Nah, I think this is very fair. We had the least time with the ME3 newbies. Javik was great, but we didn't have much time with him. James was all right, but didn't have enough time to endear us to him, etc. I kind of feel the same way about Grunt and Samara. They never really resonated that much with me and in Grunt's case, would have loved to have Wrex back permanently.

All that being said, we also got Mordin, Thane, EDI, etc. They can't all be slam-dunks.

It certainly gives you freedom of choice, which is cool. 

Following the devs on twitter, though, it seems like the whole idea of sex in this game and Bioware in general is out of control for me.  It almost feels gratuitous now.  I'm certain I'm in the minority on this, but I have zero interest in sex in my games and more in just general relationship development.  I like having a LI (looking at you Liara) and I like establishing and nurturing friendly relationships (Garrus, my man), but playing as a galactic pin-cushion or a two-bit hump n' dump space bad boy does not sound particularly intriguing to me. 

But, you know, if they're out or whatever, I'll look at Cora's bewbies.  No touching though!  :speaktothehand:

I do hear what's the general topic and all I have to say is we live in a world post The Witcher 3 now.

 
Unrelated, it looks like quite a few people at Bioware are busting ass on the Day 1 patch, though it may not be incorporated into the EA Access 10-hour trial by the 16th:

I only made it through about half of that video and I did like what I had seen a great deal.  I'll watch it all and see if it's as good all the way to the end. 

 
It's swell that they're being so transparent (finally).  But, that's too much for me.  Nuh-uh.  I'm not watching 17 minutes of a loyalty mission!  I'm saving that for the game!

Just so you know, there's barely any cutscenes in the video, it's almost all fighting and some light puzzles. I get where you're coming from but this video has a lot less story than the title probably implies.

Promo material is coming fast now that we're so close to release...

Excitement level is high! I have a vacation with the family planned for late March, and I maaay have bought an extra Xbox One S specifically to take on the road for this game. ;)

 
I watched the 13 minute video, I think that's a very good intro, along the lines of past intro sequences.    Of course for intro sequences, ME2 > ME1 > ME3, IMO.

Maybe ME2 > ME: A > ME1 > ME3. 

 
Nothing is going to top the destruction of the Normandy SR-1. Loved this though! I desperately want to walk around and explore all around the Hyperion for myself, just like the Citadel.

Oh man. I have to agree. That opening sequence of ME2 is unlike any other gaming experience. Running up the Citadel at the end of ME1 was pretty sweet, too.

I'll agree on that point, which is why I put ME2 before the rest of the others for opening sequence. For end sequence, I will have to give ME2 over ME1 again, nothing tops the suicide mission, Human Reaper excluded. Walking up the Citadel side and fighting all the way, too awesome for words as well.

I can definitely appreciate that. My MP time lately has definitely fallen off. But, let the gang know your availability and we can schedule a "Kill 'em All - Helius Cluster Edition" CAG night. :twoguns:

I should schedule the 21st off, as well. I have some vacation days to play around with so why the heck not?
