

The prices are organized alphabetically and by system (thanks again to ShiningSlade for starting it off this way).

Since the exact pricing is so YMMV, and many games ring up at 2 or 3 different clearance prices I will list all of these separated by slashes, with the cheapest first. For example: Psychonauts $3/$14/$24. I am also adding a bit to the color coding - see below:

Are all previous clearance games that were on that huge list you originally posted holding at current pricing or just the $4.97 ones?
 
yeah ive seen copies of F1 Championship edition and fire emblem Wii for months now, priced at $59 and $49 respectively.every other Kmart I walk into seems to have multiple copies of two games that have long been clearanced out in other stores(best Buy, FYE, GS, target etc.). are these games ever gonna drop in price?!?! also if any body is from jersey or upstate Ny, i was in the Paramus kmart about a month ago and they had the Persona 3 Deluxe set for 24.99. i bought one and left two behind.

I really wish the clearance prices were better...I'm not really impressed, other than the T.V. prices (50" plasma) "Mmm..."
 
I checked two of the further Kmarts from me today. One of them must've got yelled at for not putting proper clearance stickers on stuff, since they had a majority of the games CLEARLY marked now.:cry:

I checked the other one down the line from me though and they still had the following:

Found the KMart That Time Forgot today. Tons of juicy goodness there. Picked up a copy of Quake Wars (360) for myself, and laughed myself retarded when the clerk's eyes bugged out over it. "This dropped from 59.99 to 9.98.. Whoa, that can't be right." She calls over a manager to verify, who says that even though it may "not be right" they still have to sell it for what the system rings it in at. After that, I didn't really feel like grabbing any others, but they had almost all of the 4.97 games on the list.. Except X-Blades :ps3:. Of course.

I bought the game for $10, and as I'm walking out, the manager who checked on the game literally flags my car down in the parking lot. "I checked with another city (aobut 10 miles away and on the way home) and they have the game, but it's like $5 cheaper.. Wow! You could pick one up there and return that one here.."

Why is it that some of these department managers feel like the customer needs to do their dirty work for them? Quake Wars has been on a steady decline for how long now?

Ugh, sorry.
 
Reminds me of a few years ago when I got Drill Dozer GBA for $3 when it was stickered $29.99 at Kmart. The manager (one of the managers in the store who happened to be working in electronics) almost seemed suspicious and questioned me on how I knew it would be $3. I just said, the internet. Same thing happened at Sears with Madden 06 around 2007 or 2008, $1.97 and employees said a 360 game couldn't be under $2, they looked it up on the website but I told them other stores had it for that price and they did sell it to me for $1.97.
 
I have a convenient excuse now that the wife works at another KMart. I said "she saw the price drop. Why the hell are you so far behind?"

Don't think I'll be going down there unless I have to.. They don't like me there now :D

:lol: I still laugh when I think bout the one bitch manager at the Circuit City in Middletown, NY grilling me on how I knew stuff would be $4-5 when it was marked $40. Of course, she didn't let me have them(unless I wanted to pay STICKER PRICE), so I told her to shove 'em up her ass and left.;)

It's hilarious when managers don't even know about the prices at their own damn stores, like when the local CC had AA battery packs(Energizer no less) for $1.97 a pack up by the front. They acted like I switched the fuckin' tags, but once I showed them I know how to read shelf tags and pointed out the UPC's matched, they shut the fuck up.

I laughed. That's good and sounds so much like some of the asshole "customer service" reps we have at our store. fucking hypocritical that they handle customer complaints, yet laugh behind their backs.

Whatever. Switch your Essential Home/American Fare to American-made brands, or fade out of memory, Kmart. I don't quite understand this ridiculous drive to undercut companies like Wal-Mart who obviously have their ducks in a row. fucking beat them to a point (like selling something they're too greedy to offer) and do it that way. But you won't.......You won't.

They replaced the 1 cent TV with an almost identical model. I think they may replaced something on the inside. The 37 inch version breaks down very fast and is noted on AVS forums.

Was so hoping I could find an NHL '09 but no luck. It's funny, my Kmart has the rare electronics dude that actually wants to help you, but they have none of the games on the list....

its actually kind of sad for me to say but,

most of us here on CAG know more about store promos/sales/upc's etc ..etc, then most employees (and even some managers)
 
Even though it is taboo to bring up the $10 off $20 coupon that's floating around, I'll post my experience using it today.

I was at the NYC Astor Place/8th Street Kmart and I found out that they are no longer accepting the coupon (though I got away with using it one last time).

I was downstairs paying for my purchase and my cashier had just totaled my transaction and scanned my coupon taking the $10 off. Just as she finished scanning the coupon, the cashier in the next aisle told her that they weren't going to accept any more copies of the coupon.

My cashier looked totally lost as to what to do and I thought they were going to get a manager to void my whole transaction, but luckily the other cashier told her that since she scanned the coupon already, they have to take it.

As for the 34th Street Kmart, one of my coworkers told me she used it there yesterday without any issues, but YMMV today.
 
Do we know what model those RCA TV/DVD combo sets are? I saw a model 22LA45RQ 22" RCA combo set and it was damned impressive. Even at kmart it had a great picture and relatively good viewing angles, plus it tilted down a bit, unlike a lot of these cheap sets. It was even full 1080p! Price on the rack was $299. If that thing is $219 I'm going to buy one for sure.

Not 100% true. I was just at NYC Astor Place, downstair @ 1:15pm today 4/19/10...and I used a colored copy of the coupon and the cashier said "oh, you got the real coupon" I said "what?" and she told me she just accidently allowed a copied one. I said "copy?" and she told me the B&W are copies and fake and are not acceptable, but the red ones are real and they will accept them" Then she pulled out a B&W coupon from her coupon pouch and told me "this one is fake". (it might actually be your coupon) :)

I also went to the 34th street one @ 1:30pm 4/19/10, and I used another colored copy and they didn't even say anything. I'm so tired from using this coupons, but $10 is $10.

BTW, they even allowed their coupon and a manufacturer's coupon to be applied on 1 item. Very cool.

YES! That is exactly what she said, she called mine a copy and I almost retorted, "Well, of course it's a copy of the .pdf from your website!" :roll:

The only actual clearance price drops I noticed on that list (for all systems) were the PSP games that dropped from $29.97 to $19.97. Pretty weak to have every other game stay the same (they must be selling I take it?)

I actually think they are...At least speaking for my store. I still think prices should be lowered though for 360, PS3, and Wii games...We've such an overstock of those consoles' games that I don't see any possibility of clearing shelves (or organizing them (SHC)) without clearancing them.

Alrighty then. I'll still have them check the price on it to make sure it's not the super cheap one for $70 that's just mismarked with the price from a couple of drops ago. But that's whenever I get back to that store, since I certainly don't need a tv that size, but if it were $70 my one friends' family could use it since their LCD tv just bit the dust last month or so.
 
Sorry, but when exactly were the price drops going to happen (namely for Enchanted Arms). I just got back form my local K, disappointed because the game was still 29.97
