Official Sears Clearance Thread II - post Sears finds/deals here

I don't think our Sears even has price scanners. But even if they do, you can't take games out of the electronics section without setting off the alarm.
Saw some 360 wireless controllers and the controller pack with Ms. Pac-Man, Lumines, Geometry Wars 2, and Bomberman both marked down to 19.97. I don't know if they ever fixed the problem with Bomberman Live or not (http://www.amazon.com/Xbox-360-Arcade-Wireless-Controller-Gaming/dp/B002SU7GJ8)
I grabbed one of those at my local store because I needed an extra controller. The staff was rather mad at me because they pick through it and clean it out the second they mark it down. Well clearance lady hadn't been around yet, so I got first picks. Grabbed a soul caliber, red faction, Wii motion plus remote, ilive dock and the bomberman games/controller. I left to go check clearance in another section and when walking by they had every clearance game on the checkout counter scanning them.

Unfortunately no sears around me had the tv. Although the guy behind the counter tried to get me one as I told him about the oblivion GOTY last drop as I have the 5th anny one. I asked about a few other games and he looked for them all without complaining. He even checked inventory on all stores around me seeing if the tv I wanted was in stock (and yes he turned the monitor to show me the results). He found me an orange box that was put in the reserve area, but to my dismay it had been sliced and game taken out.

Luckily the store manager walked by as he was helping me to remind him the store was closing shortly. I got to give him a gold star for not being an idiotic douche like a majority that work there.

I guess it depends on the Sears. No one was in the electronics department from my sears, so i took it up stairs to the men's department. This is for Clearance games. The non-clearance games are behind glasses so you'd need someone to help you to get it out.

Your store isn't out in like central northern NJ, is it? That's the ONLY Sears I've ever seen with a fully enclosed gaming/electronics section.;)

One of the Sears near me is also this way. I try to avoid it unless necessary :)
My Sears had the RCA TV. Salesperson looked up the price....$349. ARRRGH.
That was probably the d version (it's the same as the one on sale but has a built in DVD player) which is denoted with a d at the end. Or it was the led version which leave out the L at the beginning. Both are on sale for $349 this week. I got excited too till I saw the d ending at my local sears and it rang up $349
My sears had the only scanner ripped out of the wall. Who the hell does that?
El Hoardo.

Make that 2 Sears like that in NJ. The one in hackensack has all their games just thrown into a glass case. So I had to have them watch me while i sorted through the games.......pressure much

Got an XBox 360 60GB LIVE Starter Pack for just $10.78. $19.97 + 50% OFF Managers special. There were two of these that I've been keeping my eye on but only one left today.

all of the sears close to me have it at 249 as well as having it out of stock. a shame.

now on a different point, since google shopping is a couple days behind, does that mean I should physically go into sears to check prices after a drop, as online might be incorrect at that point?

Expend the gas and go in store to check prices. Don't call unless you want the employees to possibly grab up some stuff you may be after.:whistle2:#

The two models of RCA TV are both at $349.99. I grabbed the similar items as other CAGs. The Kung Fu Rider dropped to $4.97. The play & charge kit (white or black) is still $19.99. Wired White Xbox controller is $29.99.

Someone took the last copy of Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia at the closest regional Sears today for $5.97.

I was hoping to have someone go pick it up the next time they went down there. Guess that won't be happening.

For :360::
1) Guitar Hero- Metallica: $4.97
2) Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six (Platinum Hits): $4.97
3) Devil May Cry 4: $5.97
4) Madagascar 2: Escape 2 Africa: $4.97

4) Def Jam Rapstar (Software Only): $7.97

For :psp::
1) Silent Hill Origins: $2.97

For :wii::

I am led to believe that any of the games with a July (JUL) clearance tag, are going to be at least 50% off, as Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six for :360: was listed as $13.97 but rang up $4.97. Some deals to be had fellas; it made a "Believer" outta me.

Did pretty well today:

TomTom XL 325s GPS 39.97
360 Wireless Controller 4 game bundle 19.97

They had 3 other Dualshocks when I left. Went to McDonalds to eat and thought maybe I should go pick em up... Of course went back and they were gone dammit

Thanks to this thread my friend and I went in and both go the last two 60GB Live Starter pack for $9.97. The sticker said $19.97, but check out rang it up as $9.97. We were surprise and pretty happy about it.

Pretty good haul today. Did a sweep of pretty much all the Sears in my area...

:360: 60gb Live 3-month Starter Kit - $19.97
:ps2: Katamari Damacy - $2.97
:ps2: 2x Dualshock 2 - $4.97 each
:ps2: 2x 8mb Memory Card - $4.97 each
:ps3: Dualshock 3 Silver - $19.97
:ps3: Alpha Protocol - $4.97
:ps3: Kung-Fu Rider - $4.97
:ps3: Red Faction Guerrilla - $4.97
:ps3: Borderlands (non-GOTY) - $4.97
:ps3: Singularity - $4.97

Got everything I wanted except for Persona 3 and Oblivion. The Singularity was the sweetest since it was semi-hidden in a glass case, on hold for a prick-of-an employee that didn't help me out at all last time I was in the store. Welp, he was on lunch break, so I got another employee to get it and sell it to me. He also had MLB 09 on hold.. I should have taken it just to spite him, but I was feeling nice.

