Things have changed drastically since I started this thread and I've gone from a quality control monitoring job with other duties thrown in to monitoring double the amount plus the work of others. Bascially, I now do the job of three comparing the company now to that of a year ago thanks to layoffs and not hiring to replce people leaving. Plus I generally work 6 days a week and often ten hours with no break. I'd quit, but I have a hunch that our department will be hubbed in another city around July and I might as well hang in for the layoff package. Basically, this means I have zero time for internet and thread managing the way it should be done. My trade list and pm box fall by the wayside and I hardly email or even check my facebook/myspace. I didn't even find time to manage my fantasy football team and will completely forego baseball.

I know IO is busy enough as it is with a couple of threads, but if anyone wants to take over this thread and start a new one, please do so. Of course, I should have all the time in the world to keep it up to date if you want to wait unitl around July.

I got tired of going to TRU for the most recent clearance drops only to find more here on CAG from one of the three threads after I got back from the store. So I've compiled a list from the posts of Starving Gamer, Benboxer, life.exe, cmosfm, Kevzik's pics of lists at his store, the lists I saw at local TRUs and the many posts of awesome CAGs in those threads. I am by no means associated with TRU and I don't have inside information on upcoming drops, but I wanted to post a consolidated list to help other CAGs. As new drops occur Benboxer, Starving Gamer and anyone else is welcome to post new lists here and/or in seperate threads for more attention for the new items and I'll update the OP for total lists. Please keep in mind that some of these games are YMMV on price and as with all ongoing clearances availability is always YMMV as well. Most 9.90, 5.00 and 3.00 games are from the recent drop of a couple weeks ago. Thanks again for everyone's contributions and especially those early lists. I wanted to get this up and running and will do some tidying to the list as necessary. I'm not familiar with every game on the list so feel free to post or pm inconsistencies in titles!

NEW PLEASE READ SEE POST #2 FOR LATEST DROPS
A few things about pricing. All of the last round of drops are 9.90, 5.00, or 3.00. A lot of the 9.90 games were 19.98 before, most of the 5.00 were 9.98 and most of the 3.00 were 5.00. So if you see a game that is 19.98, chances are it may drop to 9.90 next drop which will probably be in a few months. As with any clearance a lot of these games may have been sold out at your store before they were even clearanced and now that the latest drop has been at least a month those games may be hard to find now, too. I do still see several 19.98 some 9.90 and some 5 & 3 games in this area. Don't forget to check the glass case and you can ask if a game is in back as sometimes this is the case.

READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE CHECKING THE LIST
Games in blue are from the latest drop, most of which were on clearance already at higher price points.
Games in green are VERY RARE games from the latest drop that were originally shipped to stores in VERY LIMITED quantities when the game was released and only a very few CAGs have found these.
Games in Yellow are have been widely reported as YMMV as pertains to price point.
Games in Orange are new reports that are awaiting confirmation

There were a few mark-ups yesterday..

Homecourt went up. NFS Carbon up to $19 i think. Monkey Ball (ps2) up. Star Wars for DS up. I forget what else.

They must have taken it off of clearance cuz I was able to get if for a lil under 16 and Elite Beats for 12 @ TRU a couple of weeks ago.
 
Picked up Super Monkey Ball Deluxe (PS2) for $5.00 & *fanfare* Baten Kaitos Origins for $14.97! I've been wanting this one for awhile, and I couldn't very well pass up SMB. The second game was fantastic and I've been dying to play the new levels!

They had some Gurumin's and EEE's for 20 bucks, and a bunch of X360 sports titles (har har)
 
Two copies of Super Monkey Ball Deluxe (PS2) suddenly appeared in the clearance bin, marked at $5.00 each. I picked up one and it scanned $19.99. The clerk adjusted the price back to $5.00. She said they just got those games in marked as clearance and were told to put them right in the clearance bin. Did anyone else's TRUs get in new copies of SMB Deluxe?

The official Microsoft Xbox 360 VGA cables have gone to 9.98 clearance.

I wish I would have know this before I picked some up on ebay...
 
i brought suikoden tactics and guns for 9.89$ plus taxes.

are theses any good? I am a suikoden fan and wondering if tactics is any good.

I tried both copies and they both scanned at $19.99.

