This thread will list all the different retail version of digital only games on one disk/code. In other words, it will list retail games that come digital only games or multiple digital only games on one disk, whether or not the digital only games is on disk or code, the price, and whatever other notes are necessary. This is only for non-PC games since the PC gaming scene has had an explosion of digital sales through the popularity of Steam and other services, and so retail versions of digital only games are not as “deal-worthy” as the consoles or, even more rarely, handhelds. In addition, Limited/Collector's Editions that are released with digital only alongside with specific games by code will not be included. This thread is merely for the re-release of a game with its digital only games included.

In addition, I will add when necessary retail version of digital only games of games you can import that are region free for systems like the PS3 and will come with the said games on disk or code but only ones that are import friendly. It will not list most PS3 HD collections/remasteres due to the fact that most of these said games are on disk before digital or digital around the launch of said games.

Definitions
I will define some terms to more clearly explain how the digital only games/multiple games on one disk are delivered in each game.
▪ Pre-loaded: The digital only games/multiple games on one disk is on disk and built into the game. It does not require any additional installation.
▪ Install: The digital only games/multiple games on one disk is on disk and must be installed to the hard drive to use.
▪ Code/Voucher: The DLC is downloaded via a one-time voucher or code. Once it's been used, it cannot be reused by another console/Gamertag, and you lose the digital games so to speak.
If there any mistakes, missing info, or anything else that will help improve this thread, please let me know because I want this to be as accurate as possible. In addition, thank you in advance to everyone who submits info and helps make this thread as best as it can be.

Vita was supposed to get a physical release here in the states as well. But considering it hasn't been released yet, I'm not holding my breath on that one.

According to the developer as of a few weeks ago, the Vita port is still being worked on. I don't know that it will see a physical release, but I do think it will be released eventually.

I saw that as well, but if the game doesn't show up for another 6-12 months, it's unlikely a physical version will come along with it. Stranger things have happened, but not often.

 
I just got an email from Best Buy that my preorder for the physical release of Shovel Knight for Xbox One was cancelled and is no longer available.  I'm assuming this means the release isn't going to happen, as searching for Shovel Knight on the website does not return a result for Xbox One, but does return items for PS4, Vita, and 3DS (as well as the Amiibo figure).

Also, the price for the remaining versions is $25 now where as the pre-order for Xbonx One was for $20.  The pre-order I have for the 3DS copy still shows as $16 after GCU, so I hope that sticks.

Yeah, kind of kicking myself for not preordering the WiiU version when it was $19.99. Now it's $24.99. I think somebody posted that it now comes with a soundtrack so that's probably the reason for the price hike.

I received a press release from Rising Star a month or two ago indicating that the physical version would be released on disc in the US as well. Of course, according to Amazon.UK, the PAL release has been pushed to early 2016, so I guess nothing much in that press release is accurate anymore considering the stated release date has come and gone.

I seem to be importing more and more, which I find to be a shitty trend because good prices are harder to find this way. Hilariously, my data usage is capped in my area, so digital-only is not even an option. I would hit the cap after downloading five or six new titles.

is Teslagrad on Amazon only? Cant seem to find it anywhere else. Also.. im assuming this is an actual physical disk and not just a code inside right?

 
Beyond Two Souls got a remaster and release on PS4 in the PSN store, but don't bother wasting money on it because a two-pack physical disc(s) will be coming out March of next year with Heavy Rain included as well.

i would like to know what happened also with this, saw it on amazon when it went up but didnt have any money, now its unavailable, dont understand if it got released or did but only to amazon, the fact all the other systems have it yet no xone is pretty shitty, thats the only version i wanted since its the only one with the battletoads quest, wish their was some news from them

i think that around black friday time they release those coupons to elite members, saw it when i was converting the cybermonday cheap rewards, with the coupon plus turning in 15,000 points for 35 off, got my mario world 3d for free

 
well was checking around still cant find anything on xbox users getting  screwed, if anybody uses facebook or twitter can they ask them? also it seems the other platforms were getting a release back in sept also but xone is the only one not listed anywhere and i never knew, but they didnt even try to sell on the 360, seems alot of pro japanese with that company, my only guess is since the physical version was going to have the glitchy dlc included that they ran into some problems plus the amiibo thing also probably got every other system pushed back, longshot hope is that they will still do a physical for xone and it will have more battletoads and other rare replay character levels

MS has a high minimum amount of boxed copies for which a title has to be released. This is why you see more physical copies of those lesser known titles on PS4/Vita because Sony has a lower publishing minimum.
