Just starting a thread for deals for the Playstation VR.

I picked up the Core bundle off Amazon and I'm looking for a cheap camera and move controllers.

I found that best buy has some cheap playstation 4 cameras on sale for 39.99 with free shipping.

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/sony-playstation-camera-for-playstation-4-black/8245153.p?skuId=8245153

If you all know any good deals for move controllers or launch games, let me know.

Until Dawn: Rush of Blood (PS VR) $15.99 via Amazon (Prime Price). https://www.amazon.c...heapassgam08-20

Thank you so much for posting this. Due to your post I contacted them and my units have shipped out.
Thank you for posting as well, I saw your post and decided to give it a try. I contacted QVC (Only works by phone, chat cannot place an order) and they were great about it, they honored the $89.96 price and even reapplied my coupon making the total $103 for the bundle which is insane. I received a shipment confirmation just a bit ago.

I noticed Gamestop has Ark Park for $20 new. Has anyone played this one? The premise of the game seems like it would be enjoyable in VR. The initial high price plus bad reviews made this an easy pass, but for $20 this could be worth it.

I tried it from gamefly. Ignore the fact that I don't get into survival and resource management games. My problem was that you targeted everything by turning your head to point at it vs just pointing or reaching to grab. Didn't play it enough to see if it was a good game or not because the controls irritated me. If that doesn't bother you, then maybe you'd like it.

I beat Moss tonight. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Really looking forward to playing Astrobot since people have been saying it outshines Moss even.

sorry, psvr works with any game. cinematic mode. It' sjust any ps4 game and it will show it as a screen. not a vr mode or something.
Yeah, it’s pretty cool. Feels like playing a game while sitting in a movie theater. May not be great for fast-paced games like Rocket League, but God of War is great in it.

That was my experience with Dirt Rally VR. I got about 45 seconds of driving in before i had to quit.
Getting acclimated to vr is like VR is like working out in a gym. The first 2 weeks your body is hurting then it gets use to it. Got to build up slowly.

Yeah cag comes through again. A lot of people that missed out were were able to reorder. I just knew I missed out. People were nervous until it actually arrived. The tracking doesn't give much info. they have a progress bar. Glad to see the psvr still doing well.

wow i Tried the demo of moss, it just seemed more interesting than Astro bot. I tried Astro bot demo as well. Hmm tough then for me to decide which to get. Do their physical versions ever go on sale besdies 25-30 bucks?

Also, is there ANY place where I can find Job simulator at a NORMAL price ( physical version). this is ridiculous. Online merchant? regular retail hidden store?

Astrobot has been on sale as low as $20 physical on Black Friday. I’m not sure I’ve seen Moss on sale physical but it has been $20 on sale digitally. You should definitely get both eventually. Which one you get first is up to you

No place to get Job Simulator for cheap. When I bought my copy used from Gamestop it was $30. They have bumped their used price up to $50 now, which will probably still be the cheapest you can get one. The game is cool, but just ok. Unless you are interested in the collectibility of it, you might as well buy digital. Even digital hardly sees a sale, but at least it’s only $20 compared to the $70+ eBay prices

If Job Simulator wasn't rare I don't think anyone would be talking about that game.  The demo is super mediocre with pretty poor tracking.  It's "cute" but it seems like it would get old very quickly to me.

It's an easy plat but that's not a very exclusive club in VR.

Job Simulator was a pretty early 'complete' VR experience across the board for PSVR and Vive/Oculus, if you are hardcore collecting VR physicals then  yeah splurge, but if you are just trying to play the game I'd just go digital

With Job Simulator it helps to remember that it was one of the earliest games on the platform, maybe a launch game. I think it was a great showcase for early in the system’s life. Even though I was late to the game with VR it was still one of the first games I played on the system and I loved it at the time. The tracking is really bad and there isn’t much “game” to it. There is no way to fail. But the humor was great and at the time it felt really immersive. If you are going to play it you should probably do so before getting used to some of the better games

If those weren't mainly PS+ sales I'd grab Batman most likely.

And damn if you have PS+ and don't have Statik, you would be dumb to not grab it for $6.

These are the ones which have gotten my attention from this sale. I might use a combined 20% off coupon on those and Red Matter.

Also, note that Exorcist Legion VR for $3.49 is only the first episode, not the complete season. At least I assume so, since they are separate listings.

I played through A Fisherman's Tale on my vive last week, the game is very short, definitely get it on sale in some fashion, I think it took an hour and a half maybe, it's well done, but I wish it had more depth / length

I have most of the good games (and some of the bad) if anyone is looking at something specific. Only two I'm looking at getting are Catch and Release and Code 51 but Code 51 looks like its going to be ghost town since it's mostly MP.

Wait, that was really a thing? So stand alone is cheaper, but now Pr0f1t is blocked from getting it?

(Also, I have Super Stardust Ultra, but I could still buy the stand alone VR version that was linked...)

Nevermind, I was confused. I have HD, not Ultra. Derp!

Yup, the VR DLC for Super Stardust Ultra has never gone on sale.  Meanwhile, the full game + VR DLC bundle (which owners of the original game aren't eligible to purchase) goes on sale for 5 bucks like every other month.

I don't think there is any non-EU version of that game announced or anything.  I got SuperHot when it released physically for $26 shipped from EU I think, from an eBay user as well.

I know I'm in the minority but I don't think the game is as good as a lot of other people do.  It's fun but it wasn't as great as I expected based on the hype it got.

EDIT:

It was actually $23.50 shipped.  This was the listing:

I'm a noob when it comes to the PSVR (I'm actually getting a PS4/PSVR for my birthday in March) - if I want a disc copy of Superhot, I assume that the EU version will work just fine?

Correct. There is no region lock, so any region disc will work on any region PS4. DLC is region specific to that region's PSN store however (which requires jumping through several hoops to get it to work with your normal region account), but since there is no DLC for Superhot VR that's not an issue here.

Hypothetically if there was a DLC expansion pack, you would have to set up a European PSN account to buy the DLC. You could then share access to it with your main North American account on your North American PS4.

So the EU copy will play on the US PSVR but any DLC that comes out wouldn't be compatible?
DLC would run on your system but you'd need an EU account if you want to get dlc, which you can create free extra on your system, you'd be unable to use PS+ deals towards that from your US account though

Yeah that blows! I wanted to get it but F that noise! [emoji34]