I was able to snag a copy of SMBDeluxe for PS2 for $5 also. It did ring up $19.99 but had the $5 red sticker on it. At first, the clerk and manager (whom the clerk called to override the price) tried to insinuate I had pulled the sticker off of something else and stuck it on but I wasn't going to have any of that.
 
Thanks for this thread!! I just got me Beatmania Bundle for 9.90 :D I have always gone to Toys R' Us since they always have nice clearance, but now at least I can go with information xP
 
Anybody else get "$10 off purchase of $50"?

I got it today in the mail, I assume I can use this on MGS4 which I just pre-ordered, says it only excludes "Video Game Hardware"...

I printed out a new clearance list (for 6/9) but left it at work... I'll try posting it Sunday, but all it had was a bunch of $9.98 clearance going down to $5.00 and one $14.98 title --Yakuza for PS2-- going to $9.98.
The titles going to $5 I can remember were Genji: Dawn of the samurai, Getaway Black Monday, Black, and Bad Boys for the PS2; also the original Forza for XBox. Nothing great, though Genji's not bad for $5...and Black, if you can find it--we're supposed to have a copy but I haven't seen it in aeons...
By the way, SMB Deluxe was just one of a bunch of 'glitch clearance' titles that appeared one fine Thursday and weren't corrected until the following Monday. Also included in this bizarre glitch were the Genesis Collection and PoC Dead Man's Chest for PSP @ $5.00 and NFS Carbon for 360 @$9.00
...weird--hope it happens again! :)

And yes thank you for not completely ravaging the area, there were a couple other games (though I found them instantly forgetable) at that TRU. BA2 was the only one I thought worth mentioning. ...still gotta hit a couple other TRUs around here and see if there's anything worth grabbing.
 
I picked up a Gamecube Memory Card 251 for $4.98 this past week. The clerk said they just dropped in price from $19.99 on Monday.

Nitrobike (Wii) seems to be on clearance in the Capital Region (NY) for $9.99, I can get a scan of the receipt when I get home.

I have never found anything worthwhile at that TRU. o.x It's become a customary "waste of time stop" between Mitsuwa and Barnaby's. I keep hoping I am going to stumble upon a clearence Eternal Sonata at a TRU, but probably not. ;_;

I picked up two over the weekend for $4.98 as well, but they were $9.98 just before that.

XB360 64 meg memory card is 14.98
XB360 Pink wireless controller is 44.98(Pretty sure this is it, can't remember if that's exactly it)

BTW, Starving Gamer posted that new drops were coming this past Monday, but he hasn't been able to post the list yet. I'll see what I can scope out while I'm at my TRU.

I just ran over to TRU (Colonie, NY) on my lunch break and I picked this up at said price.

Yesterday at the same store I grabbed Far Cry Instincts Evolution for $3 and a 251 Block Cube Memory Card for $4.98.
 
That $0.90 360 cable price is extreme YMMV. I ran to TRU before work today and there were NO new prices on anything I checked.

I saw a couple of games starving gamer mentioned dropping to 5 marked as such, but no other drops and the VGA cable was sadly still 9.98.

I spotted both Genji and Marc Ecko as well at $5, but you seem to have those listed already lorne.
 
I don't know if this had been said or is YMMV but my TRU had buy one game boy advance game $29.99 or less get another one for 50% off. It goes on till the end of the month.

DDR: Universe was $20 on clearance at the same store.


Quick Question though. If something reported as clearance in this thread is marked higher in my local store, is it possible that when they scan it it'll be in the system as clearance?

I'm trying my best to find a store in Maryland that has Burnout or DOA4.

Yes. Just ask them to price check it. Sometimes it will ring up less than what it as marked as, sometimes not. I think the OP mentioned some of the games that are YMMV as far as price point goes.
 
Just an FYI, for the price changes for next week (6/23) for TRU, All already clearanced games will be marked down again. I just glanced at my list so hopefully I'm correct on games going down to $9.98. Hopefully I can get a list up by this weekend.

$14.98 -$19.98 games will be going down to $9.98

There were also a bunch of Wii games priced at $14.99 - $19.99 that is also going down. The only one I can remember is Super Monkey Ball going down to $5.00.
 
Sweet - I'll drop by my Toys 'R Us to pick up Gurumin, Gitaroo Man Lives and maybe Innocent Life for the psp. :D This added with the B2G1 free on DS titles, my wallet's going to hurt...
