That's what makes all the great platforming games, from Mario to Duck Tales to Mega Man to Meat Boy, so satisfying. I fucking love platformers.
 
Dumb question since this is on the xbox board, but anyone getting '15 for ps4, or all xb1? I have my xbox version pre-ordered.

Great to hear, it seemed like everyone was going PS4 for everything, plenty of time to change my pre-order if so. Stores will be open for the Destiny midnight launch so I can pick up NHL then.

In other news, Garry's Mod is a daily deal for $2.49. Ironically, I'm pretty sure Gary is the only one who doesn't have it, haha.

 
Finished off my Steam sale hysteria by grabbing Rambo: The Video Game and Dive To The Titanic from josgba2002. $11 for Rambo, $8.50 for Titanic. I've been watching that Titanic game for over a year now and it never goes on sale. And Rambo...it's fucking John Rambo.

 
Only things I bought were Papers Please and Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 (50% off). Was hoping for a better discount on OOTP 15 but it did not happen.

 
Yeah, there were a few games I was hoping would get below $10 that didn't.  Picked up some things but didn't get a ton like I have before when the sales were amazing.

 
You know what's still my favorite PC game and runs perfectly on my computer? Total Extreme Wrestling 2005. Why 2005? Because it's freeware. I installed a February 2014 mod pack, corrected the errors, and manually updated it to be current to June 2014. There are 25 or so active promotions, 4,000+ workers, and hundreds of match and angle types. The mod packs even include pictures of most of the personalities, belts, etc. and each promotion has its own accurate logo.

Hundreds of real life locations and arenas from all around the world are available. Real life TV/PPV stations and deals, interpromotional relationships, and interpersonal relationships between the workers factor into things. You can even book each show, each match, each segment down to the minute. The sheer amount of options is overwhelming in a fantastic way.
 
I didn't expect anyone to care except Gary, lol. The series actually dates back to the mid-90s. Originally conceived as a collectible card game, the first PC incarnation was programmed with QBasic, switching to TurboPascal for the next version.

You can get the freeware version of Total Extreme Wrestling 2005 as well as many other games at http://www.greydogsoftware.com. There are even several MMA titles.
 
They have them for nearly every app, but there's no gamerscore attached to them. As far as I know, there's no reward or point for them at all.
 
So, finally bought a 2TB external and the games do load a little faster. Some games at least 10 seconds. I bought it because my HDD was about 75% full. I also bought Valiant Hearts and the game is well worth 15 even though I got it for $5.
 
I'll be around 6 Fridays from now.

Seriously, though- I checked around 7:00 and people were on but not playing NHL. Got food and downloaded Child of Light, and you guys were already in a game. Such is life.
 
I should have specified that I downloaded Child of Light on Xbox One, so I wasn't on the 360 by that point. I'm not usually a big fan of waiting around, so I didn't even think to switch over. I just played some Guacamelee. Hadn't really expected to see anyone playing last night to begin with.
 
So...I went to google and image searched "sizzle" to find a funny pic to put in this thread. There is some unexpected NSFW when you search that...
