As I watched the first half, I was wondering to myself whether Michigan State was going to move into the top 15 and all of the sudden become the 2nd best team in the nation like the Wolverines supposedly are. . . .
Anyway, as for the Aubur game Skylander, my wife was there and said Auburn stunk up the place. Sure they were sans Irons, but the offensive looked way shitty in the first half. I think they were just playing through the motions and not expecting Buffalo to come and hit them in the mouth, which they did.
Has anyone else noticed that 40% of the top 10 teams are from the SEC? It sucks that they all have to play each other and more than likely they all will have at least one loss (though I'm hoping Auburn can pull it out!). Of course, none of them have any offensive, and we all know that if a Pac-10 team beats someone 34-30, they are well balanced, while if an SEC team beats another SEC team 7-3, they are fit to be in the top 5!

That's just the way it works, I guess. C'est la vie. No love for the SEC!
Yeah, I was watching the stats as they happenned in the Auburn Athletics java window since my home theatre wouldn't pick it up on the radio (shows field positions, stats as they happen, etc) and couldn't believe the score at the half. It was simply a game of not giving a shit and running the second string, but already the articles were being posted of how Auburn is overrated, "this is the same defense that held LSU to 3 points, yet Buffalo scored a TD, etc." I think they were wanting to rest players for the South Carolina game Thursday, which I can understand. They underestimated Buffalo though, and they came to play.
I haven't checked the polls this morning, but Auburn was #2 in the AP, yet #3 in the Coaches poll (with USC at #2). Didn't Arizona hold the game close for a while, and LSU slaughtered Arizona 40-something to 3 earlier in the year? That says something to the degree in which USC's rankings are inflated.
