Official Sears Clearance Thread II - post Sears finds/deals here

Looks like drops broke the trend and occurred today after all. Just scanned Vanquish for 360 on the way home and it scanned at 12.97, down two dollars from 14.97 in February.

I can confirm this. I scanned a clearance item today and the prices went into effect today. I'll be posting the lists soon.

I found a couple r-type commands which did not ring up using the scanner. Brought up the games to a register and the guy told me he could only sell them to me at the 12.97 price, which was in august of 2011. Needless to say, I wasn't happy so i didnt buy them. I came out with a couple of ps3 move gun attachments for the move for $3.97 each, so I was no completely out of luck! Saw some 250GB slim HD's also for $60 but i'll wait on those since I don't actually need one.

Thanks much for this Update...much obliged!

Alrighty, here are my finds for the night:

PSP deluxe game traveler (PSP, PSP Go) $12.97
PSP Memory stick micro M2 duo (2gb) $6.97
Official PS3 Move charging station $14.97
PS2 Twisted Metal Head-on extra twisted edition $1.97
PS2 Ratchet Deadlocked $4.97
PS2 Naruto Ultimate Ninja 3 $4.97

Saw:
PSP Go $99.97
PS3 Dead Space $12.97
PS3 Lost Planet 2 $12.97
PS2 God of War GH $4.97
various Pokemon DS games ranging from $20 - $35 including a "gold" at about $25.
(I don't do Pokemon so I don't know if this is good or not)

Many more games that are close to a decent price point ($15) but can't remember all of them. I was in a bit of a hurry so I didn't really get a chance to study things closely. There were also some clearance marked games still in the glass prison (ex: MLB 10), so you guys may want to take a closer look there.

Thanks a lot for all that help!

As far as the camera goes... I'd like it to go cheaper, but I may cave and pick one up if I can find it for that price. The three stores around me that have at least one, according to Google Shopping, all have different prices, and none of which is the one you posted. Maybe I'll stop by tomorrow and find out.

Thanks. Gonna hit up my local sears and this one still have the manager special on (Additional 50% off on clearance games). I've been looking to pick up Super Smash Bros Brawl and Donkey Kong Returns for less than $25 each.

I'd be interested in the top two, definitely Ratchet. The bottom two I'd have to wait for a price drop. Although the PSP Go is tempting...

Lots of cameras are on clearance or discontinued. We are still waiting for the new cameras and planogram to come in. Also there are pretty good deals on the 2011 TVs. Floor models should be getting sold off right now. Most stores should be getting new ones (2012 models) in the coming weeks.

Only about 2 dozen clearance games at my closest Sears. All DS shovelware. Wasn't expecting anything, that store always sucks.

Google shopping updated.
Any word on which PS3 or Xbox games have dropped?
Use google shopping. Type in "playstation 3" then sort by "local only" and "sears" and if possible chose your specific sears. then repeat with xbox 360.

Looks like Portal 2 hit the clearance cycle. 29.97.

The prices of everything are still too high for me. I'll keep waiting. There's some $8 stuff at my store but nothing that I want for that price. The only thing that comes close is Resistance 2 and I just don't want it that much and on Ebay it's pretty cheap anyway.

I'm wrong above. I'm leaving right now to go buy No More Heroes 2 for $3 and 2000 Wii Points cards for $11. I'm buying all of them, it doesn't even say limited quantity.

Is no more heroes 2 any good? I picked up professor layton for $4.97 two days ago. Never played professor layton before.

Lots of games are high priced but are coming down faster. Portal 2 hit clearance awhile back but its gone down quite a bit. I'll post Xbox and ps3 tonight.

I love the style, but the boss fights are a pain. I gave up by the baseball field. Had a good laugh with the gf whenever I charged my blade though.

I couldn't find no more heroes 2 at my store. The points cards are the 2000 Wii/Nintendo DSi points cards in blister packs. My store had 4 of them. I believe that no cash register activation is necessary since they're in blister packs and can't be slid across the credit card slot of the register. I assume they were live cards while on the shelf? At least i hope so since the cashier just scanned one of them and typed in "4".

