Official San Diego Area CAG List

Any CAGers near by have a Pandora Battery they can loan me or sell me cheap? The one I got off DealExtreme doesn't work (I put it in, no green light comes on). I live near Mission Valley and Hillcrest. Please PM me. Thanks!

WiiFits in stock at Mission Valley BB earlier today around 1 pm. I saw about 2 stacks of maybe 10 or more (there was a shit load of them, let's just say that).
o and markman quick question about the game rooms your having at comic con, what were the games and where were they? i may show up but ill probably go up and down the hall a 40-50 times haha for swag and stuff
Our gaming room will be 17B on the Mezzanine level. Here's a rough idea of what our room will be like (note everything listed is tentative)... We'll have more games (including Blaz Blue and some others)...

wow mark man...it looks great!

do you happen to need volunteers or are able to request volunteers? myself, my brother, and his 2 friends are signed up to volunteer, but if we could get into your company...we'd be happy to serve :)

ComicCon: CAG Company ;) hahahha

I just got back from the Target at Kearny Mesa. They still had 18 wii fits, about 10 mario karts and about 8 wiis left for those interested.

I don't know if any of you guys are interested, but the Mission Valley Best Buy had a whole bunch of Sing Star PS2 (white special edition) bundles for $89.99 (includes PS2, 1 controller, 2 mics and game). I'm not in the market for one, but I was tempted to get one just to have one around just in case my 60 gb PS3 tanked on me sometime in the future...

Target on 4th Avenue in Chula Vista, as well as Otay Ranch had several Wiis each this afternoon. So did the TRU in National City and the Sears in Chula Vista Center. Didn't see any Wii Fits though.

So did everyone recover from Comic-Con yet?

Mission Valley Best Buy clearanced out their PSTwo Singstar Bundles (Ceramic White PS2, controller, + Singstar and Mics) for $69.99. I ended up getting two. Good deal!

i didn't go, but my little brother and my wife did. she was dressed as Aeon Flux. she had a blast and came home with gobs of free crap. she even bought me a neat little MGS figure.

Hey guys, the board has been pretty quiet lately. Anyone playing any good games? I've been playing a little bit of MGS4 and Soul Calibur 4 for the PS3. Anyone try 1942 on the PSN? It looks cool, but I'm not sure if I want to drop the $10.

i just picked up a Neo Geo AES recently, so i've been rocking out on some Baseballs Stars 2 and some game called Robo Army. i also just picked up an X-Arcade Two Player, so i'm going back and playing some classic shooters on my Playstation and PC. (Strikers 1945, anyone? aw yeah!)

i'm also a few hours into Eternal Sonata, and in somewhat related news, my wife is finally playing some games! she's been addicted to Civilization: Revolution for weeks now, and i'm torn between liking that she's finally gotten into some console gaming, and wanting the big TV back! my ES sessions are relegated to the bedroom setup lately, and it's just not the same.

as far as new stuff, nothing has really caught my eye. i got in on some of the TRU clearance titles, but of course they've been bumped off into my backlog. i am beyond pumped for Fallout 3 though. as long as Bethesda doesn't do something collossally stupid with it, i'm certain that's going to be my massive time-sink of '08.
I'm back on a gamecube kick.
i still feel like Nintendo ditched the GC too soon, and then made us all buy another one with a different shape.

LoZ:Wind Waker, MGS: Twin Snakes, Ikaruga, Super Mario Sunshine, Metroid Prime 1 & 2.... so many awesome classics!

yeah...1942 looks really good but i'm not sure if i really wnat to drop the money on it or not yet...especially since i've got such a HUGE backlog.

wonder if those games ever go on sale or get cheaper over time. at the very worst, it'll still be there waiting for me when i decide to pull the trigger

I've been doing a bunch of Soulcalibur IV... haven't been playing other games much, August is pretty slow for me.

I keep buying damn arcade sticks though lol.

I've heard good things about 1942, but since Sony did have that PSN sale it wouldn't hurt to wait. It's not like they'll be OOS. :)
anyone see 360 controllers on clearance at Target?
i only have one controller!
There were some at the Eastlake Walmart, I can't remember the price but they were definitely in the clearance area. There were some pink ones and some were of Halo-themed variety. Don't know if that makes or breaks the deal for you lol.

Awesome to hear from you guys. Allyourblood, I feel for you with regard to the wife taking over the "good" t.v. Sometimes I feel like I need my own HDTV w/ my own system. Fortunately, nothing has come out lately that has piqued my wife's interest. Back in the day, we would fight over the xbox just to play KOTOR. We've basically been playing Rock Band. It's like pulling teeth to get her to play Soul Calibur.

Congrats on the Neo Geo. I remember the good ol' days when that system was amazing. I was actually seriously considering saving up $500 to buy that thing. I would have done it but the games were $180 to $200 back then.

As to the GCN, it was a great system with some fantastic games. I feel like it never got the attention it deserved. I guess the Wii is making up for that...

it may not be a club, but all of the indian casinos (barona, cyquan, viejas) are 18+ and have poker halls. I don't know if they're still offering the "sign up for our card and get a free buffet" but i remember when that was such an attractive offer and an easy way to waste time.

I beleive the card houses are all 21+ (ocean's 11 in carlsbad/oceanside)

those are far as heck!
thanks anyways....

does anyone know anyone who is selling a poker set of 500+ chips for under $15?

does anyone go to garage sales looking for game stuff... can u buy me a poker set if u see 500 for a nice set for under $15 i know its a huge favor but hey...

ill give u some uhhh patapon magnets from comic-con and the money i owe. please?

I've got a poker set my roommate left behind. Don't know if it has 500 chips, though. It's a pretty nice one... it's round and all the poker chips fit in it and the packs of cards fit in the middle. I think it swivels, too.

If anyone is interested or is looking for a good deal on Rock Band, I have a practically new Rock Band set for PS3 that I'm letting go for $120 on Craigslist. If anyone is interested here, I can probably lower it to $110 depending on how far you are. Drums are almost brand new, same with guitar, and mic is REALLY brand new as it's never been used. If anyone is interested, feel free to PM me. I prefer to sell it locally because I don't want to deal with shipping on such a big item.

I really don't think anyone looks anymore, but I just saw 7 Wii's at the Target in Eastlake.

That said, I went to Crab Hut last night for the first time. If you like shellfish and live in San Diego, you need to go now!
if anybody cares, theres 3-4 eye of judgement bundles at the aero dr. walmart for $29.92
at about 3pm today.
Did they have any other clearance stuff or was that it?
Did they have any other clearance stuff or was that it?
i dunno. i saw a stack of EoJ bundles marked $69.92 asked them to scan them, came up 29.92.
ive never seen anything marked clearance at walmart worth it. their clearance is horrible.

summer is almost over for me noooo!!!
if anyone wants to go hiking, i reccomend going hiking near the Torrey Pines State Beach, it is awesome!!
Anyone successful enough to find Madden 09 CE for $45?
No, in fact I was at five different Targets today (had a 10% coupon, not looking for Madden) and none of them had dropped the price yet. I visited Sports Arena, East Lake, Chula Vista/4th Ave., Plaza Bonita and Mission Valley. Plaza Bonita did have some of the 360 clearance titles at 50% off (Bully and KOH:Circle of Doom were two I saw in particular), but they were pretty much sold out on the Wii stuff.
