Yea I had a boatload of bronze from buying packs to build up the low end collections and rare bronze players.

Any other HUT players get a random free back a couple days ago. I don't remember if it was Tuesday or Wednesday morning, but I had one sitting there. Even more odd was I was able to sell off the cards.

Yeah...that's what I'm eyeballing. The scenario feels like "I waited this long. Is waiting another week or so worth $2.50?" That may seem dumb, but with the list of $1.96 blu rays from Wal-Mart I wrote down, I might wait it out. That savings could be "Bullet to the Head" right there, haha.

At the very least, I'm sure it will be this same price. So, all I stand to lose is time.

So I don't know if I have been lucky or if there was a tuner update that I didn't see, but I haven't noticed too many bullshit wristers lately in HUT.  Within a couple weeks of the game I was able to shoot up to Division 4 and then went back and forth between divisions 4, 5, and 6 constantly losing to cheesy ass wristers.  Since Monday I stormed through 5, 4, and 3 and am sitting at 2-3-0 in division 2.  I don't know if I've just been lucky and haven't had to face any of them, if it was tuned, or if it is because I am playing in the late morning.

On a side note I am really hoping they do another holiday promo pack like the Halloween one.  Right now my team is set pretty good with my first 3 lines of forwards rated 87 or higher (my 4th is Lecavlier, Backes, and Plekanec), all but my 3rd D pairing (Hajmarsson and E. Johnson who are 85) at 86 or higher, and then the HFC Howard who is 88 and Backstrom for when I need to relieve Howard.

 
Yeah, there definitely hasn't been a new tuner set lately. You're just in one of those streaks where the game makes you think it's not complete shit. It'll pass. My opinion is that the last tuner set ruined the game again (specifically EASHL). It's back to NHL 13 garbage. We played a handful of games last night, and I'm not sure we saw one goal that wasn't some retarded bounce.

Even the ones we were scoring were just like "Ok...yeah...we scored on that possession...cool...". It's all magnetic puck, arbitrary bounces, and lightning reflexes. And if you're not blessed with that, you get three defensive players surrounding one offensive player going for a loose puck, and the puck just magically gets by all 3 defensive players, the offensive player grabs it, whips it at the net and scores. They might as well rename this game Neverland Hockey League 14...because this shit isn't real.

When the CAG team is contemplating learning the rules of cricket, you know things are bad, lol.

I strongly agree with that first part in regards to HUT too... I told DT right after that last tuner got put up I think I was 4x-1x-x in HUT season.. I proceeded to end up at 10x-10x-2x up until Monday morning. Then suddenly I go 18-5-3 the past four mornings. Yea okay. I almost feel like the Tuner made the d-men slower in regards to getting back and dumber in regards to them sitting at center ice while the other team is pushing the puck. But I'll be damn can those fuckers go sideways faster than ever before.

Anyways, EA FINALLY made me snap with the glitch shot in the shootout. My response was long.

"Wow, this is horrible and only goes to show how you keep catering to jerks like these. I can't take it anymore. Your plays of the week are horrible as you show off how bad your game truly is and how you cater to these danglers and dekers. You have one or two plays that are nice but 90% is garbage. You can have a team play perfect D in a game, but he dangles around and keeps the puck perfectly. The only reason I still play is because 2k doesn't hold the NHL license , which is a damn shame. They actually had more than 1 ref and it felt realistic. Hell, spamming in a fight still works even when you're blocking. It's a damn shame and you should be ashamed of your selves. It's as if the developers have never watched hockey."

I'd like to...but I could very well be watching for some crazy Microsoft Store shit to pop off tonight like last year. I think I'd pull a Destro-vechkin if that happened. Just throw the controller down mid game, lol.

No idea why in the hell Amazon keeps yanking the price back up. It's been $29.99 on TigerDirect since like Thursday. If you want, you can submit that link to Amazon again and wait for them to lower it (that's what I did yesterday...and just periodically checked the Amazon listing today). Or, just buy it at TigerDirect and pay like $5 more.

Haha...I just think all the other drivers are assholes. They basically refuse to back off and will force you into a wall if necessary. I don't have nearly as many problems just doing time trials by myself, lol.

The last couple times I played, my main objective was to complete a race without any flags. This usually meant I either needed to lead the pack the entire race or just let everybody pass me. I guess it really is true. If you ain't first, you're last!