The Pokemon HeartGold was 19.99 at Best Buy brand new at some point so in order for that to be considered a good deal it would have to drop farther, I see $10-15 as the sweet spot for that game. I would pick it up at that price, even though I already have the silver version.

I don't trust google shopping. For instance; I picked up Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection earlier this week for $12 at Kmart. I look at google shopping and it shows the lowest nearby price as $30. My local Kmart isn't even showing up in results with "any nearby store" selected.

EDIT: or even Target.

Not all the stores show up in it. Sears prices are accurate. Trust me, I just bought stuff. It usually takes a day or two to update but they've updated for my store. So for instance, look up the 2000 point wii cards. The were on clearance at my store for $10.97. I bought all 4. They were sealed in blister packs.

Portal 2 entered the clearance cycle. Maybe by October it will be 10 dollars.

I might have messed up on one or two of the links but most of them should be good. I think that's enough....well one more.
PSP clearance. Most near me are $99.97 but one is 49.97 - assuming it's really in stock that is.

Thank you so much for these links. If I get time I'll try and add the names to them and repost the list. I hope the PSP Go sticks around around here for a lil while longer. Fifty bones for a download only system ain't quite worth it to me yet. But if I could use a memory stick and a couple emulators somehow on it to play older games on the road I'd grab one at $20-30 for that purpose.

This is the link for the Kinect Bundle that is 99.97. The item number 41586. There is some confusion with this bundle. As I said before, a vendor came to my store and placed the Eden cards in all the bundles. However this was for the bundle with one game in the box. This bundle has a different item number on it. I'm not sure if you will be able to get that bundle at that price.

Ok I'm stopping here and will continue with Xbox and PS2 tomorrow. Sorry folks. I'm really busy with exams. I hope this helps!

Oh yeah, I came across a sign in the computer today that said 20 to 60 percent off on clearance video games so I guess they are trying to clear out a great deal of their video game section. We did just get Halo Combat Evolve Anniversary Edition lol. Better late than never?
I talked to the approval department (wife). Check your PM.
What is the value in the PsP go? It can't play any of the regular psp games and vita is out.
Can it be used as a phone?

Tonight I picked up:

:ps3: Bayonetta - $12.97
:ps3: TV Superstars - $2.97
:ps3: Blue Dualshock 3 - $28.97
:ds: Animal Crossing: Wild World - $19.97 (I would have waited longer on this one, but there were only a few copies left and I didn't want to miss out)

I'm loving that clearance is back, but all these drops are giving me the bad feeling that Sears is trying to purge their stores of video games to make way for something more profitable. Nearly 70% - maybe more - of their games are now in the clearance cycle. It's great in the short-term, but I fear for what might be coming.

installing custom firmware on it can bring emulators and homebrew.
Note that I am not advocating piracy.

Custom firmware also lets you run digital backups of UMDs you already own, assuming you have a way to make backups (and if you already own UMDs, chances are you already own an older PSP, so there you go). Again, notpiracyhooray!

So, not only is the Go perfectly capable of playing nearly the entire PSP library, it's also smaller (which, personally, I prefer, despite the slightly smaller screen), has 16 gigs of memory built-in, and you can enjoy video-out from the comfort of your couch with a Dual Shock 3. Go is the only model of PSP that can be paired with a DS3 (EDIT: can the Vita do that? I honestly don't know). In fact, if you're playing a PSOne game on a PSPGo with a DS3, you can set it to take advantage of every button on the controller, dual analog sticks and four shoulder buttons and all.

I've beat this horse to death in other threads, but I'll say it again: the PSPGo was a stupid value proposition at $250, but that doesn't mean it's not an awesome system, and a no-brainer at $50.

Ended up buying a psp go and a soft case today. I'll have to start reading about what the hell I can actually do with it but I figure $50 won't be bad for the kids to play with on a long drive.

I think you can load movies into it?

That's odd. Final Fantasy XIII is $18 when I bought it for $5

This.

I got my Go a while back for $100 from the Macy's vending machine thing deal and I love it. It really is a nice piece of hardware, it was just far too expensive for a PSP revision.