Also, does anyone know what the policy is for items that don't scan in the system? I know one store that has like 5 of those 4gb Memory Stick Pro Duos that were down to like 2 bucks, but they don't scan at all. Any idea how to go about getting them? Thanks in advance!

Wow, awesome deal. I wish my local Sears had these special manager markdown clearances.

So, I was able to check out 2 Sears after work. I picked up:

:360: 60 gb Live 3 month starter pack $19.97
:360: black wireless controller pack $19.97
:ps2: black controller $4.97
:ps2: 8 mb memory card $4.97
:ps3: Silver Dual Shock 3 controller $19.97
:ps3: Singularity $4.97
:ps3: Red Faction Guerilla $4.97

I did report in a previous post that the :wii: classic controllers are $4.97. These are the whites ones in plastic packaging before the redesign. I scanned :360: white play and charge kit, which turned out to be $19.99. What does the packaging for the clearanced black play and charge kit look like?

There are 3 models. An LCD, an LCD w/built in DVD player (denoted with d at the end of the model) and an LED (it starts with a instead if L).

Only the plain LCD is clearanced

Google seems to be working through an update. I noticed some stores listings disappeared that were OOS, and some other stuff disappeared. No price changes yet that I can note though.

Picked up 2 60gb starter packs. There were 3 more left.They also had a 360 wireless mic 19.97, 2 ps3 Bluetooth headsets.

Sears Salem,Oregon

Also, the wireless Rock Band/Lips/Band Hero official 360 mikes were down to $9.97 yesterday. Saw a TON of them at the store I went to.

Oh, sorry for the double post, but I just found this TV: Sony - KDL-40V5100 - 40" LCD TV - 1080p (FullHD)

Watch for it if you are looking for a new TV, because some stores(now sold out near me) had it at $360 down from $1200.

I have an extra Fossil Fighters, Imagine Detective and Dream Pinball :ds: that I'd be willing to sell for cost plus shipping. Otherwise, I'll take them back next week.

I also have an extra 60GB starter kit, if anyone wants it.

Krayzie and any thee neoh cats who can't find a 360 hard drive kit let me know via pm and I'll meet you somewhere. I grabbed the two at chapel hill before SD could.

I'll gladly hand one off to a local CAG in my operating area.

Just can't trade on here so nobody ask me to ship please. I'm just trying to help the locals.

Got exactly what I was looking for...
2 60 gig starter sets 360 19.97
iLive silver boombox 7.97
Halo wars 360 4.97
Rainbow 6 Vegas 360 4.97

:) overall I'm extatic hope Sears keeps it up
Did you read the thread?
God those people are douchebags.
I read and I agree. Douchebags, but they at least gave credit to CAG.

This is why I only buy what I need and leave it for others.

The guy I ran into was gloating about finding it on the internet. He even said slickdeals when I asked.

That's the difference between CAG and SD. Most of us don't gloat publicly about finding shit.

That, and they still shit off us.

I think I got the last 60GB Live Starter Kit at my Sears. Also picked up Soul Calibur IV and Left 4 Dead for 4.97 each.

The Sears had the RCA 32LA30RQ in stock but when I asked for the price in the system I was told it was 249.97 so I didn't pick it up. Stupid mistake? Would it have rung up as 100 when it was actually scanned or was the deal YMMV? I didn't want to let on to the deal to the clerk.

It would have most likely rung up for $100.

Anyway, as some one said earlier, it looks like Google stock has been updated but the price hasn't. The store I went to pick up singularity showed limited stock yesterday and now it is out of stock but the price is still listed as $9.97.

So went back to Sears to return Red Faction, someone bought all the Dualshock 3 silver.
Atleast I got singularity out of this.

I DO NOT get the idea of buying this 5 dollar games to sell them on ebay. I looked at few of these 5 dollar games and they sell for about 10 bucks+free shipping on ebay. So if your lucky you will make 50cents!!!!

I don't think it was, but to be honest I didn't look that hard. I just checked the model number. It probably saved me $100 as I really don't need another TV....LOL

I have a 120 gb harddrive already so hard for me to justify picking up a 60gb starter kit. Why are some people buying 2-3 of these? are they really that flippable?? they dont work with the xbox slim...

Where was CAG given credit? One person posted that the deal was from CAG, followed by several people saying why give credit? Douches all around.

Anyway, picked up a few things today:

Red Faction Guerrilla 4.97
Dead or Alie 4 4.97
Dead Rising 4.97
Ski-doo Challenge 4..97
Halo Wars (normal non-ph version) 4.97
Chronicles of Riddick 4.97

PS3
Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time 5.97
Little Big Planet was coming up 4.49 but said return to vendor and the guy would not sell.

Wii:
Dead Space: Extraction 4.97

I also have a 120GB harddrive. This stater kit comes with headphone, harddrive, and a 3 month xbox live card. I got it just for xbox live card.

I only purchase 1 and the reason why people getting it because its a great deal. If u look online, its easy to remove this hard drive and put it inside a 360 slim external case. (I dont have a slim btw)

Xbox live 3 month is $15 I think?
