Be aware that not all Sears are alike, so prices are definitely YMMV.
List
  • date = date posted or updated
  • cp = current price
  • opp = old posted price
  • (oos) = out of system
  • * = posted at different prices (more than twice, most are)
Colors
  • white = current update
  • dark gray = old (ie. out of stock items)
if the prices are not updated in over a month, it will be colored as dark gray.

notes:
  • Don't turn this into your own trade list. Don't ask people if they want to trade X game for your Y game. PM is the best way to ask. Do your trading on the Sears Trade Thread.
  • Print UPC-A barcodes if you're having a hard time getting someone to open the cases for you. If you need UPCs refer to Half.com (just type the name of the game) or to io's kmart clearance thread. Go to either UPCDatabase.com or Barcodesinc.com to generate a UPC A barcode.
  • If you bring up a game and the employee scans it and does not show up in the system, it is most likely that the item has been pulled out of their inventory (most of us would call it 'out of system'). What this means is that the item must be returned to the manufacturer (so they were told anyways, but i don't believe it..). You can try to get them to sell it to you for the stickered price shown or maybe lower. It depends on the employee or manager.
  • Some of you are confused as to why some games are priced and rung up at retail prices but its listed below as clearanced at their respective clearance prices. Heres a good example:
    • 100607 ... 01.97 ... 09.97 ... Dead or Alive 4 (Non PH) *
    • ^^^^^ notice how the last reported price was October 6, 2007. The Platinum Hits version was also on clearance since it shared the Regular version's barcode. But they put the price back up in retail a few months later. Hence you still see the game now as retail instead of clearance.

Found High school sing it for ps2 for $4.97 unsealed. I had the guy working at Sears open it and the disc was there but it was missing it's booklet. So what does the employee do? He puts the game back in the rack on the floor lol :)
 
seriously good Gamestop flip potential with the Singstar games. Just pad them with some of those $1.97 trash games. Wish I knew their values when I was at a sears across town today.

Is this the bundle or just the game?
 
Guys, my Sears updated to the March prices in the middle of the day. They made a bunch of old ps2 games .97 and Urbz (Gamecube) had been oos, but they stickered it with March stickers and made it .97. Also burnout paradise 360 was still 19.99 but it did have the pink March sticker on it so maybe it will start to be reduced next month.
 
You can thank me for the Singstar TIV's. ;)

I'm heading out to my parent's town later tonight. Gonna hit up two Sears back home and see what they have.

The Sears near me actually still had a PS1 game until about 6 months ago or so. They had about 6 copies of NFL Gameday 2005.


I will have to swing by the store near me tomorrow to see if they have any March drops.

The way you say game only for Singstar leads me to believe the Guitar Hero games you mentioned are the bundles. Is this the case?

How much do Eye of Judgment and the PS2 Buzz! games ring up for? I'd scan them myself but I didn't want to be asked to leave the store etc.

For some reason the Singstar Rocks bundle just rang up $25 for me. All the other drops were in effect at this store so I'm not sure why that one didn't change.
 
It's just a case of some games not dropping. BW2 on Wii was still $19.97 at my local Sears after this month's price drops when it should have been $4.97 last month.

Only 2 or 3 at one store. At one store, all the clearance games were correctly marked and alphabatized!! :shock:

The laborious part was typing up the list feom 30+ iPhone pics. ;)

Thats too difficult to do, especially since prices are different at different locations...

I can't wait to hear your new solution ! - I swear the secret security is gonna tackle me one of these days out here on the east coast.

If Sears had price gun scanners like K-mart, we could just have an employee scan every game and have them stand by us. It kills me finding games that don't scan on the scanner meaning they should free or a penny, but then the employee says they have to go by the price tag on the game and THERE IS NO WAY I'M PAYING $19.99 FOR Rough Trigger or anything IHRA for ps2 !

It looked like they must've been working on the March pricing today at the Sears near me. I saw a sheet of paper sitting in the clearance bin with clearance price changes but it only had 4 games on it. Three were DS titles (Zoo Keeper, Red Bull, and something else craptacular) and one Wii game.

I wonder if the Sony HDMI cable packs dropped to $24.97 like dreWii reported they would be a few weeks ago? I was going to scan them when I was there today but they're locked up. I think he had also said the optical cable would be dropping to $9.97.

Normally I don't buy name brand HDMI cables because they're such a ripoff but for that price I might grab one.

Not a game, but I got a pair of Sennheiser RS120 Wireless headphones for $59.97. They were marked for clearance. Amazon has them listed for $69.99, so you'll save a few bucks and not have to wait for shipping.

and about the solution for the upc sheets, my method today was a bust. it wont scan at 5 different price scanners for all over the store. i will write about it later. it doesnt need further explaining but i just got home :)
