Official Sears Clearance Thread II - post Sears finds/deals here

no ps2s or psp memory cards near me :cry:

I did pick up :ps3: Mirror's Edge, :ps3: Devil May Cry 4, and :wii: Radiant Dawn though, so thanks to everyone who contributes to this thread! (I passed on a sealed :ps2: FF XII, which I'm sort of kicking myself for...)
 
The Silver PS2 is $99.99 in the area. Everyone that wants to save gas, just use google shop first to see if the price came down before heading out.
 
Some amatuer flipper picked up 4x FFXII :ps2: in front of me yesterday. I asked him where he was flipping it to since he was on the phone with someone apparently looking up games, and he said he got them for "friends."

The google shop price for my area doesn't seem to be accurate for any of the new drops.

Was Mirror Image on the shelf next to Borderpost?;) As for stuff not being priced correctly, I'm assuming you asked for a price check on the copy of Singularity as sometimes stuff isn't marked right but will ring up the clearance price.

I sure did miss Sears clearance, but it is nice to have it back.
 
Went to Sears to see if they had any PS2 they told me they sold out. The clerk told me some big guy bought the 3 they had for $29.99.
 
I just Google searched Borderlands also and they dropped down to $6. My sears have a bunch and my Sears electronic is always completely empty so I'm going to wait for another drop
 
I wonder if having them ring up the PStwos I saw tonight a second time would trigger the drop to $19.97. I know someone before mentioned the iHome keyboard being $8 one time they scanned it and $3 the next. If so, then I know where I'm going back to tomorrow.;)

Best buy has it GOTY edition with the DLc for $10. I couldnt find any, but others have

I think maybe the Ihome had two different stickers on it? Sears sucks keeping the game area updated.

I hoping to find a silver Also. I dont have any PS2 games, but still good as a DVD player
 
Thing is, I already have a :ps2:Toy Story 3 bundle from when Target clearanced them to 50% off ($50). So I don't really NEED a $20 PStwo, but for $20 it'd be nice to have a couple 'spares' around. ;)

Can beat $20. I still have my Phat, but have only: Yu-Gi-Oh Duel of Rose, Final Fantasy 12 and 7, Goldeneye Agent Under Fire.

Hope Gamestop clearance PS2 games soon

I still have the copies of Just Cause I found from Kmart a couple years ago for $3 each, my GTA Double Pack and a handful of other games I can play on it. I still have my original PS2 memory cards too. I also still have one of those red/blue two packs of memory cards Sears clearanced a few years ago around here someplace as well.:D So I'm covered if I need anymore memory cards.

I also picked up a spare silver Dual Shock 2 when Kmart clearanced those to $4.97 a while back.;)

Funny thing is, I just looked for black Dual Shock 2's and it came up as Dual Shock 2-game console and listed the further Sears in stock but the closer one out of stock.

I do remember seeing black PStwo consoles at the closer Sears a few weeks ago as well, so maybe those are $15 on clearance?

FYI: It looks like :ps3:Little Big Planet dropped to $10. This is for the vanilla version btw(NOT GOTY), so very few stores will probably still have it.

Oh and love the sig, Galvatron.:lol:

I got one today for $3. YMMV - the lady said everything in a specific bin was $3. They had to price adjust it from $10 since it was in there, but they had manually put a $3 sticker on it.
 
Very jealous :) The Sears in IL rarely have games and the prices here are higher than what you lot are seeing. Oh well, it's not like I have time to play anyways :)
 
got kingdom hearts: 358/2 days and FF 12 in Strongsville,OH. The PS2 rang up at 99.99. Might go back during the week to see if that changes..anyone find any somewhere reasonably close to here?

It looks like google shop updated their prices so I didn't bother going back to check. Have you seen mario strikers or super paper mario anywhere? Looks like it's oos everything via google shop.

I'm wondering the same thing. I thought it was the same game/upc barcode with different artwork on the box. I was thinking of getting the Nintendo Select version during Best Buy's sale, but might hold off if there is no difference from the original Wii version.

I don't see why they would take the codes out of them. I do however wonder if they have different codes then the normal games.
 
I can confirm that the Nintendo Select games do have Club Nintendo codes. I bought Wii Sports a month ago and was able to register it for 50 points. The game is so old, though, that I had to do the survey within a couple of months or it would've expired.

I think the UPCs are different. The regular version of Twilight Princess is on clearance for $9.97 while the Nintendo Select version is $19.99. Same with Animal Crossing: City Folk.
 
Someone must have picked up the PS2 at the Montgomery Mall, wasnt there when I checked today. Did pick up:

So pissed I didnt have any service in the store so I could check this thread. Got home and saw the Little Big Planet post after telling myself earlier it wouldn't be on clearance.

Also Band Hero bundles at that store were $29.97 all systems.
 
The randomness of this clearance really bothers me. Why would something scan at different prices in different stores? I thought Sears' clearances were across the board. Am I wrong on that?

Also there's the fact that the iHome keyboard I bought scanned at three different prices within a 5 minute period; it went from 7.97 to 3.97 to 2.97.

I went to a different Sears today to check on the clearance stuff and found another keyboard, exact same one. It scanned at $8.97??? I don't understand.

Also found a Silver PS2, which I was super excited about... until it scanned at $99.99. I was flustered and the dude scanning it for me was annoyed I didn't believe him when he said it was still that price. How are people getting it so cheap?

I did manage to find a few things, though:

Snagged a Band Hero Bundle :ps3: for $29.97 and Dark Void X2 :ps3: for $3.97 each in Lewisville, TX.

On another note, met my first fellow Cagger today in the Irving Store then ran into him again in Lewisville. This guy came prepared and made out like a bandit, after watching him I still have much to learn.
 
My Sears are all tapped out of anything worthwhile. I don't think it has anything to do with hoarders, I think my local Sears just suck in general, haha. All I got between two different stores were a couple copies of Brutal Legend. Would've loved to score a Band Hero bundle, Mario Strikers, or Paper Mario.
 
Top this if you can. Last month Metal Gear Solid Essential Collection dropped to 19.9X at my Sears. Two days ago, I checked and it had been raised to $24.97. That seemed strange. Then I went back today to double check, it is now $29.97. Good job sears! lol
 
is FF XII even worth anything

i was digging in my basement and found 12 of them first print (not the greatest hits verison )

i think i picked them up from TRU years ago

looks like they only fetch 10 bLAH back in the basement they go :)

I found the old Wii system (original one with just Wii Sports) that I thought was on clearance a few months back. I had it scanned at a register, and it came up $159.xx. Lol?
 
Quick question regarding the Sandisk 4 GB Memory Stick PRO Duo - what does the package look like for it? I see a few scattered about but is it the black memory card labeled Mark II or one of the colored ones?
